Adam was interviewed today on Sydney's KIIS-FM radio on the Kyle & Jackie O Show and got more than a bit perturbed when Jackie brought up that Adam could pursue a relationship with singer Ricky Martin since the two are single and gay. Adam responded:

“Don’t do that, you’re not allowed to do that,” he told the Kyle and Jackie O Show. “That’s so silly ... `Oh a gay guy and another gay guy, oh you must date’, come on.”

krismidas said...: Without even hearing the interview, you could tell that article was spinning things to create controversy. We've never, ever heard Adam be tactless or rude in an interview. He is so gracious and skilled at handling situations with grace and humor. The whole exchange was delightful. Adam made an important point without making anyone feel bad or embarrassed. His social skills are really exceptional.

(It's annoying to think there are people who will read that article and think Adam is a jerk. Nothing could be farther from the truth.); July 31, 2015 at 7:06 AM
