Only one negative comment about Adam not being Freddie. Of course not! Why do some of the Queen fans keep saying this? I am a huge Queen fan, but love Adam better than anyone ever!!!

JAK here....that comment simply baffles me...."he's no Freddie" I find myself wanting to be rude and reply "Freddie's dead." Which, of course, I wouldn't ever do, it would be rude, plus the fact that when Freddie died I cried like a baby! I was a Queen fan from their early days and I thought Freddie was phenomenal. He never stopped moving, he paced the stage like a tiger or sashayed like a diva. He was walking, talking drama. He was a "show".

I find myself wanting to ask Queen fans who won't let go,
"Would you have wanted Brian, John and Roger to be cremated with Freddie?"
They had to live on...."should they have been forbidden to ever play for another frontman? Put down their instruments forever....not be allowed to find joy in a young man with a great voice and a charming, playful nature and feel young again and feel excitement again?"

Adam is not being presented as another Freddie, as a Freddie the Second....he's being presented as Adam the First.

I'm a huge Queen fan and a huge Adam fan. It's not a competition.

I know...I cannot, for the life of me, understand the comment - "he's no Freddie", "they should have retired cause no one can replace Freddie", "Brian and Roger are just doing it for the money", etc... I get so infuriated..it is hard to hold my tongue..the most difficult thing to try to understand is - why do they even care..or better yet, why do they insist on raining on our parade???? I've listened to Queen with Freddie, and while I admit, the man was good...my heart belongs to Adam..who is far more attractive and has a great personality - not to mention a killer voice..I prefer the sound of Adam's voice to that of Freddie..that is just my opinion - not knocking Freddie, who has been dead for over 20 yrs..these naysayers really do just need to let it go..

Naysayers on BOTH sides need to let it go. Why do people have to keep saying Adam is better than Freddie or Freddie is better than Adam. People aren't going to agree so for heaven's sake, leave it alone!! It makes it unpleasant for all concerned. If people prefer Adam, so be it and if people prefer Freddie, so be that too. Trying to change others' minds is a fruitless exercise. I'll be glad when Adam returns to his solo career so we can all concentrate on that instead of this needless nastiness on both sides.

For a while, I would post my Adam-supportive, somewhat defensive comments on those article sites. I was never rude, but I tried to make my point. Those stuck-in-the-past Freddie worshipers simply will not let go and open their eyes and hearts. They feel that anyone else fronting for Queen is somehow diminishing Freddie's legacy. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The vast majority of Adam fans love Freddie and his music. I finally gave up and I don't post on those sites anymore. I usually skip the comments section because it's always the same old thing. Bash Adam and say that Brian and Roger shouldn't even be performing anymore. All nonsense. I've managed to keep my blood pressure down by staying away! Loving and admiring Adam is quite enough, thank you.

Freddie, in all his majesty must be looking down right now rejoicing watching Brian and Roger rock the blazes again after all these years!...and how proud he must be of Adam singing the hell out of he's songs with such magnificence and glory! All hail ADAM!

Freddie and Adam are two of the
most commanding entertainers I've EVER witnessed in my life! Both unique and yet both stunning to the max. I feel honored to have seen them both.

There's nothing to be upset about. All the comments are positive. Someone said Adam's not Freddie - obviously - but it isn't the first time that's been said and it won't be the last time.
