Queen, Adam Lambert Announce Massive International Tour!

Adam Lambert continues to give Queen new life.
The former American Idol star is once again teaming up with the late Freddie Mercury's band to bring "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Killer Queen" to a new generation of fans via a European tour.
"He's sensational," drummer Roger Taylor said in a statement on the band's website. "He has this amazing range, 'cause Freddie had a great range. Adam can really cover it. He's an extraordinary singer and a real talent. I feel he fits into our sort of theatricality. It is very comfortable."
Guitarist Brian May also had some kind words.
"Each time we've worked with Adam with our music, he's just the most incredible frontman," May said.
And as for the production?
"We have a very interesting set design," May said. "It's big and daring. We're going to do it to the max."
Lambert said this tour will set itself apart from the one they embarked on in 2012.
"On the technical side, it's definitely more of a production than two years ago," he said. "We've had a lot more cities to visit, and so I think we all decided to build up the visuals and the stage accordingly, and of course we do all the hits."

JAK I think he was talking about the original European concerts in 2012 not the 2014 ones. Do you think?
JAK, I thought the same thing. I don't think these comments are about the tour coming up now.
I'm rather fond of the Q. I like the close ups being shown in them. The videos we get are often from waaaay back.
Teensy Adams are good but huge Adams are great!
I hope the Q stays, it's one of the best looking, effective yet 'simple' stage "accoutrements" (sp & LOL!) evah and also 'the most useful' in big venues and vids (the fantastic close ups!!!) - plus the whole set up with lightings, lasers etc. Simply BRILLIANT!!!
I assume the quotes were from earlier in the year before the Summer Tour... I can't imagine that they would not use the same stage set etc...
