I have never referred to Adam as my hero
He's my artistic fun guy, my enlightenment
Who extricates poems from my brain, heightened
When I see his face or hear him sing
Ting! It springs into action
Switches into higher-order amplification
Never thought it was that easy to be awakened
Had always thought it was not my cup of tea
And so I understand why some say
My poems are too long and make them cranky
On the other hand, those who give me encouragement, many!
Mmm, don't blame me
It's the Adam geyser hot spring

I agree with the fans that said this is deceiving. At first glance, I thought she was talking about a woman. It would have been more appropriate to have said, "my hero wears silver studded boots and guy liner on occasion". She makes it sound as if he dresses in drag. I don't think that is the image that Adam is now portraying in this era of his career.

I hope the crazies don't start coming out of the woodwork.

Adam wears shoes that are high & boots that have heels and he does wear makeup - maybe not much makeup these days but he does wear it.

Why be negative? Adam wears heels because they make him taller than he already is .... and he wears makeup, more at times than at other times. That's Adam .... love him or leave him.

A bit stereotypical, but it describes the artist Adam, not so much the private Adam, imo.

I mean people who think Adam wears makeup and high heels because he is gay are wrong. Pop stars have done that for decades. It's the glam thing.

Oh, where to start? As noble as
some posts may sound, and each of us are entitled to our own opinions, the truth is the truth. I feel that it is a bit mean spirited to declare that fans that have different opinions then others; have delusional wishes about Adam being straight. In reading the previous posts from caring fans; I don't see it that way at all.

Most know what he said, when he was a guest on the View morning show about two years ago, and I credit Adam with this saying; and I paraphrase what Adam said, "my dreidl(sp?) spins the other way". He received laughter and applause from the audience.

Adam's fans know that he is gay and therefore; that is not the issue. All are expressing their opinions of how they felt when reading the thread subject. No one, should be chastised or made to feel guilty about the way they express those feelings. We all love Adam.

Adam will be Adam; no matter how he wishes to express himself in his fashion choices; or other choices. Fans will continue to express their opinions and life will go on.

Newsflash:
Adam's talents will take us to the moon and back; that's what it is all about; the man and his music, because he is here for our entertainment! Everyone; be happy and flail!!!
