Hey Adam...That's pretty sound advice regarding, keep your eyes on the prize but the prize was snatched from under your nose! lwl!...no intention of mischief here. lol!
Just saw that beautiful picture of Adam pondering over a document, so executive-like...yes always in control and not let kaypohs run all over you...perhaps this might go hand-in-hand with above given advice.

The prize wasn't snatched it was just awarded to someone else.

That was Madonna's advice given to Adam when he dropped by with his guitarist at her place then.
And that's exactly what Madonna has been doing rich up until now, she just won't give up.

And why should she!
She's one of the sharpest in the rough music business (maybe a ruthless bitch, too lol). I'll raise my glass to her anytime!

This from shoshanna. The conversation was not about Avicii, but I assume it applies also LMD.

@judadam @Joyce_Chatt don't concern urselves with that-the music business doesn't work like that. Artists rarely ever make money from music

The conversation with Shoshanna was about a rumored "best of Adam Lambert" record release via Amazon.

The convo:

@shoshannastone Will Adam benefit from this financially? Don't want Amazon 2 get all the credit 4 his work. Is he backing this?

shoshanna stone ‏@shoshannastone 1h
@Joyce_Chatt it doesn't work like that.

Judy Lushman ‏@judadam 54m
@shoshannastone @Joyce_Chatt Sony has a right to release his mujsic. I think the fandom is concerned about Adam receiving compensation.

@mimmikki @SaweetMaryC @judadam @Joyce_Chatt there isn't anything right or wrong about a label releasing music they own.

Marianne ‏@mimmikki 10m
@shoshannastone @SaweetMaryC @judadam @Joyce_Chatt Ok that is kinda sad...I am prob that child hearted that I thought different for artists

@mimmikki @SaweetMaryC @judadam @Joyce_Chatt just the ey it works. Artists make money elsewhere

Nothing was snatched from Adam. He was the winner, he just didn't get the title, but has fulfilled what American Idol was looking for all the time. He is the best and still is. Simon himself stated Adam was what the show was looking for.

Even though Adam and a number of other former contestants did not win Idol, they still have some degree of recognition and success in the music business. And with those who have won, some have not reached superstardom that they perhaps had hoped to achieve. Idol offered Adam a platform for the viewing audience to see who he was and to listen to him perform each week in a way no other contestant has before or since then. If it weren't for Idol, we would probably not have listened to one of the best vocal talents in music today. I don't think Adam regrets not winning. He has done quite well without that title and how many poeple remember Kris Allen? I do and he is a nice guy, but Adam caught my attention from the first note he sang and I have been a loyal fan ever since.
