QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT JOIN FORCES FOR A SUMMER ARENA TOUR

Due to overwhelming demand, five additional shows have been added to the Queen + Adam Lambert summer tour. Brian May, Roger Taylor + Adam Lambert will play second shows in Uncasville, CT and Toronto and will add three new cities, Boston, East Rutherford, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ, to the highly anticipated tour. The 24-date tour, which is presented by Live Nation, now wraps on Monday, July 28 in Toronto.

Tickets for the newly added dates will be on sale beginning Saturday, March 29 at 9am local time through the Live Nation mobile app and at Livenation.com. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, March 24 at 10am local time. Facebook pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, March 26 at 10am local time. Tickets for the previously announced dates are on sale now.

Queen + Adam Lambert received glowing reviews for their performance together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last September, triggering a conversation between Adam, Roger and Brian to take the show on the road. Rolling Stone said, “Lambert astounded the audience on songs like ‘We Will Rock You’ and the closing ‘We Are The Champions’ and ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’. It was the most anticipated act of the night.” Billboard claimed, “…Queen effectively stole the show, with timeless songs that music fans of all genres can sing along to” and the Hollywood Reporter exclaimed, “Adam Lambert, Queen bring down the iHeart house. With the perfect mix of rock attitude mixed with style, theatricality, sex appeal and impressive vocal gymnastics, [Lambert] took the band’s music to new heights.”

The threesome first shared the stage during American Idol in May 2009 for a performance of “We Are The Champions”. They teamed up again in 2011 at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast, Ireland for an electrifying eight-minute finale of “The Show Must Go On”, “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions” and in the summer of 2012, Lambert performed a series of shows with Queen across Europe as well as dates in Russia, Ukraine and Poland. They also performed three sold-out gigs at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

Ya know.. I don't want to be bitchy here, but posting the Facebook pre-sale passcode here in a public blog is a bit irresponsible.. This isn't Facebook.

Just sayin'....

That shipped has sailed glitzylady, in about a million different ways, in terms of this whole tour. At this point, me personally, I won't be wagging my finger at anyone. I might not like something, but it is too tricky and sticky now to decide which moves, acts, behaviors were irresponsible and which weren't. The whole scene, matter, issue is not really Black and white, but full of gray, like it or not. So I for one don't feel good about wagging my finger at any one action, at this point. Just my POV

I missed the European gigs 2012 and I won't be able to attend this summer either... but I'm still happy for you all that are going to these concerts!

I will gladly spend my summer nights / early mornings (lol) watching Queenbert vids...Trusting fellow tech savvy and kind Glamberts to share & deliver!
