He was around 22, 23 years old. Adam has been with the theatre all his life since 10. That's why I call him theatre Sifu...internalised, he, himself is walking, talking real life theatre, no need even for a stage. I bet if he simply stands at any street corner and does theatre, that corner will become his stage. Plus, he's vey adept at using simple mundane props, like just a stool; perhaps at the street corner, a trash-bin or the traffic light. lol! So I have to fall back on Shakespeare again..."All the world's a stage...", so true for Adam in a more literal sense.

Simon put it rather strangely on S8...when someone said Adam's performance was a bit theatrical. Simon then butted in curtly that it was like telling the cow not to moo...lol! And that made Adam burst out laughing.

I would love to see some video of him acting in these early roles. Doesn't seem to be much out there. What a doll!

Lam-My, It was funny that at the audition Simon thought Adam was too theatrical. But I guess he got used to it and decided that being theatrical was just part of Adam, and it was OK.

Anne Marie.....Yea you got that right; which could mean Simon resigned to the fact Adam isn't going to change to fit into his "not current" critique at the audition. lol!

Yes Simon Flipped flopped on that remark from audition
I also saw Simon on a talk show where he said Adam was the winner that year.

So incredibly handsome Adam is here, by any standards - conventional, traditional, or otherwise! So darn good looking!

Yes I remember that, he was asked who should be the winner, as he was walking away, and you could just hear him say "Adam" I have often wondered how deep down that hurt Adam, he has always said he got what he wanted, which was a platform to be heard. But what else could he say, of course , in my opinion he must have been deeply disappointed. But as they say, he got the last laugh. He said in an interview that he likes to be on top, well he is on top. It was really funny when he said it, because he meant something else. But he did turn out to be the winner , in spite of what ever happened with the voting. In spite of everything he still considers Kris one of his good friends.
