This is great. I hope we'll see LMD on top Billboard's and ITunes. However, as I know they never mentioned Avicci's singers and co-writers. So, be honest, I don't care about LMD as single.
As I heard musician's make few $$$ for using their music in commercials. Hope Adam got his share!

Off topic: I noticed that many people are asking Adam why he is now capitalizing his name on twitter (they're saying it's almost like he is shouting). Doesn't bother me, but seems that some fans don't like his name written ADAM LAMBERT. They prefer Adam Lambert. Anyway, back to Hannibal!

LMD is awful. I hope this isn't Adam's direction for album 3.

The radio edit is a lot better than the iTunes version I bought, but the sound still is uneven. Too bad, I think it's a good song badly treated.

LMD is great. Hope we hear it on the radio in the U.S. Having it become a single could be a big deal. It would actually get radio play. Sure, Avicii's name will be mentioned first, but Adam's name will come up, too. And Adam has co-writing credits. Any $$$$ is better than nothing.

I don't care if Adam capitalizes his name or not.

It would be great if LMD could be re-recorded in the studio to make it really sharp and clear, the way it should be.

Who are these people who are "upset" about how his name is presented?? After all, it IS his name!!! (And a FINE name it is!!) Apparently they have nothing else even remotely important to think about or discuss.

Sorry, but good grief!!!!! Petty to the max....... IMHO...

I posted at 8:06 and forgot to sign. Anyway, even if you don't particularly like LMD, it's still important that Adam gets radio play. He needs it. Let's hope we hear it closer to home.

Adam will get writing credits. He has contracted with a company that manages his various royalties from songs he writes, has writing credits, etc..and he will certain be paid for usage of LMD in TV ads, etc.. They keep track of all of that for him and make sure he gets all he is due...

In my opinion, it would be fabulous if (and when... :)) Lay Me Down is released as a single, here in the US and in other countries..

Certainly Adam will get recognition from radio DJ's etc.. They know full well who is singing the vocals.. And he's already being acknowledged as the singer in LMD in Australia when the song is played there, which it has been this week.

It would be perfect timing (IMHO) for Lay Me Down to be released as a single. Adam touring with Queen this summer, his new music coming out later this year, a possible new single (of Adam's own new music) around the time the Queen tour begins (hoping, hoping.....)...

Lots of great things happening this year for Adam..and as a consequence for us fans!!!!

BTW, as an example, Aloe Blacc gained quite a bit of name recognition from his vocals on Wake Me Up.. People knew who sang it..even tho his name isn't one the album...

Does anybody know who is Aloe Blacc or Dan Tymiscki? I hope I spell their names correct. Aloe is Wake me up and Dan is Hey Brother singer. Did anybody mentioned their names, I have to correct myself, did anybody care about their names? All credits went to Avicci! And he is just DJ! So, nobody cares who sings LMD. This is song from Avicci album. I hope Adam will get his $$$ for commercial.

I never heard of Aloe Blacc before his collab with Avicii. He seems quite popular now interviews, new album, TV appearances. He liked the discovery. Some started calling Adam the LMD singer months ago.

Someone on twitter said they are only playing LMD on two stations in OZ. It is not officially a single yet and may never be.

The artist that sang WMU was a guest on dancing with the stars last time around and Avicii was not even mentioned. I have seen him on lots of shows; and never a mention of Avicii.

As an Adam fan and supporter; I am excited and pleased about every opportunity that he gets for his voice to be heard; big or small. Actually, every opportunity is a big deal.

It is rather strange to hear all the complaints and negativity coming from those that one would assume are fans posting on Adam's Blog Site. Adam seems to be very pleased with all the wonderful things that are happening to him; so how could his fans not be?

9:15, you don't understand what a DJ is in EMD music. Avicii writes music which counts even if it is electronic.

Also, ADAM M. LAMBERT can present his name any way that he wishes; it is his name! Let him shout it
from the roof top if he wishes!!

The people that are complaining about the way Adam wishes to present his name on his own site; are the same people that would complain no matter what this wonderful man does. If they don't like it; tell them to put cotton in their ears; that should help muffle the sound. Unbelievable!!!!!

7:28pm I don't know if you have Adam's albums or not!? If you do, you'll notice his name is in all caps on both of his albums. It's his registered trade business name. Like DOLCE & GABBANA, CHANEL, etc.

Law firms have their names in all caps.

I would suggest to those people on twitter that are so concerned about Adam Lambert now presenting his name as ADAM LAMBERT; that there are so many more important things to be concerned about, than the way an entertainer presents his name on his own twitter account. Oh, like maybe World Hunger!!!

Loved Nancy Sinatra's tweet. Thanks for posting it here. She is such a supporter of Adam's and seems so fond of him.

I think she enjoys the exchange with his fans also; she is such a Glambert!! After all; she proudly says her married name is Lambert, if I am not mistaken.

Lots of people on twitter do their name in all caps. No big deal. I can't believe anybody really complained.

That's because aloe blacc recorded an acoustic version of wake me up under his own name which was released by interscope as a single.

Aloe Blacc sang Wake Me Up in DWTS last season and he was good.
And he was quite a good mentor on The Voice with Levine's team.
Though I didn't appreciate that he gave his own composition to be sung on the battle of two singers which was not fit for the other who I prefer.
But I respect his mentoring.
I also enjoyed David cook's mentoring on Idol, I think he was amazing on the job.

The Avicii/Aloe Blac collaboration on Wake Me Up certainly raised Blac's profile. His own single The Man is currently number 1 on the UK Top 40.

Truth is after WMU, i have a great interest in Aloe Blacc ( hope m correct). He is a terrific singer.
LMD might have been a great song, it seems rushed tbh..unlike hey brother and WMU..I got it because of my Loyalty to Adam, thats all.

Adam will surely get name recognition from LMD. Unlike aloe before WMU, lots of people at least know Adam's name, even if they're not real fans. aloe certainly reaped the benefits of WMU becoming a single. If LMD becomes one, hopefully the same will happen for Adam.

The OZ stations that are playing LMD may be few in number, but they seem to be in very large markets. So many here seem to love taking quite good news and twisting it around to become something less. Where's the pleasure in that?

When you write letters or emails or comments, writing in caps is to emphasize a point of view. But a trade name in caps is just a business name. A lot of businesses have their name in caps.

Good for him. Happy for Adam too; with his great talents and wonderful management team. So many great things are happening for ADAM LAMBERT and many more great things to come. This is turning out to be a very good year full of surprises just as Adam said!!!!

People have known pretty much since Adam moved in, exactly where his condo is, when Kelly Osbourne spilled the beans, and mentioned her "new neighbor" Adam Lambert, early on. Apparently a fair amount of celebs live there, no different than MANY condo/apt. buildings in LA (it's Hollywood after all, they have to live SOMEWHERE), and the paparazzi & media, not to mention fans of various stars, find these things out.. I would assume there is plenty of security....

The only thing that I DO find kind of interesting is that Adam is still living there... Because we heard he's "given up his lease" from some source or another. It may be that it's just that his lease has expired, and he's renting month to month.. Happens all the time, Sounds like he's house hunting too.... Not that it really matters one way or the other.. It's just fun to hear that he's back home, which must feel pretty good after being gone for 2 months...

There's little room for debate that Aloe benefitted by having his vocal used by Avicii, and Adam will benefit obviously too, a win/win. Aloe will still have an uphill climb as any breaking artist does. I heard Andy Grammar's Fine By Me the other day on the radio and it got me to thinking about where he has been. I loved his two hits but I don't follow him, maybe he's working on new music... I only mention him because he strikes me as a good example of somebody who can have two big radio hits, but still it is a grind to stay in the public consciousness. Touring is important, radio station appearances, blah blah blah, the grind. So, I would say that Adam is doing pretty well and has had some pretty high profile nods lately. Exciting stuff. :)

I know Andy Grammer and his family. They have tons of industry connection. He is very talented. His father is Grammy winner and he is working on new music.

Aloe Blacc has a new album out ("Lift Your Spirit"), and to be honest, I wouldn't have known who he was if it weren't for this inclusion and the big hit from the Avicii album.

I haven't bought his album so far, but I've checked it out on iTunes, listened to some snippets, and have seen it prominently displayed at Target... I wouldn't have probably given it a second look if it hadn't been for Avicii, TRUE, and "Wake Me Up".. I would suspect Mr. Blacc is very very happy he was included on Avicii's album. Because it really gave him a big boost. And yes, there's an acoustic version of "Wake Me Up" on his own album. But the one we hear all the time is the one from TRUE...

Aloe and adam are in completely different situations so its pointless to compare them. He was an unknown who got noticed because wake me up was a huge smash, got signed by a major label then major promotion.

Adam is not an unknown, already had major promo by a major label that was not successful and was dropped. No one is gong to sign him because he sang on an avicii song, even if it does someday become a single.

Answer: probably just trying to make it any way he could like thousands of other singers. He got his lucky break, and that's great for him. The business is all timing and luck with a little bit of talent thrown in. We all know that the most talented are not always at the top and that many lesser talents are at the top a lot.

So nice and supportive of you to predict that LMD will not help Adam get signed. He might be signed already. You know no more than the rest of us.

Aloe got his break and he will succeed if his solo material catches on. Adam got his break five years ago and didnt succeed as a mainstream artist. You don't get a second chance to be the new kid on the block.

There's a certain advantage to being in an actual band. If that's what Adam had done, maybe his path would be different. A whole band kind of gives you a buffer. Going solo definitely has risks.
