Yea, I said that in different words...WWTLF belongs solely to Adam; Brian's gift to him. Brian wouldn't have dreamt it would take 40 years for his song and Adam to blow his mind. It's quite obvious how Brian was so taken in especially after the last note; in the I-Heart version where Adam took the highest note; I could feel his whole being vibrating. The subsequent versions were just as powerful but in that one, Brian simply dropped his hand from his guitar after that terrible last note. lwl! I use 'terrible' to emphasise how difficult it was.
