It was announced today that on-air personality, comedienne and managing editor of VH1's Bestweekever.tv website, Michelle Collins, will be the newest co-host of THE VIEW, following upon the departure of Rosie Perez. As it so happens, Michelle interviewed Adam twice in 2009 — one print, one video — which we have for you, courtesy of Twitter users @citygirl36, for the first one, and @TheRealDuckBert for the second — thanks both! There’s an old saying that goes “Never meet your heroes, because you can only ever be disappointed.” For me, this has never been such an issue, as most of my heroes are dead. In fact, the only hero of mine that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, Ms. Joan Rivers, exceeded my expectations and beyond for being the most amazing woman ever. But lately, a new hero has emerged on the horizon: Adam Lambert, the enigmatic, timeless, sexy, talented, from another planet amazing American Idol runner-up who has turned the United States into a pigpen of lusty fanboys and fangirls, myself included. Having watched this season of Idol since Day 1, my feelings for Adam went from “casual fan” to “He is the Second Coming of Christ.”

Please please please Michelle convince producers and Whoopie that Adam needs to be interviewed and sing on The View.

I loved all the interviews Adam and Michelle did together! They made "magic" and my face ached from non-stop laughter! I really hope Michelle remembers her BFF Adam and brings him on the show!
This is one of my all time fav interviews! I love Adam's laugh so much and she is absolutely hysterical.

I've watched this MANY times over the years. It's a riot! I agree with those who have commented here that it would be great if Michelle could get Adam on The View to both perform and sit and talk. She knows what a good interview he is. And Adam WAS on The View before, too. I know his visit to The Talk is coming up as well.
My mantra of the day: PLEASE keep streaming and supporting GT! Its continued strength is the gateway to the success of subsequent singles. The better GT does, the more likely the next single will have momentum from it and get radio play. Adam and his label are supporting GT strongly right now and we have to help them focus their efforts on it for Adam's sake. I know we core fans have heard the song so many times, but the average radio listener has not heard it nearly as often. The GT period is still in full force even though we are already looking beyond it. Keep streaming!
