I don't get what it's supposed to mean. Good or bad?

I'm ready to move on......keep interest going. I hope he sings ALN on Seth Meyers show and the Today show. And, IF ALN is new video....please no 'circus or freak show' characters! Wouldn't they clash with lyrics?

Yes they would totally clash with lyrics of ALN. I can't even process how they can put a circus in a video that should only be about Adam and his emotions!

A song becoming "recurrent" is not a bad thing. There's a really good article about it that I read yesterday on either AO or Atop. I'll try to find the link and post it. Apparently making a song recurrent is a way to keep a strong song like GT on the radio after its charting position is no longer a major factor. I realize that GT is still being added to radio playlists, and that's fantastic. But according to the article, radio stations have to "make room" for other rising songs. So GT will likely still be heard on the radio. It's certainly made its mark. Seems like many of us are ready for Another Lonely Night! I know I am. Hope he sings it on Seth's show and on Today. :)

Thanks, Broddy, It's funny, because I copied and pasted the whole URL exactly from the other site. Don't know why it didn't turn out right. But thanks so much for re-posting it correctly. It's very interesting. Turns out that recurrent isn't necessarily a bad thing. Getting VERY excited about the release of ALN!

He'll probably play GT but it would be really cool if he played Another Lonely Night.

The number of recent bookings on tv shows to me indicates that it is time for a new single. He did a number of tv shows right after GT came out. GT is not going to be charting in a way that will affect the song the same way it did in the past so the era of promoting GT is over. If ALN does well, it is more likely that GT will get more radio play. It is obvious that GT has peaked and Adam can't wait any longer to put out a new single. When Adam gets the opportunity to sing more than one song, I am sure that GT will be performed.

I also hope that ALN will be featured now. As much as I like Ghost Town I prefer ALN & I'm tired of GT. I also think ALN is more visually & vocally appealing to be performed live & it will be more addicting than GT. More interesting lyrics & easier for Adam to visually perform. "My Heart is a Ghost Town" lyric got too repetitive for me after awhile. ALN has a more passionate, connecting appeal for me, but really love all of the tracks, especially There I Said It & Lucy. Evil in the night also TV friendly. I hope all of the tracks get radio & TV attention, as it's a great album. I also agree with Jak, hope Adam will omit the friends & dancers if ALN will be a video. Hope it will be a romantic, Adam featured up close & personal one that would be more fitting for this song.
