Nope, no Adam hanging from any of these.
Yet.
Love chandeliers. but where is Adam?
nancdruuu2
The chandeliers are beautiful. Some hotels have beautiful ones, that look very expensive. Which I could be there to see Adam and the band. Will have to relay on others video taping, which I am very appreciative. With out you no Adam. Thanks again.
I'm sick of seeing photos and vids from people who just love to show off, not much point to any of it if you can't be there yourself. Some fans mean well, but some just seem to love to rub it in and I hate them for that.
sour grapes????
Uhnn, how else we gonna get pics of Adam? @9:31 AM
I am grateful for the show offs! Bring on more.
I'm grateful for anything that is Adam. Keep pictures coming. Hope videos follow soon.
9:35 AM
Yes sour grapes, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels disappointed they can't be there. Many fans send photos and vids but they don't go on and on about it. I'm truly greatful to those fans, but some of them really rub me the wrong way, they sound as if they are bragging without any thought for people who may never get to see or meet Adam in person.
I've been to a couple of Adam's concerts and had a wonderful time, most of Adam's fans are really great, but some of them were pushing and shoving other fans out of the way they were there for themselves and no one else, the group I was with had to move away from them to avoid trouble, sorry to say these fans were older women who really should have known better.
@ 9:31....such a sad sad statement. It never entered my mind that anyone who sent us photos did so to show off...I just thought they wanted to share some of the fun with us. I still think that....I appreciate every photo and every tidbit of info.
I believe every fan of Adams who are there are representing those of us who can't be there.
Have fun girls and guys, I'm excited too....Adam performing at a spiffy hotel....being treated like a STAR, it's what we've dreamed for...for him! Several of our dreams have come true lately and I couldn't be happier......JAK : )))))))
I doubt age has anything to do with the rude people at concerts. I've been pushed and shoved around and sworn at by 20 year olds. Rude has no age requirement.
JAK.. I never said I wasn't happy for Adam, I adore Adam so please don't go taking my words out of context, no one could be happier to see Adam achieving the success he has recently, it's long over due, he has worked tirelessly and now it's beginning to pay off so it's a wonderful thing to see him gaining new ground and recognition. My comments regarding fans behaviour were aimed at a small majority, that's all, I have also stated that the majority of Adam's fans are great people, I also stated that I am very greatful to those fans of whom there are many who send photos and vids for us to see, so please don't go twisting my words, I'm entitled to give an honest opinion, you don't have to agree with me either, but please appreciate that it's not always possible to agree on everything all the time.
Sorry for my spelling mistake, I've used the words small majority, what I meant to say was small minority. From, 10:31 AM
I have to agree with 8:31/10:31. I too have been shoved by some really rude Adam fans who only care about getting themselves two feet closer to the stage.
They also have a very valid point about some of the fans who do make a point of bragging constantly about how many concerts they have been to or who they have met. There are many Adam fans who have not seen him in person or who can't afford to fly the world to see him. Some fans manage to share pics and stories with grace and without being obnoxious. Others just sound like bitchy high school girls who want you remind you why they think they are so special. Some are definitely rubbing it in our faces and it isn't sour grapes to find that behavior obnoxious.
Agreed. Some do like to brag about it and show off. They are annoying.
For myself who has never seen Adam in person, and hope to when I can get away (I take care of an elderly mom with dementia, and haven't the funds), I can't distinguish between being proud, thrilled, excited and "rubbing it in our faces" about following Adam to all corners of the world in style. Must be because I am just thankful that these fortunate die-hards can give me Adam in whatever frame or context. But honestly, how can I chafe at exuberant, proud expressions of "braggarts" when I benefit from vicarious thrills when pics or comments are posted. What's more, knowing that they're with Adam reassures me that Adam is getting the support and validation from fans. Do you think he'd complain that he's seen the same faces over and over at all his performances? Envy or enmity towards these lucky folks? The only envy I suffer from is for Adam for the popularity of less deserving celebrities. But then I remind myself that I wouldn't trade it for Adam's popularity--the kind that is inspired by his unequaled talents, his sterling character, and his beauty of body and soul. Adam is earning his fans for all the right reasons--by being his artistically evolved and evolving self. And because I believe Adam has not envy for anyone for he clearly has no reason to be, I quickly disabuse myself of anything that might smack of the green-eyed monster. I will see Adam in person one day, and when that happens, I will probably make a fool of myself and become an obnoxious braggadocio, but as Adam would note, do so "in style".
And that's the point, there is a difference between sharing information, photos and vids, and simply bragging about how many concerts you go to. It's not being a green eyed monster at all, we all love Adam so of course we would all die at the chance to get to see him, some fans and thank god their in the minority do seem to love to rub it in by bragging. I have total respect for fans who attend concerts and give up their time to film the concert to send video's out for other fans to enjoy, these fans are truly dedicated and I can't help but admire them for the effort they make towards helping those of us who may be less fortunate, but I have no time for those who spare no thought for others, and quiet frankly I don't think Adam would appreciate them either. He has stated on more than one occasion that he wants his fans to be nice to each other, in other words to show some consideration.
12:52, Adam has made comments about seeing the same fans all the time but he seems to be too subtle about it for some people. One that stands out to me was during the radio tour for Trespassing. At one place he said this is the third time today some of you are hearing this. How obvious does he need to be?
I don't get the fans who have to be up front every time and then spend the whole time videoing or taking pics and then rush to be the first to get them uploaded to the internet. I definitely appreciate the pics and vids but I would take in and enjoy the concert myself, not watch it thru a view finder. Fans could take turns being the person to record the show for the fans who can't attend. Adam has expressed frustration at looking out at a sea of phone cameras.
And some fans do brag and show off about how many shows they have been to or how many times they have met Adam. It is obnoxious. Must come from place of insecurity and self-aggrandizement.
I've just read some news on another site that due to bad weather conditions tonight's concert will now be held inside the LIV nightclub. They are dismantling the outdoor stage at this moment. I'd pass this info over to this site but sorry to say, I don't know how to do this, my computer skills are limited. No doubt more info will come this way as the day progresses.
@JAK and @Anon 12:52
I'm with you. Totally.
@the rest of posters
Oh brother...
OK! Last time I'm commenting on this thread ... too mean-spirited for me. I am a shut-in with NO hope of EVER seeing or meeting ADAM in person. So I DO appreciate ANY little tidbit that any fan shares with me no matter how many times they have been to/commented on or uploaded videos of ANY concert of ADAM's or even a chance meeting. Unfortunately my in person occurrences are made vicariously through those lovely Glamberts who are Blessed to be ABLE to do all the things I will NEVER be able to do. So THANK YOU ONE & ALL for all your tireless & unselfish efforts on MY part & all the Glamberts like ME who will NEVER see ADAM in person. Love 'n Light

@tess4ADAM.....JAK here....we're in the same boat. I realize I will probably never see Adam live...unless he performs for me personally. I'm okay with that. I've had so much good in my life I am resigned to my current situation. I am so happy for the fans who do get to see him. And so happy for me to get to see him on the computer or on the TV screen and mostly ecstatic to be able to hear his voice on all communication media!
Life is still good!
@ 10:31....JAK here....perhaps you should re-read your original statement .......all I said about it was that it was sad. It was, wasn't it?
At the Adam concerts I've been to, people have pushed and shoved, mostly older women and they kept pushing on me throughout the concert. I heard people say that they're ENTITLED to be front center at Adam's concerts.
