Sounds like a very good interview, but of course, we have the German dubbed in. Hope we get a transcript sometime or many a video without the overdub. At any rate, Adam is so focused and thoughtful when he is interviewed. His eyes are like glistening pools. So beautiful.
This interview comes across to me as very positive and genuine and quite refreshing actually. I speak German, so I am trying to do my best to provide a quick re-cap:
The interviewer expresses his excitement about Adam's visit and his chance to finally meet him in this "short and sweet" chat. Big compliments to Adam on mixing up the charts with his hit single GT and mention that "it's been a while" since his last hit single WWFM. Adam talks about TP and the lack of its commercial success after all the work he put into it. Then quick re-cap on Adam's road to success. Idol, WWFM, a few quiet years..., and then Q&A. NYE gig in London (I think they picked fantastic video footage!), and world tour that took them also to Vienna. Mention of Freddie and legacy and Adam's usual answer that there will only be one Freddie etc. On to Robbie Williams and question about possible collaboration. Adam: "Who knows? May be?". Question about dream collaborators for Adam. Adam answers that he likes to collaborate but at the moment isn't sure, doesn't know who exactly he would chose. The interviewer talks about an Austrian artist that offered one minute of silence during a song for his audience to reflect (I hope I got this somewhat right), which Adam finds very powerful. The interviewer raises final question. Asks Adam if he thinks that artists have an obligation to help people and make things better. Adam answers that he doesn't feel as much an obligation as for him it is much more about the need to be genuine and create something beautiful. He talks about the beauty in using the platform to do something great. The interview closes in hopes that Adam will return to Austria soon, and by acknowledging how authentic, likable, and charismatic he is.
