You have probably already seen in an earlier thread that during Q+AL's concert in Sao Paolo, Brazil last night, Adam, Brian, Roger and the band performed a new 'rock' version of Adam's "Ghost Town." If not, see glitzylady's post HERE.
Both Billboard and our good friend Lyndsey Parker at Yahoo! Music have already filed stories on this monumental moment....
(Lyndsey:) "It was epic, of course. But it was also unexpected. This was “Ghost Town” as it’d never been heard before. Normally a club banger with a chilled-out ‘90s house vibe, with Queen the song was transformed into an audacious '70s rock anthem, with Brian May’s distinctively fiery guitar licks replacing the familiar whistling hook."
"Freddie Mercury remains irreplaceable, but Queen fans hungry to see the surviving band members live in the 21st century owe Adam Lambert a healthy debt of gratitude for bringing the British band's classic material back to the stage with style, aplomb and an incredible set of pipes." ... "So it's about time that Queen returned the favor and lent their majestic stadium rock touch to one of Lambert's solo tracks."
