Adam Appearing on Two UK TV Show This Weekend: BBC's "Who Dares Wins" (Lottery) and Channel 4's "Sunday Brunch"

Adam, who is currently in the midst of his TOH promotional tour in Europe, will be in London this weekend and appearing on two very popular television shows (or, as they say in the UK, programmes): BBC One's The National Lottery: Who Dares Wins, which is obviously a much bigger production than any lottery show we have in the States, especially given that Adam will be performing ("Ghost Town"); and, Sunday Brunch, which is part talk show, part cooking show, on the UK's prestigious Channel 4. Here are promo announcements on them both:
Note for "Sunday Brunch": when you get to the webpage, you will need to click on the little arrow on the right to reach the listing for this Sunday's episode featuring Adam. It would appear that none of the other guests are known to most Americans:
-Dermot O'Leary, the UK's equivalent of Ryan Seacrest (to a degree)
-(Mr.) Midge Ure, Scottish musician
-Alesha Dixon, R&B artist and Britain's Got Talent judge
-Michael Caines, a UK national chef (not to be confused with actor Michael Caine)
-Daniel Rigby, young British actor
The reason I'm pointing this out is that Adam is simply listed together with all these Brits, and on what is a very British show, which gave me the feeling, rightly or wrongly, that the UK has unabashedly taken Adam under its wing.

Well, in TV listings I see they never explain who anybody is so I don't think it means anything that they didn't explain Adam.
Midge Ure for one, was related to the original Live Aid line-up, in that he was also a co founder of that event. His live aid interview about encountering FM was a hoot. Sir Dermot Leary figures big in the UK. All in all good company for Adam.
Good gig for Adam, I think. And yes, it does seem like the UK is finally embracing Adam. 'Bout time! :)
@8:08am: Thanks, no, the listing didn't explain who Adam is or who any of the guests are either, it just lists names. I created the descriptions above just so everyone knows who those people are, for perspective. As 8:20 said, good company for Adam.

Perhaps I'm reading into this too much, but now it feels as if, when previously a lot of the UK didn't 'get' Adam, that first with the Q+AL NYE show and then the Q+AL UK tour not only is Adam now well recognized by the UK, he's been EMBRACED -- sort of like an adopted son. His success and acceptance in the UK this past year has been extremely heartening.

I am hope the UK has embraced Adam. At least he's being given a higher profile in the Country.
I think fan goggles are on if you think the UK has embraced Adam. I don't really see the evidence of that. Yes his profile is significantly raised but that's it.

I have watched most of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour stops in the UK and read many of the comments after each one. There were eleven sold-out shows across England. Trust me, they have embraced Adam over there. There were times when I actually wished he would move to London where he would get more appreciation than he was getting here. I hope and pray that he will continue to be treated better by the American TV, radio, magazines, etc., once all the album promotion is over.
There was a rebroadcast tonight of the iHeart Radio "Pool Party" that was held in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. There were performances two nights. Adam introduced an act and performed. The version tonight showed the intro but not his performance. I couldn't find any mention of when or if the other acts will be rebroadcast.
On the other hand, my favorite Adam is as Queen's one in a billion rock god. Can hardly wait until September when it's Rock in Rio time.
10:35 PM, sorry, but Adam did not perform at the iHeart Pool Party. I watched the whole stream. It happened on only one day, not two nights, and Adam only introduced Echosmith.
I think the sold out Q + AL shows in England were because it was QUEEN. Glad it did raise Adam's profile in England and that he was well received. You seem to have unjustified sour grapes about Adam's treatment in the US.
