The article came from Australia, so of course they'll focus on Australia, but at this point it's anyone's guess what they are hinting at.. :)))

As long as it doesn't take him away from his new music.

Byron Cooke pretty much said it to fans in subsequent tweets with his little thumbs up signs and all. And it was the DJS who knew about the US tour first. He def acts like he has the scoop.

Apparently they were in South Africa about ten years ago so it's not that.

Of course it will extend the time away from his new album, but it will be worth it. This is still huge for Adam to be singing with Queen. Let him glory in it all, this is a once in a life time thing.

Very exciting news for their Fans!!!

9:10, I'm sure Adam doesn't want to trade his solo career for this likely last tour with Queen ( which is now a twice in a lifetime thing.) I hope whatever is being added to the tour isn't very much because the majority of the Queen audience isn't the same audience for his solo pop career.

Adam needs to make money wherever he can. That's the bottom line.

9:43 yep and the Queen fans aren't going to buy Adam's solo music.

I think you might be wrong there. At least half of the people coming to the concerts want to hear Adam sing, it's just the cherry on top to hear him sing with Queen. The other half of the people are Queen fans, who will hopefully become as enamored with Adam as we were during Idol. In both cases I think it will boost his album sales, IF he gets his album out fast enough.

His album won't be out this year. Adam already confirmed that. He said he hopes to have a single out by years end. But I don't see that happening.

I haven't heard him confirm anything about when his album will be out. He never confirms stuff like that. You are going by rumors that are hot and heavy about his album. We don't even know if he finished his album in Sweden, and just putting some finishing touches to it.

Just to add to this discussion, I have to say that a certain percentage of the people who will be going to the Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are fans of both... Like for instance, me.. :)) And there will be a lot more fans of both as they leave the arena, than there were when they walked in the door before the show.. It happens every time Queen and Adam do a concert together... Some walk in as skeptics re Adam, and leave as fully smitten fans....

I would also caution anyone who is making assumptions/statements about Queen fans, to realize that they have not only some fans (more than a few..) who are solely focused on Queen music, but there are many who will attend the concerts who are fans of music in general. Queen music is legendary, iconic, and is still heard today in a wide range of places and applications. They have younger fans too.. And fans who appreciate good music of any type.. Again, that would be me, for instance...

And I wouldn't rule out the very real possibility that those who go primarily to see Queen this summer will be intrigued and impressed enough with Adam Lambert and his stellar vocals, that they will check out his music after the concerts, his music both past and future.. One live concert experience with Adam singing and you're hooked...

Don't forget that the iHeart Music Festival in Las Vegas last fall is what finally got this Summer Concert Tour ball rolling. The interest it generated was massive enough for Queen to go ahead with the Tour. And I suspect that at least some of the enthusiasm generated from that was because Adam was so darn good at what he does.. Queen is one amazing set of music with outstanding musicians.. And Adam is the man who can sing the music and do it justice...

So..."Never say never" applies here.. :))

His management knows more than bunch of lonely bordem anons about how to handle Adam's career. If you are surfing through every single fansite to get reactions from fans, find yourself a different path in your life, cause it ain't working. It only makes you look bad and unhealthy.

Adam Lambert is rocking it every single year in his career path. He is a multi-faceted talented superstar.

If Adam cannot get a single out this year, as you say, then he is a liar, saying he is working on his album since last year. It doesn't take almost 2 years to get out a single. I think you are wrong, I believe his album is either finished or near to being finished, and will be out by Oct. or Nov.

Adam should make this Queen opportunity pay of as much as possible. As glitzy said, the thousands who will be attending the tour shows will most likely be Adam fans when they leave, whether they walked in as Adam fans or not. He cannot be denied by anyone who has any sense of musical talent. What a legacy for Adam to cherish. I think it will pay off in the long run.

People have clambering for Adam and for Queen all over the world to put out a concert. Now what could be better than to hear them together in concert. I wonder why at all the venues they were all almost sold out the first day. I seriously think Adam slowed down his new album, because he has known since the I-heart Las Vegas response, that Queen was seriously planning concerts with Adam. It would be silly for Adam to release his album until after the Queen concerts.

@12:03 PM Well said!

@10:59 AM Take a long hike.

@12:10
Who is 12:03 PM?

I guess Brian and Roger might do the Australian tour as long as they are up to it physically. I know that Brian had problems with his knees and I think he had surgery some time back for that. This might be the last chance for them to perform with Adam hopefully because Adam will have a new album out later this year or early in 2015. This is a great opportunity for Adam and he should take advantage of it. It is a once in a lifetime experience and so exciting for all those able to go to one of the summer concert shows here in the US.

Glitzy how does the material for Adam Lambert's Google
alert Emails get picked from this site. I opened a google alert and 9:55 comment was there. It's a shame a troll comment would be on the internet associated with a fan site. Just thought you might have a guess and thanks if you do.

I have a feeling that Adam's Album is complete and he and his new label or distributor; or whatever means he is using in getting it out; and management is waiting for the most effective time for release; sometimes after Queenbert; which may go on all year the way things are looking!! That means the money will keep rolling in for Adam. That will be fantastic; and the whole world will see our man!!

Good question and to be honest I had to look up some info.. This may explain a little bit about it:

Google describes its news alerts briefly:

"Google News Alerts are emails automatically sent to you when there are new Google News results for your search terms.
While it's not impossible to get a website page listed in Google Alerts if it's newsworthy, most of the listings you'll find within the Alerts are blog posts. Why? Because Google sees frequently updated blogs as more newsworthy than static websites."

And:

"So there are two requirements: First, that Google considers your site or blog newsworthy and has included it in its index as such, and secondly, that your site (page) ranks in the top 10 for the term when they conduct a search that day."

Interesting.......

I've sometimes run across random quotes from myself @glitzylady in places where I've never posted anything.. There are websites that do that..
so you just never know.. usually it involves specific key words.. But not sure why that comment showed up... :/

Thanks again Glitzy.

If the trolls were blocked or their comments were deleted they wouldn't be showing up in Google alerts.
