Adam treated Kurt like his little brother. I thought it was really cute! Adam sure can act no doubt it now.

Good-bye Elliott
Mmm if only I had a neighbour so considerate
Who walks in with coffee and a bag of cookies
And says...I got you these...
So Elliott is leaving...so soon?
Perhaps he's got a lot to tend to
Like jump over the moon with the cow and the spoon
Trying to downplay my disappointment
Anyway, sometimes we just need to live for the moment
I feel Adam will make a musical movie some day
As we can see, how superbly he adapted to the Glee foray
Bye-bye Elliott, come back soon
You were so caring, like the way you offered your room
I like that scene of you sleeping on the couch
And Rachael kissed you good-night
Your expression was so real; like your genuine self
Always thinking of the other person first
That's a trait I admire a lot
Because it's not easy at all, even in thought
Also, I sense you are somewhat attracted to Chris
Mmm, perhaps someday in a far-off place of bliss
I hate good-byes, even to a fictitious character
With heavy heart, I say, fare thee well Starchild!

Adam was great on Glee. Hope they bring his character back.

1) Adam's Starchild/MTN is one cut above the other Glee performances.
2) Lea's Yesterday comes in very close on its heels due to its authentic circumstance, beautiful singing.
3) Gloria...cohesive singing, and acting...Adam, Lea, Naya
4) Rockstar...Adam, Chris, chemistry
5) Guitar shop / pole song/performance...Adam, Chris, cohesive rock sound, voices

Been giving Rockstar lots of spins. Just a thought about Elliot's character. Adam has said in interviews that if he wasn't a singer, he would probably have gone into psychology or something like that. He says that his friends, etc., have always come to him for advice, etc. So, Elliot is really very close to Adam as a real person.

So many great links. Thanks!

Joaquin Sedillo said the shows are scripted.

Apparently, though, that last little bit with Elliott and Blaine was ad-libbed. The part at the end where they're jamming the lyrics about Elliott, etc. The rest was scripted, though.

I will happily hope for another appearance by Elliot of Glee, simply because I feel the character added a lot to the show (his character was a "device" for sure, plotdriven and utilized to advance storylines of original characters no doubt) but I truly believe that the Elliot character quickly became an addition to the show that other viewers & Gleeks, non-Adam fans, want to see again before the show's end.

(btw, as someone who has followed and watched every single minute of Glee since its first episode, I will submit to you all that although MTN was phenomenal, it is one among many, many stellar performances in the show's history. Not all "production numbers" on the show worked, and many were just good, but when considering Glee's run in total, MTN is in good company with many awesome performances. My POV.

Am I alone in not having seen any sexual chemistry between the Elliott and Kurt characters? Zip. - Nada. - Zero. !

If anything, a big brother, little brother kind of relationship.

Anonymous said...

7:30, the chemistry was all about a kinship or connection that we have with another when we bond because of the fun, kindred soul-sharing, like when we duet, pole-dance, body-surf. Not all chemistry is sexual, which Elliot makes clear with Blaine.

Adam must have loved the body-surfing - every rock-star's dream! very cool.
But I don't think he will try it with Glamberts in the audience ... he would disappear!! or be carried away!

Well those are just the kind of boys adam likes to fuck, so that works out perfectly!!

Lmao at you being serious about this ridiculous show.

Adam/Elliot warms the cockles of my heart. Why am I thinking they're one and the same? Gotta focus. One is a real live person, the other just a tv character. Great acting if there's no similarity. Seriously though, Elliot is such a perfect display of human interaction. He could teach us a lot about how to assert oneself (the Gloria sequence where he speaks his mind about the drama and Kurt's enabling), defuse anger (calms a jealous Blaine),
flirt innocently (hugs with Kurt), be chivalrous (give up bed for Santana), rock the songs (and move gorgeously with every note). Sound a bit like the "Idol Camp Counselor" self-assured Rock Star AFL much. BTW, Kurt goo-goo eyeing Elliot was very believable.

@8:48 AM

I heard that; your post was so cute and so true. I cracked up. Thanks for the laugh. I just pictured Adam being carried on out the door by overly enthusiastic fans; with his gorgeous self!! So funny!

Body surfing is what you do in water waves. Crowd surfing is when the crowd supports you and passes you along above themselves.

I got a feeling Adam will appear on the show again.

ADMIN: either start deleting the vulgar sexual comments like the one at 8:49 AM or I am done coming to this site!

@9:37 AM

I agree with you; Adam is such a natural when he acts; the same kind thoughtful person that he probably is in person. He did say once in an interview, that people seem to always find him someone that they could trust to confide in.

I could see why, he just seems like he is so understanding. It comes across in his acting! Such a beautiful young man with a great spirit. What a great friend he would be; if a person is fortunate enough to have him.

Actually i also saw some chemistry between Elliott and kurt. I thought for sure that Elliott was going to kiss Kurt after he put his arm around his shoulders....and i said to myself NO!!!

It would of totally ruined that moment of what i thought should be a friendship and brotherhood gesture...i'm glad the show didn't go down that path.

@10:30 AM

Why let he or she chase you away?
That is what he or she wants; I would just ignore them myself; that is what he or she would hate the most in my opinion; because attention is what they are seeking in a bad way. Of course; you must follow your own mind!

You have quite the fantasy boyfriend!!!

I read where the comments of many of the Glee fans; and they have becoming fans of Adams, and are pleading for Adam to stay on the show. They have gotten attached to Elliot/Star child; and don't want to let him go!

I agree with you; Adam is such a natural. I would love to see him on my TV at least once a week; but the world calls our Super Star. Adam has so many great talents. Hope to see him in more Glee performance when time permits.

@8:03 AM

I agree with you 100%; you are so right on, in your insightful remarks, about the interaction between the Elliot and Curt character; in my opinion.

I just love the Rock Star song from Glee. Adam and Chris did such a great job. Adam's unique voice was out of this world as usual; can't stop listening!!

Lam-may/4:15 AM

I agree with your five choices.

I would add all of Adam's speaking parts while interacting with the rest of the Glee cast.

I will really miss Adam on Glee! I doubt that I will want to keep up with the story line unless Adam comes back on the show. He was so good and sang so great! I think I loved the TRIO show the most although all of Adam's performances were great! My favorite - Gloria. All the cast was great and Adam was spectacular and so adorable in it!
I was watching the RuPaul show on Demand when Adam was judging. Adam is so much fun to watch - so genuine and such a sweetheart!
Today also watched last night's Idol and to my delight Alison Irihata (can't spell) was on the show as a back-up singer of sorts.
She was great - JLO seems to really like her - and looked so beautiful and cute at the same time! Ryan asked her what season of Idol she was on and she acted like she forgot. No way she would forget Season 8 with Adam Lambert!

p.s...being laid-off allows for a lot of tv time.hahah

I will miss Adam on Glee. However, it's comforting to know that even better things lie ahead of him this year. Can't wait to take it all in.

If Adam will have a chance to appear as a guest again, I will cheer from the top of my lungs!

Doubt that was the end... 'Knowing Elliott' (he he) he would have said something, farewell or left a note... To be continued...
