Really? Let's see, hmmm....Adam was there in 2011 with Queen. I realize that he was invited by Brian May and Roger Taylor to perform with them, but he was there.... So nothing is impossible. Or ridiculous........

Can't stand the tiniest dose of realism on this site can you?

I'm firmly rooted in reality, just so you know.

What I CAN'T stand are the words "never" or "ridiculous" or "ain't gonna happen" etc. when someone is talking about future possibilities for Adam. Also, the phrase "the only way Adam would ever be invited...." invites a certain amount of possible "word-eating" at some future time and place.. We're talking possibilities here, not absolutes, or sure things... I prefer to term "maybe"....or "wouldn't it be great if...".

You were talking about the 2013 Ema,s. Not some date far in the future. It is In no way realistic to think that adam would get invited to that unless he was supporting some other performer such as avicii or queen.

I retweeted it too, the avi looked generic but it wasn't any big deal either way.

Here's the thing: It was a fun tweet... theoretical in nature. The Question was: "which artist do you want to see perform?" Not "who do you expect to see perform"..... You're right, I don't expect to see him (this year...) but I would love to see him. And it's not out of the realm of possibility that we could see him as a presenter...or whatever else... Who really knows. I agree it would be a surprise, but a very nice one.

I also appreciate that you explained your original comment more fully here. It's easier to get your meaning. But at the same time, to question others' grasp of reality ie "Can't stand the tiniest dose of realism on this site can you?" didn't help much. Most of us don't live in an Adam Lambert World bubble. We know the realities. But I think we like to be hopeful and positive too.. And I love surprises :))))

No, most of the commenters here do live in an Adam bubble. Many fans build up the tiniest hint of something to be something huge and then are crushed and disappointed and blaming others when it doesn't happen. This site and many fans could use a dose of reality.

You don't have to be a fool to be a fan.

You can read a report that the idol producers are looking for big star judges and realize that adam isn't going to get it instead of hysterically calling the person who posts that report a troll.

You can acknowledge that Adam hasn't been writing with any big name writers and producers and realize that RCA wasn't supporting a new album long before Adam told us, instead of calling people who mention that trolls.

You can realize that adam doesn't have any hit songs played in Europe in the last year and therefore he is not
going to be invited to a big European awards show.

These are pretty common sense conclusions for people of average intelligence. Which I can see does not include the majority of posters in this site.

@glitzylady I was wondering about Suz,too. She was so generous in sharing her videos of Adam's concerts and because of her, we were able to enjoy so many of his performances. I met her when Adam was performing in the GNT at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego. She was right behind me and was so nice to all us crazy Glamberts who were together that night.

7:24, totally agree with everything you wrote. I see there isn't much room here for those of us who wish Adam well but stay in reality. So when Adam doesn't appear at the EMAs the majority here will be crying and calling MTV every bad name in the book. This happens repeatedly but they just keep repeating the unrealistic hype and blaming disappointment without realizing where it came from. Just to be clear for the haters about to jump on me, it would be great to see Adam at the EMAs and I hope it happens but I think the chances are very low. Doesn't mean I don't support Adam.

there are those of us who think that Adam walks on water (she said sheepishly, confirming that she is one of those people)..but we do realize that he actually doesn't and that he is just a person like the rest of us..albeit, a gorgeous, talented amazing in every way person...my thought is that those who wish to point out some cold hard truths (that we are loathe to believe) have their right to do so..I know my stomach knots up when I read these unflattering words about our Adam, but people are entitled to their opinion...this site would work better if we would just scroll over any comments we deem negative..the negative Nellies will then lose their audience and skulk away (hopefully)..I LOVE Adam and truly belive that he will prevail as a super singer and all around entertainer for the rest of his life..
