And as another aside, the first time I’d seen this extraordinary talent perform live, he sang the “Star Spangled Banner” in 2009 for the Anti-Defamation League. On that night Steven Spielberg received America’s Democratic Legacy Award, previously given to Ronald Reagan, Henry Kissinger, Walter Annenberg, Colin Powell and John F. Kennedy. Here’s how the filmmaker reacted: “What my kids will remember is that I met Adam Lambert tonight,” Spielberg said.

Adam was definitely in great company at this event! Lots of great names. Hope that Melissa Etheridge/Adam Lambert duet becomes a reality. Sounds like it will!
The Insider interview is stuttering and stopping for me. Is this happening to anyone else? I struggled through it but keeps breaking up. Good interview, though.

Adam's excited, yet soothing calm--the gorgeous eye in the storm. BTW, I love this polished look on Adam, although I must admit I love him, however he looks, as I now see him with my eyes shut.
