Screen caps of the Queen + Adam Lambert Tour Program 2015
Adam Lambert with Queen in Newcastle 1-13-15
(sorry, I don't know who to credit for this pic..yet)
At the end of the paragraph describing Adam Lambert's career highlights, there is this sentence:
"He is currently writing and recording for his third album, for release this summer."
Or is that summer-"ish" :)) Anyway, maybe we have a **season** for release, if not a specific date! (and please please please!!, a new single "soon"ish!! After the QAL Tour ends of course..)

Summer? Ish? That's surprising. May be more Queen concerts in between and hopefully a single?
Single in Feb and album in June! And Adam's full time attention his solo work.
When Adam tells us when it will be released. I adore Queen but I'm really looking forward to Adam singing his own songs again.
Wow,,!!!!,, Great reviews out there, They love him! enjoyed the one from the chronicle. A standing ovation!
We'll be told when it's ready.
It seems that most performers release the first single from their latest album long before the actual date of the album release. Sometimes it is even "leaked" by someone before the actual official release. I hope we get to hear the first single from Adam's new album soon. I love all that we see and hear from the Queen tour, but I want to hear Adam singing his own songs.
I decided not to anguish over the timing of A3. We have no say in the matter. Adam is riding high with Queen aka "The Gift That Keeps On Giving." The QAL fans will not forget Adam when it comes to A3. He has left a lasting impression. Ironically, the hardest nut to crack, IMO, is the good ol' USA. I have to believe that Adam's management is going to try to time the release of an A3 single and the album itself at the most opportune time.
Doubtful
I hope we get to hear some new Adam music soon. Patiently waiting and enjoying Queen in the meantime.
I doubt many Queen fans will be buying Adam's new album. It's just two entirely different kinds of audiences. I think he has a better chance with the NYE show viewers than Queen fans.
Many Queen fans have become interested in Adam's music with the exposure he's been getting last year and now this year again touring with Queen.
The interesting thing about the bit of info posted in the tour book is that it MAY give us a hint toward a time frame for the actual album, which I thought was intriguing. I expect to see a single release early this spring, but we'll see!
I have to admit I don't see Queen fans as being the market for Adam's next album but I do think the name recognition he is gaining is great.
I am enjoying Adam's glory moments with Queen right now - something many of us have craved - so I won't complain about his own music being pushed off due to that. Adam will release new music when the time is right. All good for me :)
After the NYE show, Amazon UK sold out of Adam's solo albums within 24 hours. Stock has been replenished, so they are again available.
I am of course excited for Era 3 but I also hate to see QAL end as it is the perfect showcase for Adam. I want it all!!!
I was at Newcastle last night it was simply magical. A very diverse audience ranging from Queen fans in their 60s to young people. It was packed out, there was not a seat or any standing room anywhere and the Metro Arena has a capacity of 9,000. It was due to start at 8 but they didn't actually come on until half past by which time the atmosphere was electric in it's anticipation. Adam was wonderful. There were quite a few occasions when he went off stage and Brian and Roger took over doing their own part and that was probably only right considering it was a Queen production, but personally I felt that as soon as Adam came back on the whole arena just came alive. I was talking about it at work today and someone said she went as well but had only gone because she quite liked Queen and someone had bought tickets for her as a present and she hadn't even heard of Adam before the NYE concert, and now thought he was wonderful. Also the DJ on one of the biggest radio stations here was talking about it on the radio this morning, he was absolutely raving about it, he said it was the best gig he had EVER attended. maybe at last Adam will become a household name in the UK, it's about time he was recognised for his entertainment abilities. The DJ said when it finished he just wanted it to start up all, over again - Glasgow is in for a treat tonight.
How was the crowd toward Adam? Was the applause loud? It's kinda hard to tell from the few videos I've watched.
The reaction towards Adam was simply wonderful, the shouts and applause was deafening - honestly everyone loved him he was memorising, when he sat down on the edge of the projected piece of stage that came out into the crowd the audience the place simply erupted - I never believed I would ever get to actually see him - and now I have, I am very lucky
I wonder why that third album hasn't been delayed? Adam once said, that there must be something seriously wrong, if the album will not be released in the end of 2014.

1:25, when Adam said that, it was before the second Queen tour on the schedule. It's reasonable to believe that this tour has changed the strategy for releasing A3.
I guess you are right about the Queen tour in the UK and Europe taking precedence over Adam's completing his third album. This tour is so hot right now that they have to take this opportunity to perform in all the venues listed. If it brings in the big bucks and a big audience, well, why not? The reviews have been great and hopefully this will translate in album sales and a successful first single release both here at home and internationally.
