So there are pics here of Adam at a Grammy party withvhardly any comments yet the pic of Adam with some unknown guy had tons of comments during the same time period. There is definitely something wrong with some people.
That sort of thing always bothers me too!!! I am the first one, I will admit, to sometimes see the glass as half empty rather than half full... but in seeing the glass as half full, one can feel good about what great networking (and fun) might have been had at the Grammy parties, a win/win!! A lot of uplifting posts could have been bandied about in that regard, but nooooooo ... yet there is plenty of time to open up a thread about not much to do with Adam's career. I am absolutely a participant in peeking into Adam's off-stage goings-on, I open those threads too, but I generally don't post... and regardless, I always try to post something positive on a thread that warrants a little cheer-leading. Not trying to be preachy, just sharing my POV and the fact that "I feel 'ya" on your post.
Thank God Niles won; such a wonderful man; so glad Sam and Adam called him in to collaborate on Shady; and as they say, the rest is history.
They have become, apparently, lifelong friends. Niles has been such a great friend and mentor to our Adam. The universe is aligning for this wonderful man called Adam. Adam is so sweet and kind; and fair. This world would be a better place if more people had the virtues of Adam Lambert.
Adam was at the most important after party of all; with the big winner; his friend and mentor, Mr. Niles Rodgers!
Can't see the instagrams, but I'm sure they're. Maybe they're posted in another format somewhere. BTW, friendly reminder here. Nile Rodgers does not have an "s" at the end of his first name. It's just Nile, no "s" at the end.
So glad that Adam was at that party. His time will come, for sure. Nile loves and respects him. Great things will happen!
Just an OT comment that may help people who can't see instagrams. When I just posted at 6:33 and said I couldn't see them, I was on our old desktop computer. Usually I'm on my own laptop and can never see the instas. BUT, I just got a new laptop with Windows 8. I just logged onto my new laptop here, and holy smokes, the instas work!! Maybe it's the Windows 8 that allows it. I am so thrilled to see them now. Just a heads up to others, 'cause I know not everyone can see them.
@DRG I couldn't access Instagram on my old laptop either but it finally "died" so bought a new one with Windows 8 and hey presto! Instant Instagram! :D
I'm so happy for Nile and his collabo with Daft Punk & PW. They had quite a sweep this year! What's most wonderful for me though is that Nile is such a good friend to Adam and vice versa. It looks like the mutual respect and admiration they have for each other will last a very long time.
We already know Nile wants to collab with Adam again this year since he said so and no doubt Adam would want it too. I bet there are a lot of artists out there now who would like a collab with Nile since he just won all those Grammies
To all those nay Sayers making remarks that Adam wasn't invited to any Grammy parties, well there you go! He's at the best one!
Wish I could open the link to the pics Daydreamin posted. I'm on my iPad & I can never open links for some reason . When I get to my PC it works though.
Pharrell is sitting on top of the world right now! Congrats Pharrell :)
I am beginning to feel that we are all working as Adam's PR people, and making up ideas of what we see in pictures. It has taken me five years, but I have finally come to the conclusion that the always sweet and caring Adam DOES exist, but that there is a much darker side to him too. I admit, I don't get the draw to drag queens he seems to have, but it is a fact that he is drawn to them often. He obviously has a free thinking attitude toward sex, and I think it is just hard for us as fans of our hero to think that he has a darker side and always has had it. Yes...he seems to like younger men, especially those who seem boy like but are I am sure of age.Right now he is in a lull and resting period in his life, and he seems to be enjoying himself. I would think that by this age he would tire of the parties and the hook ups made there, but it must still make him happy. I love him and his beautiful talent so much, and I will continue to love him. I, however, may stop following him quite so closely on these sites where his private life is being waved around in front of everyone. He deserves privacy, and doesn't need our permission to see anyone or do anything. I may not totally understand his thinking about his private life (and it IS his private life) but it doesn't make me love him any less. It does however make me a little uncomfortable at times, thus I think I will follow a much less invasive and less scrutinized site so that I don't end up squirming and thinking he is being analyzed that much. Like he has said many times.....It's not that deep. I don't think his love for creating new experiences is that deep either. He enjoys life, even if it isn't the way some of us would like. I worry about him being Used by people, but he is a grown man and I will just have to trust his ability to stay away from those who would kiss and tell. Love you Adam. Don't ALWAYS get you.....but you don't owe any of us any explainations. Be careful, keep honing those beautiful pipes of yours, and please share some of your music with us soon. You are a complicated man.....I don't expect to understand everything. Remember you are loved and cherished by so many fans. Hoping for an exciting 2014.
Where to start, where to start. Oh my God. Are you two for real.
First of all, why don't you examine your own dark sides, that seem to be looming oh so large, over your outrageous post.
All this crap you are sputtering is just that. This has just got to stop. We don't need to know your most inner thoughts about how you feel about Adam and the Gay community.
If you cannot accept him as a whole, good; then just leave and stop pretending to be a fan after you ranted on about his "unsavory" character flaws; good bye and good riddance; I really think he could do without all of this probing in every facet of his life. Adam is one of the most beautiful, and one of nicest entertainers out there.
Go analysis some of the problem celebrities out there that is causing so much trouble, and leave Adam the hell alone!
This is such a beautiful picture with Adam and this beautiful women. Apparently, looks like Adam had a wonderful weekend with his peers; and enjoyed many Grammy events. So thrilled for Nile Rodgers; Adam's dear friend and mentor. So glad they will be working together again this year, per Nile.
That lucky women; wish it was me! Adam is such a beautiful, kind person; that is why so many people are drawn to him; and it seems that he never makes anyone seem less. So glad that he is embraced by the straight and Gay community. Such a beautiful role model for a lot of gay youth from many of the tweets that I have seen!
I came here to celebrate our International Super Star Adam Lambert; and that is what I am going to do. I think this is going to be Adam's best year ever.
The picture is just beautiful; beautiful woman too. I also believe she is an actress; she tweeted something about being with this handsome tall drink of water. It was a cute tweet, she was so excited. Don't blame her one bit. I may have fainted if it was me!
I agree with you, Adam is one of the greatest vocalist in the world. And one of the nicest most humble entertainers out there today, in my most humble opinion of course.
I bet Niles post Grammy party was the best; with Niles, Adam, Sam, P. Williams, Deff Jam and all the rest of Niles peers! Congratulations to Nile, I could not be happier. Now I am so glad I put it on my DVR.
All is well and beautiful in "Adam's world". Thank you Adam for making my world so much more beautiful; just for having you and your wonderful talents in it.
You have opened my mind to a whole new beautiful world. You are one of the most beautiful enlightened human beings that I really don't know personally. But, I just feel that the world is a better place with you in it.
Lovely and true comment I feel just like you do. 8.34 to bad the world cannot have more Adams in it. To bad the world cannot have a lot less of the nasties. It take no talent to make up nonsense and run people down. But it takes a great deal of heart, talent and just over all good stuff to make up an genuine Adam good human being much harder!
Adam this journey with you continues to be so very interesting. You have opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking about life. I am from the Hippie era, and haven't let myself feel as free and hopeful since that time. You give me hope that thinking will soon be more accepting. 7:23 I think I may understand your feelings. You aren't dissing Adam, just trying to continue to understand him. Has nothing to do with the gay world, but the world of Hollywood. It is so far from the every day life you lead that it is hard to grasp. Far from the every day life we all lead. Adam you are a wonderful talent, and hopefully you understand all the love that is projected upon you by your fans. There is love, concern, hope, happiness and everything in between sent your way. No one is wrong, everyone is just concerned in their own way. Adam, you are so interesting and unique your fandom is very diverse. Careful fans when you start telling other fans how they are supposed to feel about things. No one expects everyone to react to things like a cookie cutter. That is what makes this fandom interesting...different points of view WITHOUT judging. Adam doesn't judge people because they have questions about people and things. Freedom of speech and thoughts, and all of Adam's fans love him and can have varied opinions on things. I haven't seen any anti gay people on this thread. Questioning doesn't equal hate.
Maybe a little less judgemental questioning might help. Also; we do not need to know all about a person's hangups about how they feel that Adam is on the path to possible destruction. I personally feel that some things are better left unsaid. As one poster put it, "there a many more hollywood celebrities out there to be concentrating on, if you are trying to prevent bad behavior". We really don't know what is in a person's heart; so I don't know who is anti-gay or not, was mentioned, can only go by what is read. Yes, people are allowed to express their opinions; but, they don't to drudge up every possible deep dark secret possibility that they feel may be gripping our beloved Adam. This is nonsense in my opinion. Adam is a grown man; he can take care of himself. If problems arise; he has a loving family and many friends who he can turn to.
We should be here to enjoy the music and support this talented man in any way that we can; and that is what I am going to do!
Adam you are loved. Adam you are talented. Adam you are handsome. Adam you have a sweet soul. Hope this is a clean and simple comment that will be accepted by all on here. Let us not comment on anything but the obvious.Only happiness and light here from now on, okay?
What's the matter people, did someone get upset over a picture they saw of Adam walking down Sunset Blvd., in West Hollywood after a party. He was with some beautiful people from his community.
I would asl the upset ones; what is your problem? Think, think, think. You can't always judge a book by what you think the cover should be. Adam is young, and he was with other young people. No deep dark secret, nothing shady. Very out in the open with bright lights shining. Go figure!
Moving on; Congratulation's Nile Rodgers. Nile is such a beautiful person, and close friend and mentor of our beautiful BB.
Nile is so talented, and it is about time that his talent is recognized too. Sometimes the most prolific artists are just over looked by the mainstream, and he is an example. Go Nile and may God bless you with continued good health.
My motto is love the one you're with. Love is so fleeting, but enjoyment can be like eating a box of chocolates. Each one is a new surprise. Hope love comes to each and every one on this site, but until then, I say grab it with gusto.
I agree with both of you. Adam has family and close personal friends that can fill that role.
We as fans; as much as we love him can not run his personal life. Our own familys are probably enough anyway.
So, I join you in supporting this beautiful man.
OT: Cover of Marry The Night is almost at the five million mark. Fans are trying to reach that goal by Adam's birthday on the 29th of January. Just love that song by Adam. Gonna go give it a few more listens.
What a waste of time and space to congratulate Nile and his compatriots on 24/7. No one believes Adam comes here, why on earth would any other artist unless they are looking to read hate about Adam.
This is just insane. I can't believe some of these comments. People misidentify who is a drag queen. Homophobia. Adam isn't having sex with everybody he is in a photo with. None of you are his manager or his mom so stopped telling him what to do. Your very dark fears reflect who you are, not who Adam is.
@Anon 10:50 AM People are happy for Nile. They expressed that happiness.
Why is that a problem?
Perhaps this is the only place they have to congratulate him. Not everyone is on Twitter, or Facebook.
I'd much rather read those comments, even tho Nile will most probably never see them here, than some of the crap comments I see about Adam and some of his friends..
And if Nile did see the congrats offered here, I'm sure he'd appreciate them, as he is a humble and gracious man. And he does answer his fans from time to time.
10:50, I can't believe in this sea of ignorance and hate that glitzylady singled you out. You are totally right about the only thing they would see here is hate.
Congratulations Nile Rodgers; so happy for you. So happy that you and Adam are such dear friends. You and Adam are very beautiful, good men. I loved your book.
@Anon 11:42 AM There is much love expressed here too. And I agree, the hate is here as well. And I detest it. Let's hope that doesn't overshadow the love.
I wasn't attacking that person, but merely saying that it's just fine with ME that people express congrats to Nile here. It's much better than the s*** I see here, more and more.
You missed the point. Big time.
There is a saying that I love and I think would apply here in this case:
"Please do not "hear" me too quickly.."
Which in other words, don't jump to conclusions without thinking about what I'm actually saying, first.
That's where misunderstandings happen. Which happens a whole lot here on this blog. Sadly.
12:12, you chose to take an innocuous comment and make your passive-aggressive point to them. They actually agree with you and me that there is way too many hateful comments about Adam on this site. There was no need to call them out, especially in light of all the ignorant and hateful comments in just thread not to mention the past few posts. I'm sure you'll have some excuse now for why you are right and misunderstood and picked on. Whatever.
Glitzylady, if you want to straighten some people out please choose the comments where the person is homophobic or hateful towards Adam or judgmental of Adam. That is a much better use of your time. And sadly you will have many to choose from.

Hey Glitzy, don't bother my fabulous fellow fan, sooo not worth it. You'd know my tag if I cared enough anymore to use it. I rarely open the comments sections, don't even know why I did just now, but saw the end of this thread and thought I'd just jump in and say don't waste the time and energy it takes to reply to a pot-stirrer. I'm sure I'll get attacked, or addressed, next, WHATEVS, could not care less. And hey Glitz, allow me to take this opportunity to thank you for the links etc. that you post. I'm sure I miss many of them because I do not open the comments sections much, but sometimes I do, and inevitably there is something great from you or daydreamin and several others, so thanks to all who contribute fun and interesting information and media to this site. It can be a bitch to weed through the silliness, but ultimately Adam's worth it ;).
@ glitzylady and others who choose to use a tag. I finally quit using a tag because it's so much easier for the "nasties" to write their poisonous drivel. It gets to the point where you have to explain every statement you make, nasties don't comprehend and/or purposely twist what you say when they are on the prowl for someone to attack. You can't straighten out people who choose to misunderstand. It's a sad situation. : (
I think pharell make a come back is a big win. Poor rca for not to reconize the adam n pharell collab in trespessing can make a big impact in music industry.'Trespassing' n 'kickkin in' are unique n hv taste of MJ.
I think anonymous comments get attacked just as much. Only they don't have people coming to their defense afterwards. Seems to be an equal opportunity negative and hateful place.
@glitzylady and other longtime posters tagged or currently untagged
Rest assured you and other loyal, head and heart in the right place posters are appreciated and valued, also by longtime anon and/or former tagged posters. It's just that so many have chosen silence (lurk and don't post) or have left altogether. I often wonder about so many "old wonderful tags", how are they, where are they now, don't they follow Adam at all anymore?!? Once you really got mesmerized by Adam, is it possible just to let go... Of course things happen in RL, people change etc. but to leave Adam because of these internet low lives?!??
To all great people & memories on this site during these past 4-5 years: Getting Adam into our lives back in the beginning of 2009 was an experience worth remembering, we SHARED something UNIQUE...
How about making a WORLDWIDE toast on Adam's birthday! HOPE YOU ALL ARE WELL AND STILL CELEBRATE ADAM, where ever you are!
I still follow Adam with utter devotion :). Although I relish many things about Adam, I adore his vocal prowess and so enjoy his particular brand of performance quality on stage, & and I could never walk away from "on stage Adam"!
THe headlines here continue to be very informative (& quick and easy to access and run through ) & I hit this site often in my following of Adam.
I chose to keep a tag but it would be really easy and tempting not to. I am holding myself accountable by keeping the tag. It stops me from saying something I might otherwise regret. If only we all would have to be accountable. Sorta like in real life.
January 28 3:19AM here. I applaud your keeping your tag. I keep myself accountable without the tag, but it is quite clear to see that many don't concern themselves with such a notion. But those people who don't care about accountability and civility certainly don't care about using a few letters to tag themselves... and similiarly, those posters (commenters) who DO routinely concern themselves with civility and accountability show it in their writing regardless of a tag, which is cool. It is always easy to spot someone who is interested in being civil in the first few lines, even words, of their posts... that matters more to me than the tag ultimately, so with that in mind, I dropped my tag. (And honestly, though I don't comment much anymore, I sort of like the fact that my posts will be responded to, or not, based solely on the context of the post and not the tag at the end of that. That last line sounds a little adversarial, and it's not meant to, it's just that its human nature to form attachments to familiar people, even posters on an internet blog, and I sort of like my posts being taken and digested independently of one another, each and every time... then if I am really offbase on something, just not perceiving a point or missing something, people are more likely to take me right to task on it!! :) Not that I ever write anything really controversial :), or comment often, but still... :). Anyway, if this site started utilizing a "sign in" system and tags were necessary, I wouldn't hesitate one second to continue participating under that new system ... it'd be interesting to see if "others" would as well, lol. Have a nice day daydreamin, and thanks for all the links and info you post here. Somewhere in the past week I thanked you in some other thread, have no idea where :), but I do appreciate all the links you post and such, even though I miss I ton when I only read headlines and don't open comments sections... but I open enough to see that you really contribute positively to this site and I'm sure many appreciate your contributions as I do.

He is indeed and the best male vocalist as well and he don't need no Grammy to show you so.

A beautiful woman; with our beautiful Adam. So glad Niles and his group cleaned up on the Grammies tonight.
He looks so good.

Someone had asked recently how many Grammys Nile had won. Judging from this, I'd say none.
@nilerodgers
I've been nominated for scores of big awards & have only won a few until tonight's 3 #Grammys. I'm stunned fb.me/34ePvHBm0
Hope we get a pic of Nile, Sam and Adam at the party.

I'll be glad when the super bowl gets in the spotlight
Adam you are loved. Adam you are talented. Adam you are handsome. Adam you have a sweet soul.
Hope this is a clean and simple comment that will be accepted by all on here. Let us not comment on anything but the obvious.Only happiness and light here from now on, okay?
Okay. I wouldn't want to be the one to open my feelings up about any possible concerns. Long live our sweet, handsome, talented, much loved Adam.
@10:28 AM & 10:31 AM
Fans are trying to reach that goal by Adam's birthday on the
29th of January. Just love that song by Adam. Gonna go give it a few more listens.
Have a great day fellow Glamberts.
What a waste of time and space to congratulate Nile and his compatriots on 24/7. No one believes Adam comes here, why on earth would any other artist unless they are looking to read hate about Adam.
The reason Instagram magically works on your new computer is because everything is updated.
@Anon 10:50 AM
People are happy for Nile.
And I love the fact that Nile says he will be working with Adam again! That is major, IMO.
DRG
Hi Nile Rodgers; if you are here, congratulations on your Grammy wins, very cool.
Adam, if you are reading this; hi beautiful man! Love your super talents, and will always support.
I see no hate; possibly a lot of ignorance; hope it is not hate.
@Anon 11:42 AM
There is much love expressed here too.
Sadly.
Love Adam, he is a man you can trust. Never out to hurt any one, or take sides. Peace, love happiness to all.
This is the pretty woman in the photo with Adam:

I wasn't "straightening anyone out". I was responding to a comment. That's all.
The misunderstandings are becoming common place here. And I agree, using a tag has become a negative here. And places a target on specific posters..
To all great people & memories on this site during these past 4-5 years:
Getting Adam into our lives back in the beginning of 2009 was an experience worth remembering, we SHARED something UNIQUE...
How about making a WORLDWIDE toast on Adam's birthday!
HOPE YOU ALL ARE WELL AND STILL CELEBRATE ADAM, where ever you are!
@1:46
Tagless & Happy,
Long Time Fan & User of 24/7 :)
I am just scrolling through the comments this morning and it doesn't matter if you have a tag or not, everybody is being corrected by somebody else.
I chose to keep a tag but it would be really easy and tempting not to. I am holding myself accountable by keeping the tag. It stops me from saying something I might otherwise regret. If only we all would have to be accountable. Sorta like in real life.
@ daydreamin 8:10 PM
