Whoa! Adam as Ellen's Dj...That's a rather new change to Adam being interviewed on the armchair. Yea Ellen, very shrewd at business all right. That means Adam can dance along at the Ellen intro. And then Ellen with her poker-face look will pull jokes off Adam. These two are the veterans of shows. Like I recounted in yesterday's comment, I wondered what Ellen would make Adam do; like one year, she asked Adam to sing an original Christmas promotion song with her name embedded/wailed in it. Perhaps in retrospect, Adam as Dj could play this song...very good you know, with angsty wails and Ellen mimicked it to the audience. They could also use Lay Me Down as the Ellen dance intro...that'll get everyone's spirits up and soaring. I like the way Avicii does a staccato of Adam singing...Lay-lay-lay-lay-me...need...

Drat! I was at the Ellen show just over a week ago, in the second row, right next to the guest DJs. Why couldn't Adam have been the DJ when I was there???? I would have been so close to him. I'm so bummed.

What does a DJ do on Ellen's show?
I was assuming he would just have a small segment to talk about Glee, and possibly about the Vegas gig, and he will tell everyone he is working on his 3rd album. Figured he would get about a 5 minute spot.

She talked to the guest entertainer the day I saw it, a lot. She can still talk to him all through the show. Don't worry Ellen will get a lot of information out of Adam; she knows what he needs right now. Also, the DJ on the day I saw her participated in a game. So he will probably get more attention than if he was just sitting there for a few minutes. He will also meet the other guest; so this is very good for Adam; the audience will love him.

When Adam is a guest on the Ryan Seacrest radio show, before he is on Glee; that is where he probably also be asked about all the things you want to know and mentioned in your post.

Guest DJ for Ellen; fantastic! what a great opportunity and honor for Adam. I am so excited about this. She has been asking known singers to do this. So much fun.

She will have a ball with Adam since she is so fond of him. I bet Adam is going to really enjoy this. Both of their Mothers march together in the Gay Rights Parade about two years ago.

7:56, the guest dj plays the music that Ellen dances to at the beginning of her show and also at the commercial breaks. Ellen does introduce the dj at the beginning of the show and talks to them a little then and throughout the show. A couple of the djs so far have participated in some of the bits to raise money for charity, etc but not all of them have. I am expecting some good banter between them :)

Hi Guys, Did anyone see Ellen to day. I am trying to work out how far behind we are here in NZ.
Today Monday was the Firefighters who saved the little puppies. I know it was on a Friday there, but don't know if it was last Friday November 1st or the Friday before.Will some nice person take the time to answer me. I will probably record the all and delete what I don't want anyway. But just to give me an idea, it would be great to have this information.

Jadam, you are a little early, it is still Sunday night here in the US. Check Ellen's website, I think you can watch her shows there and maybe you can see what last Monday's show was and see if you are a week behind. You should be able to watch the episode with Adam on her website too after it airs.

Jadam NZ, Ellen did a Halloween show on Friday. She was dressed as Nicki Minaj.

Ellen did the Halloween show on Thursday. Friday was with Jennifer Gardner.

I haven't watched the Ellen show in ages. I had no idea she had guest DJ's. This should be a lot of fun for Adam and for us!

The guest dj thing is a relatively new bit and the best part - the dj is there for the entire show! I can't wait to see Adam ham it up with Ellen! Should be a great show! Maybe Adam will do some dance moves!

As one of the oldest Glamberts, I can't believe he will be appearing on Ellen on my 67th birthday.
