Adam Lambert's voice is worth a cool $30mill
Adam Lambert’s American tour with Queen, performing as their frontman, is going so well that the singer, 32, has had to insure his voice.
So valuable are his vocals that Adam has them insured for a cool £30 million. Wow.
Brit rocker Brian May, 67, is currently “looking into” whether the tour can be brought to the UK in the near-future.

Curious, as to whether this insurance is to cover Adam while he is singing with Queen. They all stand to lose a lot of money if he is sick, or his vocals are injured. I understood he already had over 40 million in insurance on his voice. This new insurance might be just while he is with Queen touring. Much as Queen loves him, they don't want to have to return money to people who have already bought tickets. This is purely a business deal, that covers not only Adam, but Queen as well, for loss of work. I suspect Roger and Brian have similar insurance, if they cannot play, it affects the three men equally. Without all three of them there is no Queen performance. It shows how highly Queen thinks of Adam, without him, they might as well retire, because there is no other Adam, which I think would be the end of Queen, except for the legacy they have leave behind.

Yeah, @Anne -- not sure if this is new or The Mirror is just rehashing old news for the purpose of sensationalism as this was first reported back in 2012. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/15/adam-lambert-insures-voice_n_1967831.html

It would make sense to insure his voice, with Lloyds of London as he did before. His voice is his bread and butter. If he lost it for some reason, even temporarily he would be lost.. His happy place is on stage, he has a gift, and what he was trained for all his life. He stands to make that kind of money, by his singing. This is not an unusual thing to do for a celebrity. BTY it was 30 million pounds not dollars. It could possibly be a rehash of what he had already done, as you say. Either way, I am glad he did it, if this is not just another rumor. He would be a damned fool not to.

think this is not new, just a rehash of old news with the Queen info added.

Please, if you have no real proof, insurance papers etc, do not draw too many conclusions based on a less than accurate story. Some here think wayyyyy too much.... ;)
