Two fascinating looks. I adore Adam Lambert. ♥
I thought he was dressed as a biker. I think halloween would be vampire night. But, who knows. I know he looks fabulous with every look he chooses. Go, Adam go, with your bad self.
Good, so I should be able to print both my poems: Leather Vamp vs Dracula as well as Lambjinni. I might even do a third one depending on whether I can relate to them. Captain Hook seems tempting enough though not so into pirates. Oh that little monologue he did as Captain Hook is brilliant. Wow, if only he was by Primary 1 teacher who told stories like Three Little Pigs...With a huff and a puff, I'll blow your house down! I remember that one. lol! And I used to tell my little 4-year-old daughter then, the story of Three Billy Goats Gruff. And her face would be so tense when I did like what Adam did, emphasise voice with terrifying monstrous expressions when I read...Trip trap trip trap...first Billy Goat walks across the bridge. The troll under the bridge rears its ugly head and wants to eat little Billy. She loved that story and always asked me to read it again. lol! Mmm on the reverse, she can now tell me a thing or two that might surprise me. lwl!
Lam-my
Days yet to go and his costume box is deep
They'll be plenty in there to dazzle or creep...
A wizard, a warlock an Ancient Greek sage?
Nothing will surprise me at this stage...
His imagination knows no limit
And I certainly don't want him to dim it.
He is on an ever constant search to amaze
He's a dizzy-ing whirlwind, I'm in a daze.
I suspect the vampire theme has him in it's grip
So I wouldn't be surprised if fangs made one more nip.
Perhaps it's time for a BATman in truth.....
You know the kind with a hollow tooth.......
Or maybe two...the better for sucking........
(Not to worry Admin.......THAT'S a rhyme I'm ducking!!!
; )) ...........JAK
Vampire ... hmmm, not so sure.
I think Adam intentionally titled his Instagram photo "Vamp". There was a little gender-bending going on and I, for one, loved it! He looked prettier than a woman ... even with a beard and moustache. Ha...
I think this is really just part of Adam's feminine side. This look was quite daring and Too HOT. I'm sure there were a lot of appreciative stares.
xo laura
p.s. I like seeing Adam and Drake together. Sweet!
I think Adam should use more make up for his Captain Hook image. He would look much more sexier and brought a lot of media attention.
Another gem, JAK! And Lam-my, I love all the poems you come up with, too. I have to start working on a limerick. Interesting that the tweet refers to Adam as the "Lay Me Down" singer. Loving Adam's pre-Halloween continuous dress-up party. Bootsy's outta be a real jaw-dropper!

Lambjinni
Lambjinni is painted blue, bedecked in sapphire, ruby, emerald, rainbow hue
At the moment, he's trapped, floating in a river
Bobbing up and down in a frosted lamp, not much ado
Hoping to be released by someone who chances upon it
Pries it open, reveals the genie and be granted a wish or two
Mmm...Lambjinni, where exactly is your magic lamp
Oooh, I see something shiny and blue, drifting near the river bank
Whoa...a unique antique lamp with an elegant spout
Hey, something's moving inside...I hear a leggiero shout
Let me remove this tight rubber-clamp
Oh my goodness...it's alive...spirit of the lamp
A wisp of spirit escapes with a swish
An ethereal voice sings...Your wish is my command...
Lambjinni oozes a bluish tinsel glow with deep reddish eyes
Hovering above the lamp, an awesome configuration flies
I've everything that I need...I said; let your spirit bequeath
Open Sesame !...Lambjinni gestures with a booming commanding shriek
Across the river, a blue diving-ball surfaces, moving, sleek.
Climbed in gingerly and the round hatch slams shut
The blue diving-ball submerses to the the ocean floor
Hang on tight...oooh so cool, all around a majestic sight
The deep caves and thousands of emperor penguins, it's heaven on earth !
A huge mean octopus envelopes the diving-ball, violently constricts its tentacles
Rriinngg...rring...Hey Lambjinni, send me back on land, can't breathe !
What a mysterious, colossal underwater labyrinth
That's a strange dream...I wonder what it means
Water is life or perhaps an indication of a windfall
Say, what's that thing hanging on the window wall !
Goodness gracious...it's that genie lamp !
Lambjinni...Hello ! Hello ! Are you still there ?
Well, I've always loved antiques...this lamp will be my favourite exhibit
Thank you wherever you be...not to worry, I still see you
Every day Lambjinni, in your awesome leather finery
Lam-my
The 'leather vamp' also looks like a 'Barbarian' out of a movie.
wow Lam-my you outdid yourself this time. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.
I don't think Adam was going for a female look for NPH's party. I thought it was a glam hair metal rocker look like Motley Crue, Poison and White Snake.
9:16
Thank you!! You know, probably it's people like You! and several others such as DRG above...who goad me on but finally it all boils down to Adam...don't know what it is, he simply makes the words flow...lwl!
Lam-my
@7:00 Totally agree. I like Drake too. I'm also interested in Adam's motifs.
*motives
Goodness, loving all the creativity goin on here! Great poems ladies...thank you!
CT
Thankey JAK and Lam-my for your creativity , a strong force of nature:)! Lam-my you took me with you into the magical sight of the deep caves and ocean, heaven on earth for sure!:)) I used to tell my own bed time stories to my twin sister, she listened to my voice so intensively, believing my every word, I had to continue my stories as a series every night. I stopped telling them as a teen, lost my ability...but my sister still asks me for a story..after 40 years:)) Kindred.
Hey Kindred
That's such a loving story. No wonder, they say twins are very close and share deep mutual feelings. Oh, I probably have some idea now, why you followed my Psychobert story so closely...perhaps you were recapturing your story-telling experience with your twin sister; rather interesting. Thank you!!
Also Thank you!! CT. You always enjoy my poems.
Lam-my
I think the genie costume is a little feminine but the wild beast outfit & Captain Hook are masculine.
@5:00 AM
Do you think the fact that the genie in "I dream of Genie" was a wommen, might make the costume seem more feminine to you?
For me, it's so funny, whenever Adam puts on anything, it immediately becomes masculine looking. I guess because the man is so damn sexy, with his 6ft one frame, gorgeous body, and to die for face. He just can't hide it. His manhood just burst out all over the place; so to speak!
@5:00 AM
Correction @5:48 Here/
First line / spelling, should be women instead of wommen.
@5:48 here/ correction for 5:00 AM
actual time was my 5:45 AM post; sorry for the confusion.
9:16 HERE I forgot to mention I loved JAK poem last night too.I don't know where all the creativity comes from in a few of you fans. Adam is so lucky to have such fans.
Once again, poetry abounds! Adam sure brings out the creativity in us. JAK and Lam-my, thanks for coming through again. I think the Bootsy Bellows party will give us LOTS of poetry inspiration!
DRG
Lam-my, I think you are right about
my interest in your stories, deep down, there is some kind of very familiar feeling in them for me. I remember something forgotten decades ago and end up finding a kindred spirit. On an Adam Lambert fan site, Thankey!:) Kindred
In this pic he looks like Ozzy on Survivor, LOL. JAK and Lam-my, you ARE REAL writers, M
@ M and anyone else curious how I started rhyming.....OT...
When I was a small child we traveled constantly from state to state and my earliest reading was roadside signs....there was a man's shaving product called Burma-Shave. This was long before TV so other than radio, billboards were the "commercials" of the day.
Burma-Shave signs were rhyming couplets..........
"Pity all the mighty Caesars,
They pulled their whiskers out with tweezers "
"Don't lean your elbow out too far,
It might go home in another car".........etc. etc. etc.
I was writing my own by the time I was six....still am....JAK
@ Lam-my......nice example of narrative poetry!!!! : )
JAK, Lam-my and others, my interest in storytelling was encouraged in school until I was 15yr. Then all fiction was banned and only reality and facts were allowed, that happend to me. But my twin sister instead continued writing at home, still writes poems, she is a computer wizard, does picture manipulation and "paints" with computer.Having severe artritis she didn´t go to school for long. Different lives but creative in many different ways!:)))
@1:09pm, forgot to add, Kindred.
JAK
The Caesar rhyme is sooo funny! lvl! (laugh very loudly). And the arm going back in another car is grotesque to say the least. lvl!
Oh okay...it's called narrative poetry and Margarita Lady classified another one of mine as prose poetry. Well, my classification of all of them is Adam poetry. lwl! Hey Thanks a lot JAK! I like all your poems including the one above; they mirror the 'Caesar tweezer'. lvl! Not only that, you always leave something for me to mull over...like the last two lines in your above poem; can't quite figure that. lvl!
DRG...Thank you!! You, like CT, always enjoy my Adam poems; it's the natural thing in us! We may be living 12 hours time-zone apart on direct opposite sides of the Earth but Adam brought us so close together as if we were just living next door, side by side. And this is the core, the essence of Adam. If we go right down to the root, it's actually his voice/singing; but it became and meant a lot lot more as we now know it. Thank you! both.
Kindred
Your twin is pretty talented, you too! Thanks for staying with me through thick and thin. You do refer to me as sister in your comments and said you felt the sisterly love. :)
M
As always you're such a devoted Adam fan and a great supporter of my poems/writings. All the best to Sauli...Kindred and M. He too is special, handsome and very talented.
Lam-my
In my summary, I left out 9:16...
Thanks! You indeed touched a nerve. The words: "outdid yourself, hard work and dedication" ring a bell...I used to get those in my work life...
Lam-my
JAK
I think I got the last 4 lines of your above poem...after mulling over it. Interesting. lwl!
Lam-my
@ Kindred...I'm astounded, why on earth would creativity be banned? That's so strange to me.
How wonderful, your sister, I'm sure inspired by your story time, continued to write and express herself. Your stories are still there inside you I'm sure. : ) ........JAK
There seems a drastic change on this site, especially this particular thread; this is what I've pictured it to be all along...Congratulations! Admin.
Lam-my
9:16
I actually have a medal to prove what you said and that's why your words touched a nerve. :) Thanks!
Lam-my
Lam-my and JAK, This change in this site feels to me like a shy feeling of freedom. Time may give me more courage to write.
OT.It was really strange time at school when my writing suddenly came to be the wrong way to express things. My way was to "paint" a scenery with words. I think there was a change in society that time in Finland too. Short, simple and full of fact, the best way to act:)). Have a really nice day ahead!:) Kindred
And thankey Lam-my for your kind words, you always make me feel good.
Sending beautiful thoughts through space....:) Kindred
Kindred
Why not start by telling us one of your favourite stories, you told your twin sister many years ago...only if you like to. I can stand in as your cyber twin. It does sound unusual that you all were banned from writing fiction. So now I understand even clearer why you followed my story Psychobert, beginning to end; because it's totally fictitious. lol! In fact when I wrote that weird story, I had no idea where it was going nor how and when it would end; because in between I was vacuuming the house. lol! And then, you kept following the story with me and I thought it quite unusual but fun and so I kept writing until Part 7. But the thing that hit me most was after completing the story I happened to switch on History Channel, and Von Daniken's and Gorgio's Ancient Aliens was on. And so I thought they too were talking about complete fiction and I said what a coincidence. They started bringing in hard facts! which of course many label as pseudo science; though I feel they make a lot of sense with convincing evidences through serious excavations, studies of ancient artifacts, monoliths, paintings, writings, tombs, religious books and known alien sightings. It then suggested to me sending Adam/Psychobert into outer-space to meet his 'forefathers' was not entirely fictional after all! lol! I actually said it out loud to myself, goodness gracious, I stumbled onto a controversy not fiction entirely. lol! Thank you!
Lam-my
Lam-my,Interesting idea, The only thing is,the translation of my Finnish words may not deliver my memories the way I would want. And the age gap of me then and now is huge:), though I am still almost as naive. I still believe no evil until proven. My stories were told as a child to a child and my fiction resembled the stories of Tarzan- books of Edgar Rice Burroughs, I loved them. I identified myself as a hero of my own life, nothing would face me or brake me. Of course reality is full of surprises, not being always ready for everything. My sister remembers a lot of our mutual childhood I have forgotten, sometimes incredible memories, sometimes hard to believe, it was me. Maybe I could ask for my sister´s memorybank, I can publish one of my fairytales here but only if it really feels to be my original one.:) Kindred
