Oh so nice to see Brian's face again!
My gut feeling tells me that they will do some new music together at some point or another, assuming the Old Sea Lions continue staying fit and healthy. Man that would be wonderful!

Meanwhile I'm fully enjoying what Adam has to offer each and every day! Just don't have the time to keep up with all the exciting news!!!

Greetings to Roger, too!

I'm thoroughly enjoying Adam's new music and I understand fully that he wants to promote his solo career and I want to see that too. The collab with Queen, though, I really think was a great opportunity for Adam to showcase his amazing talent and got him so much exposure he would not have otherwise received IMO. To hear some new Queen music recording with Adam, the voice of this decade and beyond, would blow my mind!!! I hope it does happen in the future when Adam feels the time is right for him.

Brian gives a diplomatic answer:"not at the moment anyway." Not now , but when, is there any chance to listen to new stuff written by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert some time in the future? To my immense regret "the call of the badgers"(it belongs to a Queen fan from QZ)is stronger than the call of music-writing, but it is music that soothes minds, broken hearts, so let the music play!

Queen is a nostalgia act. There will be no new music. That would be ridiculous.

During one of the UK concerts, the audience was told they could not use cell phones or cameras. They were told the show was being filmed for an album or something. They said it would not be ready for release for five months (June). An album would fulfill my wildest dreams! I'm waiting very impatiently. Am I waiting in vain? It really gets my ire up when queen puts "new" albums out from 30 or 40 years ago when they have an exciting new frontman and people are clamoring for new music with him. ic

The only frontman for queen was freddie. Adam is not part of the band. No queen fan needs to have an adam record when they already have Freddie's voice on the songs.

They may release a dvd of the live show at some point which is a different thing

2:30 pm, if that happened it would be for a DVD, not an album.

Brian playing on Adam's new album hints at wanting to be a part of Adam's solo career as well as a future with more collaborating. Big name artists do it all the time.

Brian is not part of Adam's solo career.

Brian being on adams album hints at adam wanting queen fans to buy his album. Lol

I'm just taking it one step at a time. We have Rock in Rio in September along with the other South American shows. I'm sure QAL will perform together again now and then when the right things come along. Beyond that, I want Adam's solo career to blossom.

Brian being on ADAM's new album says that ADAM has the highest regard for Brian's great talent & a collaboration with Brian (as with Tove Lo) is something ADAM feels is right for all of them) ... not that he is looking for Queen fans to buy TOH ... maybe this is the song that they (ADAM & Brian) worked on together & not just a song that Brian is lending his guitar to. There are a number of 'perhaps' that can be why Brian is on the album ... not just Queen fan sales!! JMO

3:39 why ever would anyone one have to hint at something like that? Isn't that why songs featuring others are done? That's life in the big city.

Adam and Brian collaborated on a song called 'Lucy'. A lot of Adam's fans had asked if Adam would have Brian on his album. I see nothing wrong with it, and also Tove Lo. They are both assets for Adam on his album.
Brian right now is extremely involved in the UK's position of cruelty to animals, the badger situation and also the government wanting to make it legal to bring back fox hunting. About some new material for an album with Adam, Brian said 'not now' because Adam is concentrating on his solo album. Queen also said 'not now' when asked if they would ever tour with Adam, and you all know what happened. IMO I think it is a possibility that there could be new material, as soon as next year next year. It certainly would not hurt Adam's career in any way, to have his own albums and also at least one with Brian and Roger, it would not be a Queen album, it would not be about Queen or Mercury or David Bowie. I for one would certainly buy it.

@3:39 You sound so weaselly. Is that your intention?

All we know at this stage is that Brian lends his guitar expertise to the song "Lucy". Nothing has been said about Brian contributing to other songs on the TOH album.

I thank Queen and WBROs. for helping Adam's career to be recognized around the globe. Adam will be ICONIC indeed!!!:) He is a fighter!!!!

But everybody here was saying Queen fans would buy Adam's new album so what difference does it make if Brian is on it or Adam wants them to buy it. The tour with Queen was supposed to make them buy it.

Adam fans, please ignore posts like 1:58, 2:46, 3:27, 3:39, 10:28 - Poor Lol's having anxiety attack....

Adam changing and evolving, new music - LOVE IT!!! - and at the same time he is the current Frontman of the Queen, as stated by Iconic Queen Guys, Brian and Roger, who also support and love him like his true fans do!

Brian playing the guitar on Adam's song, Lucy doesn't make him part of Adam's solo career. And yes 3:42 AM, Adam is the current frontman of Queen.

Let's concentrate our efforts on Adam's solo career. :)

Brian made a perfectly reasonable statement, good on him! What a nice guy he seems to be.

Touring with Queen was a great move for Adam. Making new music with Queen is risky. Queen's songs are iconic and very recognizable to millions of people. Adam, in my opinion, sings them better than Freddie did. I enjoy the songs more when Adam sings them. The songs that Adam performed with Queen were the result of four different writers. The songs were the best of the band's music over a two decade career. They didn't write a single album where all of the songs were hits.

Brian and Roger are almost twenty five years older than they were when Freddie died. Who knows if they are capable of writing great songs now. Adam would have to be part of the writing process if he wants credibility as a song writer and not just as a front man. The album that Queen made with Paul Rodgers did not sell well. I am not sure who wrote the songs for that album. If a QAL-written album does not have a hit song on it, does it serve them to make an album at all? I am sure that Adam would sing the songs well. Since Brian and Roger have the Queen repertoire on their side, Adam would likely take the brunt of the criticism.

I think all 3 might get together to try and write a song and see what comes out of it. We will not find out that they are going to do that in case it doesn't work out. I think we would find out about it only if they felt that they had at least one hit song that would be comparable to the old Queen songs.

I am sure that Queen will put out a concert DVD and a double album from the tour. I think it will sell well. What if an album of new music didn't sell nearly as well? Would it be considered a success?

It is always nice to see Brian compliment Adam. I hope that they tour a lot more.
