"Orange Princess"....."Miss Sunset Beach"....."Coquina Queen", etc. I was saving them for a granddaughter, but alas only a g'son who wasn't interested in them, though he did wear a couple velvet capes, I told him they were Superhero capes.

Now that I think of it, it may be my fault he's Megatron and Nemesis at Universal Theme Park.....I warped him.

Well, naturally I had to look up the link to check out 'gross'. I clicked through almost 200 pictures waiting to be offended and guess what? No revulsion !

The next person who implies that I am a 'pearl clutcher' is going to get metaphorically 'punched'...........JAK

Adam always front and center - as he should be.

He is hosting this event, where would you put him, in the back row. He is part of the entertainment, lets people meet him and have their pictures taken with him. My opinion a really boring job, to host these events, and extremely tiring. Always have to look your best and smile a lot{ though I saw very little of Adam smiling) But it is part of his job, and this was just another job.

Meanwhile, peeps, Adam has over 1,009,000 followers on China's twitter!!!! Cheers Adam! Said it before and will say again, I love that ski outfit (that color jacket matched your eyes perfectly).

I think it should be noted that Adam was not hosting the ENTIRE Aspen Gay Ski Weekend. Just the Bootsy Bellows event.... But he IS a VIP attending the Ski Weekend so he'll always get preferential treatment, seating, entry into other events, etc.. Being a celebrity definitely has it's perks!!!

@JAK - You'll never hear that out of me! BTW, I can't stand that saying. As I'm getting older, I'm finding myself MORE tolerant of others, not less. My teenage son is wearing me down with his choice of hairstyle, clothing, music, etc. Lol

There are a few regulars that post here that I've love to hang out with, and that most definitely includes you. :)

Some people learn from life and become more tolerant, more understanding, more compassionate, less judgemental, less apt to adhere to false doctrine, they think for themselves, are always seeking new knowledge and understand the importance of forgiveness and fun.

Just plain fun and gratitude for life. I like to hang out with them. Unfortunately....in my case a number of my BFFs have moved on to the Happy Hunting Ground! We're that age...........I went to a Celebration Party last week at the beach. It was planned and paid for by the deceased during her last days in a hospice.

You can't slow down a former head cheerleader determined to celebrate! Frenchy's Beach Shack was decorated with streamers and Pom Poms in our High School colors.....and we ate fantastic juicy hamburgers and listened to The Beach Boys, Ricky Nelson and of course Elvis!

Rosie always threw a great party!

Me again.....way OT....My g'son is trying to convince my husband and I that when we"go".... we should sign up now to have our ashes packed in fireworks and we can be exploded in glorious colors over the gulf from a boat offshore! I'm considering it!......That's the way to exit with a bang!....no fooling, you can actually do that! ^o^.....JAK

You know, JAK there really is no need to be planning any parties for your departure yet. As I used to hear the Irish say when I lived in Tipperary as a 12 year old, your're still "above the sod"--and with your love of life and fun-loving spirit, we may be blessed with decades more of your sharings, wisdom and insights about Adam, and life in general. May it be so,dear one....

I have never been to Aspen or skiing. What kind of activity are they watching?

Florida is usually a little too warm for animal fur and sometimes even clothes!!!

From the pics I've seen, can't be sure, but I think they were watching their own entertainment.

8:30 PM, they were watching part of the event, a downhill ski costume contest. It is a common thing at big skiing events.
