Still don't understand why she was invited to Jazz Fest. So odd.

Xtina indeed has a female powerhouse voice equal to Adam's male chops. They would make a fantastic pair in a duet. Some of us have long wondered why more top singers haven't done duets with Adam. His vocals are universally acknowledged. He needs a big name singer to break through and sing with him and open the gates. This is just one more puzzlement about Adam's progress. Maybe the Queen tour will give him even more cred (as if he needs more) and he'll become more valuable as a duet partner. I just want him to find more opportunities to sing in all capacities. As crazy asit sounds, to many people, he's still an unknown talent.

I agree that I would love to see Adam and Christina perform a duet together. If she can sing with Blake Shelton, a country artist, Adam and Christina would give a powerhouse performance of anything they sang together.

Duets aren't that common. I can't figure out why people keep expecting Adam to do them.

I don't think Adam needs a duet to "breakthrough." He already has. Adam continues to have opportunities and move forward.

Some people seem to be more concerned with wanting Adam to have immediate and meteoric fame and less concerned with the reality of music business and what Adam's goals might be.

Adam obviously tried and failed to get someone to duet with him on trespassing in an attempt to get radio on his side. Then they resorted to getting the Bruno mars song but that didnt work either.

It's quite silly to try and pretend that adam didn't want bigger success or that it's a good thing he was dropped by his label. The problem is a successful artist is only going to work with other successful artists. They don't want to put their name on something that is likely to fail

Adam has a duet Shady on his TP album with Sam and it was used in a Kia commercial in Korea.

Sam is doing backup vocals. That is not a duet. And sam is not someone who is going to get him radio play

May be she doesn't consider Adam a big enough star, to sing with her. She may be one of those closed minds that still say that Adam is just an up-start from Idol. As cruel as that is, there are still a lot of people out there that think that way. There is a name for those people "IGNORANT"
She might change her mind when she realizes who Adam is singing with on his summer tour this year.
But on the other hand that might not impress her at all, she will probably say, is that all he can do is to sing with some old band, she probably never heard of Queen. She is young and never listened to Queen music. She might learn something when she hears the promos.

If anyone doesn't want to be negative, it's me. I'm very positive just about all of the time. Just want Adam to have every opportunity to succeed and become the major star that he deserves to be. And to get the respect he deserves as well.

It would be great if one of the female singers mentioned in these comments wanted to do a collabo with Adam. And Adam did mention that he would like to sing with Xtina. That would be some powerhouse combination. Of course, we all want to hear Adam's stellar voice on its own, but if it gets radio play, then why not a collabo?
