Saying 'you don't get it' is pathetic. Some of you just love digging in the dirt.

There is nothing pornographic about this collage at all. It's some people's minds that are pornographic.

6 of the latest threads are from Lambertlust. He must spend his life scouring the internet for pictures of Adam to post on this blog.

Pictures etc from other Glamberts would be very welcome here. :)

It's all Lambertlust all the time.

Admin, how about featuring some other fans occasionally?

Anonymous said...

Who did Lambertlust steal this from?

This is where all of the collages in these recent tweets from Lambertlust are really from. The original artist should be given credit.

It is ridiculous that Lambertlust puts his name on caps but he can't afford a simple credit in his tweets.

Oh my goodness, Lambertlust stole most of the collages from Nosey's twitter account that Admin has posted here. ENOUGH!! A lot of work would've gone into making those collages.

I don't see anything special about Adams hands. They are white and freckled. He does not have tapered fingers. Just ordinary hands, I think Adam would say the same thing, and laugh at you.

Anonymous said...

Don't make glitzylady upset, girls. I'm sure she knows the reason why LL stole all of these collages.

There's no excuse for taking someone else's twitter/pic/collage/article etc without crediting the original source.

If I recall correctly in one interview Adam said: to him sometimes fans are like paparazzis. They circulate his worst pictures taken on internet. Have some consideration before posting Adam's pictures every where. Put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself if I was Adam do I want everyone around the world see these pictures before sharing them. Respect!

Anonymous said...

Adam's hands evoke phantasies, I guess. That's why they are way more than just ordinary.

Anonymous said...

There are probably many hands that evoke fantasies .... to each his/her own.

One thread without fighting, hatred, snarkyness, bullying, negativeness, fingerpointing, namecalling, trolling...

One thread that is NOT ruled by cynics saying "that's how the internet works" or "freedom of speech" or "if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen" or...you know, one thread leaving you happy and content. Just like listening to Adam's voice!

To quote @11:55
"There's no excuse for taking someone else's twitter/pic/collage/article etc without crediting the original source."

Of course that's how it should be, but in this day and age of... maybe some reality check is in order...

So did @Sroczka79 or any other "collage maker" give credit to all the original photographers, the original sources of these pics?!? Or pay for the use of the pics?!

In the light of everything that happens in the net, in social media, THIS is petty and Adam fans attacking another Adam fan is pretty shameful and pointless (especially when there clearly are some other "issues" involved when it comes to attacking @Lambertlust...any outsider can see that!)

Slapping and/or cropping together pics of Adam that have been taken by professional photographers(or by fans) is not very hard to do (actually it's not a collage and it surely is not art), may take some time, but anyone with good computer skills can do it.

Have no beef in this. Just happy to see Adam, all the more happy when I still (almost daily) can see pics I have not seen before, thanks to all industrious Adam fans and the awful internet! Hah.

Anonymous said...

@4:44

EXACTLY regarding any and all collage makers giving credit to the original photographers!! EXACTLY! That rarely happens as well. Now, having said all that, I do also think that LL could take a second and give credit when he shares (reposts, tweets, etc) an image.

Anonymous said...

So very well said, from the first line to the last! Thank you. (& don't let anyone make you feel your post, or viewpoint, is cynical, sometimes, as the saying goes, it is what it is). I am not condoning casting aside rules of blogging, that are, to be fair, in existence and are well known by many ... but where one rule break happens, there follows another quite swiftly usually. No credit given for a collage, no credit to given the original photographers, etc., it's a slippery slope and if one is going to be butt-hurt about one thing, they better be pretty dang perfect in their own blogging behavior! (and might I just add, we are not talking about taking credit for 10 years of research revealing the cause for cancer or anything here... I know a case can be made for this celebrity stuff being someone's way to earn a living, etc... but we also need not over-reach on the insult & injury and harm caused when sharing celebrity driven material on the web. Just my opinion).

This is April 10 at 8:57PM here

I just want to say that I did not mean to be so abrupt and/or nasty with my post. I really just did mean, no tone or snotty attitude attached, that 8:49pm above my post did get the "porn" reference, that they didn't understand. I'm sorry that in my brevity I came off as a jerk. @8:49 - this "Hand Porn", "Hat Porn", in terms of celebrity images and such, is a "thing". (Are you familiar with that phrase - "Oh, it's a thing..." ?). I have to get out the door to work, can't elaborate (and would probably get slammed for being too long winded if I did ;), but maybe someone else can explain. ______ Porn (fill in the blank_porn) is an expression and pop culture reference used nowadays. It doesn't necessarily mean something to do with a sex act, usually just more something sexy. Again, to 8:49 and any others I may have offended, I'm sorry, I was just trying to briefly say that it was okay 8:49, no worries that you don't seem to understand that there is a pop culture context for the use of the phrase Hand Porn.

Have a great day peeps,

If others besides Lambertlust were sharing the pics on Facebook without crediting the source they are as wrong as Lambertlust. Just because someone else also did it doesn't make it right. That's a lousy grade school argument.

The most important point is the hypocrisy of Lambertlust. He stated in the comments on this blog that he was putting his name on his caps because someone stole his work without crediting him and he was upset. So then he turns around and does the same thing to somebody else. So hypocritical.

Anonymous said...

@6:03

It's not that you don't have a point cyber-citizen, you do, and if you look closely (and perhaps less defensively and with less of an apparent ax to grind), you will see that many of the posts related to your concerns give a nod to acknowledging, and even supporting, your main point! Look closely dude. But what some posters contributing to this discussion are also adding is that it is a very very slippery slope and if "policing" is going to be so at the forefront of your daily to-do list, then you better have a whole heck of a lot of citations in your citation pad to write and give out!! I am not being snarky man, I am just trying to explain what I personally perceive as other posters' positions on the subject. It is NOT a grade school argument, it is a realistic argument (and some would say FAIR argument, i.e. the whole credit due to original photographers argument and the like), it is a pragmatic argument. Additionally, my opinion is only one person's opinion for sure, but I have seen it echoed here on 24/7, and it is this - you come off as very much having an ax to grind with LL (and again, you make some good points)... but the specificity with which you direct your seeming anxiety about policing the blogosphere weakens your arguments imho. You might answer me that you take umbrage with LL more than others because, in your view, he is a more frequent abuser of these rules of blogging etiquette (& he once himself got upset over crediting issues), and I am not blogging enough to say or argue that you are off the mark, but I do blog enough to know that it is wildly unfair to assume and charge that one person is breaking the rules of cyberspace and blogging etiquette more than many, many (many many many) others out there. That doesn't make it right, grade School argument you say, perhaps, but it is, as I'm sure you know and at the risk of stating the utter obvious, highly implausible to police and take everyone breaking the rules to task! Yet you seem to be right at the ready to take LL to task; the devotion, passion, and quite frankly TIME it takes to do this gives me pause, but it's none of my business ultimately. I got lengthy, sorry, mostly I just wanted to say that if you look closely, you'll see that several here have acknowledged the validity and merit in your feelings, they just appear to question the blinders your wear towards the untold numbers of others, even within the AML fandom exclusively, who commit the same infractions but seem to escape the full brunt of your apparent devotion to policing the matter. The hypocrisy bothers you most you say, I understand, I do, but people in glass houses and all that... physician heal thyself and all that... I'm guilty too, as I said, it's a slippery slope. And there's always room for examining one's own online behavior imho, myself included. :)

re: NOSEY @Sroczka79

How can anybody think they have any copyright to Adam's pics unless they are professional photographers with a studio and Adam on location?

Did they ask for Adam's permission to make the collages or fan art pics in the first place?

I think that if you make something out of somebody else's pictures (that where not his/hers to begin with) using applications that are available to any idiot and put those pics back online for everyone to see, then you have to live with the consequences and stop whining.

It is not stealing, like it would be if you had painted a portrait, photoshopping pics or using instagram edit programs is not that difficult that you should be credited for doing that. lol

@April 11, 2014 at 7:15 AM

Oh sheesh, that's a part of what 6:49 was saying actually!! Yet 6:49 got snarked at (too many intelligently and correctly used multi-syllabic words for some people I guess, maybe they should stick to twitter). But if you read some of the comments upthread, you will see that some people here are just questioning why that one guy/girl (April 11, 2014 at 6:03AM) is going on and on about LL specifically. Honestly, I think April 11 6:03am is the same person who has commented here upthread and on others threads recently about the same scenario. I don't personally think it's "a lot" of people at all, but whatevs. Btw, @April 11 7:00AM, 6:49 used the term blogging correctly enough, geez, but you go ahead buddy and concern yourself with semantics instead of content.

So you agree that the lyrics don't fit. And they really don't, not on either commercial. Poor ignorant foreigners need not understand the lyrics, the main point is that they buy what is being advertised, tea and cars.

Anonymous said...

8:09, the commercial is in the language of the country it is airing in.

8:19, that is the point of every commercial - use something like a catchy tune to get people to remember your product and buy it.

Anonymous said...

8:19 I don't think you watched the commercials. Both songs fit the commercials perfectly.

Anonymous said...

@April 11, 2014 at 8:24 AM

Where you type in your post:
"8:09, the commercial is in the language of the country it is airing in."

I would venture to guess that 8:09 meant that the SONG's words may not always be in the language native to, or most spoken in, the country where the ad is actually airing. "Shady" is being sung by Adam Lambert in English, and though most viewers probably do speak English in this day and age, it is possible that not every viewer will speak English fluently enough to pick up on all the lyrics anyway, and the overall melody and mood of the song is key. But maybe I'm wrong.

Anonymous said...

Who really gives a fuck?
Seriously, there is nothing wrong with sharing the love of Adam pictures for everyone to enjoy.

For those who are head strong about being credited, do like a lot of fans do.... encrypt your initials or name somewhere on the picture. Then when another fan shares the picture the authenticity is already there.
Problem solved.

Anonymous said...

How about when Adam himself copies a picture and posts it on twitter or IG ?
He doesn't credit the person, nor should he.
It aint that deep.

English is my second language and I care more for melody of the song than lyrics. As a matter a fact most young kids don't care about lyrics of a song as long as it has a great bit.

Anonymous said...

I wonder how many of these it's no big deal to not credit the person comments have been made by Mr and Mrs LL themselves.

Anonymous said...

Songs on commercial often do not fit the actual product but they give a good sound and atmosphere to the ad. They often have a melody that sticks with you. This is true of many commercials. I love Shady with the Korean car ad. It's peppy and cute just like those dogs and the car. Suits the ad well, IMO.

I didn't plan to comment on who gives who credit for what on blogs. But... all I know is that the internet is largely an un-policed sort of Wild West environment. In a perfect world, everyone would be honest and conscientious about giving credit. But it's too easy not to. I don't think it will get better any time soon.

"Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need" - that's a perfect message for selling a product of any kind.
The KIA ad. selected certain lines from the song that would fit - "Baby I'm on the hunt, baby I've got you on my radar" (looking for a new car?)
"Turn it up, turn it up turn it awaaay up" played with a close-up of the sound system in the car (they even circled it to bring it to your attention).
So yeah, the songs worked.
And since Adam is so popular over there, people will relate to the songs and hopefully remember the product.

Giving credit for photos, whenever possible or feasible, is an ideal practice, particularly when the photo is the basis for art, such as when it is photoshopped, embellished, reproduced, or altered in any way. Giving credit to the source is most necessary when the new iteration is for profit, or intends to be sold, even bartered.
When the intent is to share without intent to generate income or expect compensation in any form, then the copyright laws apply, logos, e.g. and their approximation, are particularly vulnerable to legal scrutiny and action.
In the case of LL's Hand Porn,
the intent was purely to entertain by underscoring Adam's other gifts, a penchant for enhancing hands, with fingers tapering in delicate tips denoting the artistic hallmarks of an artist. LL gathered several examples to demonstrate how, even this aspect of Adam, is remarkable extension of his beauty. If the assembly of photos intended only for sharing were saddled with having to ascribe source, when sometimes that is many iterations ago, fansites would become very sparse and stale. That is MHO. Off topic, it warms me that Adam clearly is proud of his mom, who deserves his devotion and shout out. At the risk of being branded sexist, Adam's physical attributes are evident from both parents. As for his personality, my guess is that Adam gets his sharp wit, drive, and fighting spirit from his Dad, and from her, her groundedness, compassion, and humility. Just musing; all speculation, open to debate. LL's point that Adam is many times over blessed is taken; enjoyed it.

@12:04 PM

I just saw the Korea Kia car commercial posted over in Adam Official with a direct link you hit and it takes you right to the You Tube of the commercial. This TV commercial is fantastic. I just knew if people start hearing Adam's music one way or the other; they would love it. I am so thrilled for Adam; he is the best.

I have played this several times; just love it.

The Lipton Tea commercial starting playing in several countries all around the world with LMD; also, other songs are starting to take hold. Hope they keep coming.

This is so good for Adam; financially and otherwise. He was not kidding when he said 2014 would be full of surprises for us; and probably for him too!!

@7:03am

Are you kidding me? Adam is a very divine creature!!

"What you talking about Willis"???

Hoping for these two commercials to be broadcasted during FIFA WORLD CUP 2014 in June. Soccer or Football is a huge huge sport outside of US. Billions of viewers. Kind of like a second religion. Really!

ESPN in US will cover it and important games will be on major US networks.

I have big hopes for these two commercials. Nothing wrong with that.

PS:Hello to the few "sane" posters who are still around *waves* :-) Don't feel the need to post lately as it's futile. And to think I was once called a troll!
*Thinking of you Sue and hang in there;)

You are so right on, in what you have posted!! Loved your comment; makes so much sense, and I totally agree! You need to be in charge of Adam's future adds. Seriously I was thinking the same thing. Shady is absolutely perfect for this car add.

I just loved the little dogs at the beginning. Children and dog lover's everywhere will love it. Adam sounds so sexy as usually on Shady!

@11:42

Thank you very much. I really enjoyed that post. I guess that 11:41 wouldn't deem it as Adam news and it wouldn't have made his/her "highlight" reel, and I suppose 11:41 would be correct in all fairness, but I am glad I didn't skip your post 11:42, it was very illuminating and fair. Hope you come back to thread and get my thanks to you. :)

You MUST learn to condense.! You repeat the same phrases, the same points over and over. You could have just typed your last 8 lines. They said what you had used 20 or more lines to say above. I would just scroll past but you do make your point, no need to belabor it!
I love the English language as much as you obviously do, but give us a break. It's like knee deep wading.

All this. Only your opinion. Never forget that. And just let other fans have THEIR fun and THEIR opinions, k?!

Anonymous said...

12:33 that would be nice maybe they are getting their commercials ready for these events.

Did you ever think that the producers of these commercials might just be fans of Adam's VOICE, the tone and sound of it and then just picked their favorite tune?!?! You're being way too literal and serious. It's the created IMAGES & FEELINGS that sell, not logic and reasoning!

Love to read your long posts, it's like listening you speak and I like what you're saying, I like your "voice" (of course "your voice", how it "sounds", is the figment of my imagination, he he).
Keep on posting and being true to yourself, just like Adam.

Thanks so much for the link. Adam's Mom was beautiful then just as she's beautiful now. Like mother like son. :-)

WOW! Leila was and is gorgeous, and Adam looks so much like her, now more than in her high school days.

Referring to the headline of this and threads of similar nature...

Hoping some of you would finally get on board and develop a sense of Adam Fan Humour and lighten up a bit.
Don't know which fans have been the first ones to use all these nicknames, "terms of endearment"and other expressions in this fandom. These words should not be taken literally or seriously, like Hand porn. There pics, 'collages' of neck porn, too. And many others, I'm sure. There are "Dictonaries" fans have gathered of words, slogans, expressions used in this fandom. It's pure FUN, Adam fun. Often also Adam sexy fun. Not to be taken seriously.

I'm still puzzled why being an Adam fan is such a dead serious business for some?!?!

Regarding the use of the word "porn" to describe something we get a little excited or passionate about:

A friend of mine posted a little comment and some pictures of plants she observed on a hike in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains here in WA state, on her Facebook page yesterday. She said "..and now for a little Plant Porn..." meaning pictures of plants for those who love them.... Obviously, plants aren't pornographic, as far as I know :)) but they are one of her passions in life, she's a Master Gardener, and for her, plants are beautiful and exciting.. and as a result "plant porn"...

Thanks Glitzy...I always appreciate your explanations.
