So cool that he's performing in Finland! The fans there love him! Even if it's just one song. I'll bet he'll be doing an interview in Finland, too.

Hope he gets to meet Jenni Vartiainen. She's a beauty with a lovely voice and I watch her videos frequently. I can't understand a word, but the scenery is great and so is the music. She and Adam on stage together would be almost too much pretty in one spot!

Awesome!!

Here is a theme song for new children's hospital which promote the project and Live Aid -event in and collect money for hospital. Jenni Vartiainen is also singing :)

On the 5th of June he is supposed to be doing radio promos, and on the 6th actually performing Ghost Town. Hope he gets a little time with his friend before moving on to the next promo, which might be Sweden, not sure of the order of promos in the Scandinavian countries. I imagine Finland is thrilled that he is coming there, he has many fans who love him, even before he met his friend there.

Adam is certainly making the rounds to do promos for GT and the new album. The more people hear about it and see him, the better it will be for radio play and sales. He seems very excited about this third album and satisfied with its musical focus. I hope it brings him positive reviews overall and gives him the recognition in the music industry that he so deserves. Can't wait to see him perform on GMA in June.

I'm a proud Finn right now. WELCOME ADAM, Welcome. LOVE U SO MUCH.

Oh yes I'm sure "somebody" will be with Adam for that part of the promo. He he.

Guessing Sauli would have been in attendance, as this seems to be a major concert and him being a celebrity in Finland. Hope they can spend some time together,, still being friends. When asked by Finnish media, Sauli said he was aware of Adam's coming to Finland.

Anonymous said...

That's only part of what Sauli said to Seiska. What he said was "yeah, i'm aware but don't want to comment on the subject any more."

Maybe things are over between them.

YAY, ADAAAAAMMM!!!
ILYSFM, You truly are One in a Billion!

FINLAND will be thrilled to have you!!!
Great cause for this concert - and hopefully Adam getting lots of new fans, too!
Although he has had thousands and thousands of fans in Finland from the get go.

SOOOO wishing I could be there!

Will there be 300 hundred performers, one night , on the same stage?! If yes, it will be huge !
I also know one name in the above mentioned ones, Johanna Kurkela, an ethereal appearance, a sweet voice,( she reminds me of Sarah Brightman) and...Tuomas Holopainen 's (of Nightwish) partner.

It is a 5 hour concert.

Anne Marie said...

It was out of line for Seiska to ask Sauli anything about Adam. They are friends, and anything else is private. I hope Sauli gets to enjoy the concert in peace.
Same goes for Adam, let him enjoy the concert, without poking into his personal life.

@1:36

There's a slight but significant error in the translation mentioned in your post...

"Yeah, I'm aware (of Adam coming to Finland). However, I don't wish to comment on the subject any further", said Sauli to this (rag) mag.

Sauli being his wonderful trustworthy self.

So most probably things are just fine between these two great men, great friends!

2:32, nicely put, thank you.

JAK, agree with you, Jenni Vartiainen is a gorgeous and very talented singer. I think she sings only in finnish (?).

Anonymous said...

Noticed the theme song mentioned here is composed by Tuomas Holopainen, the songwriter and keyboardist of the world famous group Nightwish, one of my favorite bands since many years.

2:32 pm, I don't see the significant difference in the two. Can you point it out to me? Thanks.

Anonymous said...

@2:42 Perhaps I'm wrong, but didn't Jenni Vartiainen sing at DOI for one of Sauli's and Nea's performances?

3:34 PM Yes, she sang the song called "Minä ja hän" at DOI.

1:36 PM:
Sauli has always been that way though about there relationship, even when they dated he didn't like talking about it. To me everything seems perfectly fine between them.

That said, I do agree I don't care for them asking Sauli about it, but unfortunately it's something there always going to be asked about until they either confirm things are completely over between them, or they get back together.

Adam's always been highly protective of Sauli, has been since they met, so I very much doubt they'll share either way what's going on or not going on with them.

Anne Marie/@2:22pm

I totally agree with you. I think that both Adam and Sauli have learned the hard way to keep their relationship private. Their friendship and the details of it is no ones business. Anybody in their right mind and with a mature thinking brain would have sense enough to know that Adam and Sauli will probably find time if at all possible to spend some time together, I would expect no less.

I think they are very close friends and Adam and Sauli have never tried to hide that. When Sauli is in California, Adam sees him and they spend time together. That apparently is the kind of friends that they are. As you have said; anything else none of our business. They probably have their time planned out as much as possible. It would be very nice if they do get to spend some quality time together, they will probably try to work something out; away from the rag paper and peering eyes of fans!!! These two men are both such lovely people. Even though I am a fan of Adam's I respect Sauli as one of Adam's very dear friends that he once shared a love relationship with from all indications. Sauli has been very special in his life; and probably still is to this day. Wish them both the best, no matter where the future may lead them!!

Anonymous said...

Would think it's got to be embarrassing and annoying for Sauli to seemingly always be questioned about an ex,, now a friend in interviews. Sauli is very private about his private life, any of his ex's, and if he is seeing anyone, does so privately. I don't attribute it to anyone confirming what their current status is, when Adam states that he is single and Sauli saying they are close friends. Perhaps it's just the way that two such different individuals came together in such a random manner, that's what draws people to their story. So many obstacles, yet to still have had a relationship for a couple of years and still maintain a friendship. It's clear if either man has time that A&S enjoy outings, particularly athletic things, like many people do with friends. Anyone still seeking confirmation from either man is either on meds or out on a daily pass or doesn't understand English or Finnish. Stuff like this will make it hard for Sauli to find someone, if he hasn't.

I agree with you, Adam and Sauli have never answered any questions about each other. They have total respect for each other. Sauli has said that Adam is a very dear friend. They are decent young men who do not say negative things about their friends, or their relationships. They are keeping everything private, as it should be. The closest I have heard Adam say, was recently in an interview, and he was asked if he liked guys from France or Italy and Brits, Adam said yes, the interviewer continued on and said Norway?, and Adam corrected him and said Finland. Adam has many friends now since he has been traveling around the world, and he makes friends easily.

OT: IMPORTANT QUESTION: Thanks in advance for your answer!

Is the first week of sales the most important one; and does this include pre-sales. So the release date is the 16th of June, so would it help to purchase another one on that date for gifting to help the sales rise higher. Just wondering how the count matters. Is the ITunes counted and added up with wherever the album is sold. I just want Adam to have a big boost when the album comes out where it counts. This would make him so happy. He will probably be waiting nervously for results. Hope it all works out well for him. Doing everything I can!!

@7:43 PM

I doubt very much that these rude inquisitions would hinder Sauli or Adam from other relationships, if that is what they want. Sauli was on a reality show before Adam met him, so he is used to being in the spot light also. They are both intelligent young men who should know how to handle adversity by now. Don't feel sorry for either. They don't need us to worry about them; all that have to do is live their life to the fullest and keep being the wonderful guys that they are!

Anonymous said...

Such different personalities A&S. I'd hope for both men to be able to maintain their friendship, because tbh Sauli being a celebrity in Finland understands the lack of privacy. Adam loves the limelight, fame and fortune of being a star and I'd think to have to friendship of a person, who understands that sometimes it's not all it's cracked up to be, would be refreshing.

Anonymous said...

8:02 Have to disagree. A lot of people would shy away from a relationship with a person in the public eye. Not so much Adam, but Sauli has seemed intensely private and at times embarrassed at the Adam questions. S is never asked about any of his other relationships from the past. Sauli has a definite public and a private life in Finland and is entitled to that.

Anonymous said...

There are people who will find any opportunity to talk about Sauli and this thread, which is about Adam performing at a concert in Finland, provides the perfect opportunity. Let it go, folks. They're not an item anymore.

Anonymous said...

OTT I had thought that the weeks since the GT single dropped til the cd release date here all counted towards the first weeks sales. Maybe that's why the strong promo for TOH. I do hope it all works and Adam can exceed the TP's life at the top of BB music charts, which was a week. If anyone knows anything different, please explain. This focused strategy has got to pay off, in good radio spins and sales for TOH.

Anonymous said...

Jane,
yes, the presales from iTunes and Amazon count for that first weeks sales. It would help to buy another copy on the release date. It would be great if Adam debuted at #1 again.

9:12PM
i have to ask why we can't speak about sauli here. adam is going to finland and sauli lives there so of course people think if they meet again etc

Anonymous said...

9:12
Apparently they are still an interesting item, to a lot of people. Just because they both decided to go single because of interfering careers, doesn't mean that they don't still see each other when possible. Sauli was a big part of Adams life, and even after the split, they still continued to see each other when possible.
Adam will be in Finland and Sauli is in Finland, doesn't mean they are not still good friends. They appear to have a very deep friendship. I see no reason not talk about Sauli.

Anonymous said...

Actually I could see the Finns being proud and happy that a popular celebrity, well regarded in their industry, would continue to meet up. Sauli has many admirable qualities, and career wise is willing to take risks. Finland is a tiny nation, so what were the odds, that one of their own would be a partner and now close friend of a worldwide superstar. I do hope Sauli is planning to attend the concert, with or without Adam, because Sauli is always to lend support to Adam. It would be odd for Sauli not to be seen in the company of a close friend, unless Sauli has had other plans made before the Adam visit came up. That could be a distinct possibility.

ONE MORE TIME let it be known: FINLAND LOVES ADAM!!!

Adam has been very popular and well loved in Finland from the Idol days.
Long time before he and Sauli met. Adams first promo gig (no singing) was in a big book store and the amount of people took him by surprise, it was in thousands. During that trip he was on Finnish TV, too (was it X-Factor?). His first concert (GNT, Nov 2010) was sold out (unfortunately the venue only took about 3000 people), so many were left out. During the WAG Tour (Mar 2013) Adam filled the arena of 13000-15000 (almost sold out, don’t know the exact figure).

ADAM LAMBERT is loved and admired in Finland. Period. With or without Sauli. Period.

(Personally I hope these two lovely guys meet every chance they get and stay friends for ever & ever. True loyal friends are “a rare commodity”, priceless!)

The information about Adam joining in this Children’s Hospital Benefit Gig came so late… Only one week to go… Hoping lots and lots of Adam’s long time fans can see him LIVE there, but also happy that most probably Adam will gain a lot of new fans from that concert! PLUS the possible promo the day before was it?… It’s a win-win for Adam all the way!

Please excuse the typos and possible other errors, writing in all haste, SMILEY!

Pan Hi!
Wasn't that Don Rosa on Tuomas Holopainen's video w Johanna Kurkela? I've been waiting for hearing something about that collabo! He looked happy and proud drawing his art on the vid, I'm so glad seeing it!
These are exciting times and surprising turns like this Live Aid Concert in Finland of all places! Sometimes I feel the need to turn towards the stars up the sky and wonder...what's happening...:D:D! I just feel so good:)))! Eagerly waiting for next week's promos and the vids here in Finland:))).

And JAK Hi!
Nightwish just finished their NA Concert Tour for their newest album and I just watched their recent YT-videos, maybe you and Pan would care for this:

Hi ladies, JAK and Kindred
I have a huge crush on Tuomas LOL, I think he is the best current keyboardist and a very respected songwriter/lyricist. Have you known that his fussy fans call him der fuhrer, they say he is restless and bossy, after Tarja's departure, he wasn't very happy with Anette , I'm not very happy with, hush, otherwise fans will be lynching me, Floor!!!She is a splendid woman, great voice, but , unfortunately doesn't have the operatic pipes Tarja has. And the genre Nightwish play is called symphonic metal rock. It is the operatic voices that attract me the most, Bruce Dickinson, Tarja Turunen, Adam Lambert.

Anonymous said...

Hi Pan!
I can relate to what you're saying about Tarja,She was/is totally mesmerizing on stage atleast w Nightwish. Only in recent years w her own band well-no Tuomas-no NW Sound. And her appearance at The Finnish Voice was revealing some aspects of her not so chanting character IMO. Floor seems to be more natural to me.
Musicwise I like them both. And Marco is iconic in the band w his Rock outlook and talent.
I'm in a waiting "mode" For Adam's visit in Finland, WOW The amount of Promo he is doing!\O/\O/
