Oh, how the tables have turned for Adam Lambert … literally. The 2009 American Idol runner-up to Kris Allen will be seated on the other side off the judges’ panel for the New York auditions in the upcoming Season 14. The “If I Had You” singer will judge the Idol hopefuls alongside permanent judges Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr. as the stand-in for Keith Urban as he mourns his father-in-law’s death with wife Nicole Kidman in Australia. Last season, Adam served as the guest mentor during Randy Jackson’s boot-camp workshop. During the New York auditions on Tuesday, Adam, JLo, and Harry took to social media to show their excitement about the talent … and for each other.
