Adam Lambert looks like a glamorous rock star even in casual clothing as he returns to the US after the European tour with Queen. Meanwhile, drummer Roger Taylor expressed his excitement over the band's return to Brazil.

Just Jared published photos of Adam Lambert stepping out of the Los Angeles Airport on Saturday night.

Queen frontman Adam Lambert was wearing a midnight blue leather jacket over a white shirt, black skinny jeans and black boots. For good measure, he donned a cowbow hat and dark shades, which is intended for anonymity than anything else.
On Feb. 28, the "American Idol" alum tweeted: "Can't believe last night was our last show of the UK/euro @QueenWillRock tour!! Gonna miss the band & all of your happy faces in the crowd."
One fan wrote, "I loved the show in the Netherlands you were amazing xx."
Another commented, "@adamlambert @QueenWillRock gonna miss you so much! It was fantastic last night, please come back to the UK soon!!!"

Another added, "@adamlambert @QueenWillRock thank you guys for the unforgettable memories! Love you!! Can't wait for your new era!"
Meanwhile, drummer Roger Taylor is really excited for the Queen + Adam Lambert Rock in Rio concerts, 30 years after Freddie Mercury rocked the stage in January 1985 in front of 250,000 people, said Gig Wise.
"How great to be coming back to Rio to rock you even harder than before," the drummer said.

Yes, yes, he playing with Queen in Rio will also be impressive in his resume.
No wonder that Roger is thrilled at the thought of CROWNING their Adam Lambert era playing there , a concert of such a magnitude, in front of 350,000 -5000,000 fans!
For rock lovers like me(my favorite rock/metal bands, Queen, Iron Maiden, Nightwish also played in Rio more than once) is like going on pilgrimage, it is a huge , memorable event and I'm sure it will be a milestone in Adam's career.

Hi Pan,
As you said my thoughts also about Nightwish, almost immediately the first time I read about QAL in Rio next fall.
It is a strange coincidence otherwise for me too, because as obsessive as I am following Adam's sexli....I mean music and career, I also need to get my Nightwish-dose every day. I've many times imagined Adam singing one or two of their songs and do them justice before but now they have a great new singer(Floor Jansen). Also I think singing Phantom of The Opera would be just EPIC with them. To me Adam's appearance is mystical and he is capable of mastering really dramatic scenes for stage performances like my other fave band does. I'm excited to see Adam's next band with the new album, FUN times!

Hi Kindred, my Finnish kindred spirit. We surely share our immense love for Adam, for Tuomas , the boys and Floor, our excitement and eagerness to listen to their new albums, The Original High, Endless Forms Most Beautiful, what inspired and beautiful names their albums have!
There was a time when I was also dreaming of Adam singing While Your Lips Are Still Red or Amaranth or...so many others.

Kindred and Pan - Thank you for introducing Nightwish to me. I went on YouTube and played some of their greatest hits and I loved what I heard! Wow! Went on Wiki to get some background information and will definitely check them out while we have a slight lull in Adam news. Thank you again! Things you learn from this awesome fandom.

So funny....I did the same thing! I had never heard of Nightwish....now I love them! The music is stirring and very similar to songs I heard at a pub in Ireland...Celtic music. I love the intensity and I skipped from video to video and so heard several of their soloists. I've bookmarked the Nightwish singles. All good.
Thanks Kindred and Pan. I'll have to acquaint myself with more Finnish artists.

Hi Sophie-Michelle and JAK!:D
OT
Thankey for the shared interest, Nightwish has had several female singers, the first one Tarja Turunen was excellent but the band did a surprising thing and "kicked" her out the band after one big concert in Finland, she had to go. Apparently She didn't have much common any more with the band members but I bet she was surprised the most because she thought SHE was "Nightwish" but it was the other way around Nightwish is the Band. Second one was Anette Olzon Swedish singer but to me she sounds too much like ABBA.
Now there is Floor Jansen from the Netherlands, everyone has their own fave singers in the band. Some think the male singer Marco Hietala is the only one necessary as a singer:D:D!. Tuomas Holopainen is playing the keyboard and is the composer. Emppu Vuorinen is the cute small sized excellent guitarist.

Sorry for the OT.:)

Have a nice Adam day. Kindred

@Kindred...If Marco Hietala is the guy with blond hair and weird beard....I agree with those who think he is the only one necessary! I think his deep rather gruff voice is 'just right'...!!! I loved The Islander video, the sound and the art direction. A new fan I am!

Hi JAK!And YAY!
OT again...:).
Yes I like the Celtic Music vibe they have in the current music they make, it suits (the wierd bearded guy)Marco's voice so well.(What would Adam sound like singing it?) And that music is spellbinding to me too.:)It's fun to watch the reactions of the audience, very entertaining to see all the passion. It was the same for me, fun to look the expressions and wonderment in the faces of the people at QAL concerts.
BTW Forgot the drummer in NW Jukka Nevalainen,he is not in the next album and tour because he suffers from total lack of sleep, just announced that, strange, hope he gets better. Have fun in this short lull we have before Adam's single comes out:D:D!Kindred
