TRANSLATION of the review (via Google Translate: Portuguese to English):

With Freddie Mercury on the big screen and Adam Lambert shining on vocals, Queen moves in Sao Paulo

Band paraded his eternal hits in immaculate presentation

"It's one of the most beautiful voices of this world." Many times I heard my mother say this phrase whenever a band Queen music playing somewhere. Yes, Freddie Mercury is even one of the greatest singers that have emerged to date, with absurd vocal control, as well as its authentic and unforgettable interpretation. The singer died the same year I was born a few months later. Still, because of my mother, I developed a great love for the band of which he was facing. She showed me their sound and I was charmed me.

On Wednesday (16), had the opportunity to watch the Queen's concert in Sao Paulo. With two of the original members, guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, and the talented Adam Lambert instead of Freddie, the group apresentarou for Ibirapuera Gymnasium completely packed. At the door, a lot of desperate people looking for tickets.

Occasionally, the show began with a projection of Brian May's huge shadow on cloth that covered the stage. With One Vision, Adam Lambert came as a real star of the music. Leather clothes and sunglasses, his back was giving a reboladinhas and of course gave that dramatic turn that made the screaming crowd.

The singer was just talking to the audience there for the fourth song, not to lose the momentum in the songs when thanked Freddie Mercury and called for applause. And from there, Ithaca I stick the numerous successes of the band. Do not Stop Me Now (for the record that was the theme song of my graduation from college) wowed the crowd and the band went into a powerful sequence of I Want to Break Free and Somebody to Love.

Before taking on the vocals and sing the beautiful Love of My Life, Brian May was thrilled with the audience, who cheered and chanted his name. He then said that music was the Brazilians, because they did become famous, referring to the historical presentation of the Queen at Rock in Rio 1985. And at the end of the song, the audience will swoon when Freddie comes on screen to finish sing the song. Real exciting.

Incidentally, it is worth praise the production of the show, which featured huge screens, a set of lights that created true illusions, explosions, and even shredded paper cannons.

As for the musicians, it is difficult to assess the performance of May and the rest of the band, their talent size. It may simply destroys in his solos, and Roger Taylor and his son Rufus, who is also percussionist and drummer, and even makes a "duel" with her father on stage. -Raising!

Lambert shines with his powerful voice

One of the most powerful voices of the current song, Adam Lambert is the accurate choice to accompany the band. So charismatic and performative as Freddie, he gives a show with her powerful vocal range, their dances and pouting, mannerisms, and like any music divo worth its salt, with its numerous costume changes. At the end of the show, it comes up with a whole outfit of leopard, wrapped in the flag of Brazil and with a crown on his head. It is impossible not to love?

Of course, Freddie and Adam styles are quite different and even impossible to compare, but fans seem to have adopted all the talent and Adam glamor. Among the classics, he still sang Ghost Town, her latest single. Electronic music has gained a very interesting rock version.

For the final block, the Queen kept some of his biggest hits: Radio Ga Ga, The Show Must Go On, Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You unanimous and We Are The Champions, which enclose the presentation.

The text began talking about a personal thing because I found myself thinking of something that may sound corny, but it always seems to me very true ... the eternity of music. The timeless power of music fascinates me and intrigue me. When good songs come up, they mark the lives of many people, not necessarily born at the time they were launched. And many years later, continue to thrill, excite, delight. Inside the gym in Sao Paulo, all kinds of people. Proof that the Queen enchanted generations was there for all to see. Elderly, adults in their 30/40 years young 20-somethings, children and adolescents, all enjoying.

With his unforgettable songs, its great musicians and the addition of a talented vocalist, the Queen follows honoring Freddie and proving this theory of eternity. And I, after being completely mesmerized by the spectacular show I saw, I can only say one more thing: thank you, mother.

When I see that outfit my mind always has a private giggle of memory. There was a similarly excellent review from one of the Q&AL shows in the UK. They, in part, had this to say...."His unusually wide vocal range allows him to hit the high notes.....which would normally require the assistance of even tighter trousers!"
