Some good powerful potential voices but 'Feeling Good' somehow belongs to Adam. They seem to have tweaked their sound system. I like the transparent sound.

Regarding the other artists mentioned; their fans can call it their connection, on their fan sites; get it???

Why would anyone make a thing about Adam Lambert being singled out on a fan blog about him? I just don't get it???

I would not even put Nina Simone with the others mentioned; she was the master of that song in my opinion; oh so beautiful! I think she was the model that all tried to follow!

I've always loved Adam's live performance of "Feeling Good" on AI but for the first time last night, I listened to his Studio Recording of it and it blew me away! It's incredible! Then, to compare, I listened to several other artists' cover of it too including JHUD, Muse, Michael Buble,Nina Simon etc. and, IMO, There's just no other voice that comes close to Adam's vocal ability. His range, breath control, vocal acrobatics, emotionality......simply amazing<333

About the others who have covered it: Doesn't really matter to me who else has covered it... :)))) Interesting but not really relevant to THIS particular thread topic...... (I once saw a FG cover by David Hasselhoff...okay and all, but somewhat painful after hearing Adam's version..but that's just me....)

Adam sang it on Idol (beautifully), and this new vid is from this season of Idol. This is an Adam Lambert fan blog.. hence the "Adam connection" notation... Makes sense to me...

And as Adam himself is fond of saying: "It's not that deep."

As to why Admin Fan added the explanation: perhaps there are new fans who aren't aware that Adam sang "Feelin' Good" on Idol...It's nice to have some "context"...

Loved Nina Simone's version of the song too; agree with poster above, just so beautiful. Never heard another I loved so much until I heard Adam Lambert's version!!

You can see who the poster/s @7:07 & 7:09 are. Sometimes can't help but wondering why bother answering? This type of posters don't appreciate this site, nor contribute in any constructive way. Always something unappreciative, demeaning, belittling or undermaining Adam, this site, Admin/Admin Helpers or other commenters' posts. Often their type of comments are obnoxious and very inconsiderate of new fans or fans who "don't dwell on Adam blogs 24/7"... @Glitzylady, you truly are a saint here, tolerant, patient and always helping. Could not do it. Imo some posts in almost every thread deserve to be deleted, including some of mine, lol.

My opinion ... say what you will ... ADAM "KILLED" it on AI8 .... just the descent down those stairs in that white suit ... chills! And when he threw out that GLORY NOTE ... goosebumps over my entire body! Yeah!! those others did a good job on the song but .... ADAM's rendition ... OUTSTANDING!! INCOMPARABLE!!
