Madonna took a major tumble today (see video below) during her performance at the BRIT AWARDS in London at the O2 Arena. Adam Lambert tweeted his message to her afterwards..

Yes, my heart went out to Madonna, great recovery, a true professional. Adam knows that feeling.
Ouch! Cape malfunction! Poor Madonna. She really took a bad tumble. I'll bet she's sore.
So great to Adam doing the RC and getting interviewed. Much more to come, I hope.
OMG! I've worked on a lot of shows and that was one of the worst staging misfires I've ever seen. It looks like she was supposed to undo her cape much sooner -- one of the dancers tried to take it away, as obviously had been rehearsed, but pulled without realizing she hadn't undone it yet. Choreographer needed to put some kind of safety check into that bit. Hope she is ok -- and hopefully people will be compassionate and not cruel in the blogosphere.

Looked to me like Madonna gave a signal with her hand without realizing the cape was still tied. Glad she didn't break a hip doing that.
Adam is truly supportive of other artists. I'm sure there were some who thought it a good laugh.
Professionalism indeed!!:) At least she is ok though!:) Adam is one of a kind that's why we all love him!!!:)

On E New they mentioned the Brits and showed some of the entertainers. Then said that there were other big stars there, and named Adam Lambert as one of them I was so happy to see that; and he looked so good on that red carpet!! I had a feeling they might mention the awards but, did not expect to see Adam; a welcome change!! This should be a very good year for our man!!
Adam is reminding me of James Dornan in this pic. It's probably the beard.
