So funny...obviously seeing who could "sing" the loudest..The little girl was so cute, and Adam is always just the sweetest with kids...Loved that he gave her a "50" score.. : )) The "highest" obviously.

I like the whole scene where Adam is getting lots of love and attention. Japan rocks!

Loved the second video and the smiles and happiness shown on the Japanese fans faces. Agree with @Cathy - Japan does rock!! . . . Hope this is true but read that Adam will be on a repeat show of Ellens shown on Tuesday. . . . Adamluv

I have been unable to use my laptop since early Friday morning, it has a virus, my poor baby I am so sad. Hopefully it is under control my daughter has taken it to work. Anyway I am on the old desk top PC in office, its ghastly.
What I was wondering though has there been no videos of the Japan Concerts or am I mixed up and there wasnt concerts just promotions? Guess that must be it.

hey that boy had on a shirt just like Adam's, so cute.

Even the little girl stole the show for Adam:)

I wasn't a fan of the this new look- but I have to say now that I've seen him live- I love it!! Still love black hair, but theres something very cool about this look also. He's just drop dead gorgeous no matter what.
Ot: closing cermonies of olympics are so lame IMO, anything adam is far more exciting.

Anonymous said...

JAK here....obviously the bleach didn't affect his vocal cords.
....I'm watching the Olympic ceremony and with every camera sighting of Prince Harry with his 'ginger' hair I keep wondering, would Adam ever? NAH!
....I like Harry, from childhood he has always looked like a total scamp!

Anonymous said...

Awww..... The little girl wears similar black & white pants like her idol Adam Lambert!!!:)
So so cute & Adorable!
U can see adam got a kick out of his youngest fan:)
Love love love this! All look so so HAPPY!

Anonymous said...

Adam looks incredible. So classy looking! Japan giving ADAM lots of love, as always. It's easy to see why Adam has so much fun there, plus so much respect amongst the love.

Anonymous said...

@6:54
AND doesn't Australia know it!
Everyone's going nuts here waiting for ADAM!

Anonymous said...

Just finished watching the closing ceremony for the Olympics and the performance by Queen with Jessie J. She might be a talented performer, but no way should a female be singing We Will Rock You with Queen. After seeing Adam with them in London and the other 3 concerts, no one but Adam Lambert does any of those songs justice the way that he did. Brian was superb on the guitar, but all I kept on hearing was Adam doing this song and not her. Oh, well. At least they love him in Japan and he seems to be having a great time. And the new hair color seems to be growing on me each time I see a new picture or video of him. I think that Adam will certainly see the love from the audience when he performs in those two(?) concerts there this coming week.

Anonymous said...

I'm getting used to the new hair color also, but he's got to keep that great tan to offset the blond. Great combination!

@ Jadam NZ.....JAK here

Though I've only had a computer 3 years (I was a hold out B.A. (before Adam) I get panicky when DELL-A is ailing. I talked my grandson into staying over for the weekend so he could look at her.
I tucked him in the bed in his old playroom and kissed him goodnight(I don't care if he's 24, he's my baby)....as I was leaving the room I flipped off the light and he said "What, no story?"

DELL-A came thru her checkup with flying colors so I coaxed him into adding Trespassing to my MP3 from my new UK album. I am electronically (sp?) challenged and goof up almost everytime. So now I have added the MP3 to the little satin pouch I wear around my neck to carry my old lady 'I've fallen and I can't get up' emergency button. My husband insists...I've been a klutz since childhood and have the scars and badly broken bones to prove it. If I ever have to push my HELP button the EMTs will find me sprawled on the carpet unconscious with a smile on my face and SHADY playing in my earbuds.

I hope your laptop recovers quickly.

loved the short little videos..wonder why they were broken up so much..very clear & great HD,tho.wish the little girl could have had a medal, too,or some kind of prize...she seemed disappointed..so cute, tho. This radio fan thing was recorded before the new tat,I think.Adam's hair looked just like it did the first day he arrived...he needs more darker highlights & a conditioner,I think,if that tat pic was in Japan..His hair grows VERY fast,if it was..color very different & hair also..sorry,don't care for that big tat,but it's his body.

Anonymous said...

Hey I like this screaming game...sooo much fun. And Adam played along sooo well. I like how he selects the lollipop sticks to show the points. The little girl looked a little scared when she was heaved up by Adam. Yea agree, the little girl should get a prize since she wasn't given any handicap points...lol! :)

Thanks JAK, I guess I am a little like you with the computer. Although compared to my friends I am a master, love email etc. But yes I am missing my little Dell Baby.
Thanks to the people who answered me abouit the concert dates. JAK again I still get a big hug etc from my now towering over me 16 year old Grandson and I hope when he is 24 I still get them.
Love to all ya here, my cyber friends.

I was sorry to see NCOE is # 10 thread go. There were some hot politics getting everyone going.
No harm in stirring up your brain occasionally and since politics plays a big part in Adam's future life it's not too far OT.

daydreamin said...

I love the HD and yes, I loved the interaction with the little girl and when Adam hoisted her up. She will always have this video to show off to all of her friends!

Anonymous said...

That was the most adorable moment watching Adam lift the little girl. ..waaaaay up! She probably didn't expect that ! Boy, Adam got such a kick out of her. He just couldn't stop grinning! I'm so happy for Adam because he seems so happy.

I wonder if Adam watched the Closing Ceremonies, at least the part with Brian May and Roger, and Jessie J. When I wAtched it I just couldn't help but think of how magnificent Adam would have sounded instead.....sorry.
Brian was fantastic on guitar tho.

I have yet to see Jessie J singing with Queen. There are clips on YouTube but they're not able to be viewed ....WTF! Adam is a fan of hers and I like her voice too.

Anonymous said...

GOD...he beautiful~!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Adam looks great and it seems like he is really enjoying himself. Did you notice the guy with the t-shirt with the stars is the same one that Adam wears? That little girl was so cute. Japanese fans certainly seem to love Adam and he is getting all the attention he deserves that we sometimes don't see here at home. Can't wait for any of the videos that come from these concerts.

Anonymous said...

After watching Jessie J perform with Queen at the closing ceremony, I hope that Those who saw Adam perform with them recently realize what a spectacular job he did. A female just shouldn't perform We WillRock You. Adam and Queen have to get together again to do some concerts here at home next year, but I guess that promoting Trespassing is his priority. If a tour is contingent upon record sales, he and his management have to take every opportunity to get him on tv entertainment shows for this fall. This man is so talented and yet for whatever the reasons, he has not reached the success that we, as his devoted fans, had wished for him. Hopefully in time the public will get to know, to appreciate and to love Adam Lambert as most of us ont his site do.

Anonymous said...

Thought Jessie J was great. Thought her very very fitting (swagger, vocal ability, etc., I follow her, IMHO she was a good fit). Side note: Adam digs and respect her, worth mentioning :). It was a night for British entertainers, sorta plain and simple bottom line! (but it got to me too a little :), but it was a night for the Brits, bottom line).

Anonymous said...

Diehard Queen fans think no one can replace Freddie so there's no point trying to convince them otherwise. Similarly, we think no one can replace Adam. We're all used to hearing Queen songs sung by guys so it was a tough gig for a female singer but she did it well.

Anonymous said...

I saw the entire closing ceremonies and thought that Jessie J has a great voice. She sang the earlier songs just fine. But WWRY did not fit her voice or style at all. It didn't showcase her voice very well. I think it's a guy song, to be honest. She's a good singer, but this song didn't suit her.

Brian May, on the other hand, took everyone to school with that guitar solo that showed everyone how it's done. A master.

Oh thank goodness ...officially loving the hair now ...:guess I just needed to see him live...or at least video live to realize how great this new look is....Renee

Anonymous said...

The one video that was up of Queen and Jessie has been taken down. Before they removed it I read comments that were What no Adam, Even Adam would have been better than this. ( and these people had Queen fan names.)

Anonymous said...

@9:44 The little girl was adorable. She did have something in her hands that they had given her, but she probably wanted a medal. She didn't realise how lucky she was getting all of that attention from Adam.

HK fan said...

I just managed to find a Jessie J/Queen vid still up. Just watched it. I like Jessie J, but that song did not suit her, and it sounded really rough at the beginning with the echo. i just don't think queen songs sound the same with a female voice. and how come she seems to be morphing into Katy Perry?

Shame Adam couldn't do it, he would have blown everyone else away.

Anonymous said...

They should have done what Adam did at the QueenAdam concert...Freddie sings half and Adam takes over. Adam did it so well and he even saluted to Freddie on the screen...so touching. When Adam took over from Freddie, so smoothly, it made me feel as if he was ushering Freddie out from the screen to the people; made him come 'alive'. But to some extent, Adam might inadvertently snatch the limelight once again.

Anonymous said...

so interesting that Adam can get so much press from not being w/ Queen at the Olympics. I agree with those that Jessie J got too much time on the program compared to others (and R Brand could have been skipped). and her performance w/ Queen came across as more about her wanting to steal the limelight than performing with Brian and Roger. The guitar playing was stellar.

Anonymous said...

@8:15 I agree. Adam was always so humble while performing with Queen. Always trying to put the focus on them, not trying to steal the spotlight. Well I think people who watched Adam sing with Queen must appreciate his talent even more now.

Anonymous said...

"Adam shared this cover of “If I Had You” by 13-year old Blake Fitzpatrick — and it’s awesome. There’s some dancing, some pretty good vocals, and a really nice message about taking on bullies. We also give Blake extra credit for picking one of our favorite Adam songs."

I don't know anything about Jessie J from before but I can tell at a glance she's Britain's Katy Perry.

Anonymous said...

Yea Brian's exhibition guitar-play was the best and stood out from the rest. He rocked that beautiful long coat, keeping up well with Adam's EMA coat, lol! But when he walked out alone on the Olympic runway, I felt really sad...because Brian and Adam have become such a formidable twosome that we expect to see Adam when Brian walks out and plays his guitar...a terribly let-down feeling.

I don't care for George Michael much,but..He's had depression problems, etc.I saw him on the biography channel last night( really 4am ET)I knew some about him,but not a whole lot.He said he thought he was bi,but realized he was gay @ about 27yo,& had his first boyfriend partner then, who died( of aids?)in about 2 yrs after they met.He had such much success so young( 12 million albums sold) but he was "stuck" in a 30-YEAR Contract w/Sony!!Can you imagine that??He didn't promote one or 2 albums @ all.He went to court,& Sony finally said they didn't want him anymore( prob not true, but they refused to let him "win" in court)In 2010,I think,he ran his SUV into a store,& was charged with DUI by being stoned on pot..was fined,& lost his driver's license for 5 yrs.You all know about the other things he was caught doing..exposure in a public restroom in LA by undercover cops..He wasn't the best role model to sing @ the Olympics..hope he's straightened himself out now.much more info about him on the net...........I'll take Adam anytime!!loved the little videos.I hope we get to see more where we get to see BB sing a whole song~~

Adam's arm tat made the Top Movers on MSN this morning!

you know, the fact that Adam has not sold that many albums would probably not affect his ability to sell out a tour..he is so fantastic live..wish I knew the real reason that radio will not, or at least not that often, play his music...I actually like the new tat...kinda wish he would add some color to the right arm..the left tat takes up so much skin that the words would be obliterated if he gets more tats on that arm...the blonde is growing on me too..lets face it..almost nothing this amazing man does could turn off those of us who love him desperately..

Anonymous said...

@9:02 ask them ---> ^V^

maybe admin could post the segment about Adam's arm ink that was on MSN this morning. I missed it. thanks !!

Anonymous said...

The fact that WWFM was such a big hit after you know what proves Adam can have commercial success. The 2 songs from Trespassing they have released do far are my 2 least favorites. I think he just needs the right song, the only bad part is the songs onTresPassing don't all sound the same seems like most hit songs do these days.

Anonymous said...

I am off work today and I was just re-watching some of the vids from Kiev..and, pardon my French, but Adam Lambert is absolutely, with a shadow of a doubt, the most fantasic, amazing FUCKING singer out there..who can reach those notes???? WHO?? I'll tell you who..NO ONE..NO ONE..NO ONE!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

pardon me..got too excited about my Adam..I meant "without" a shadow of a doubt..(and yes, I know he is not MY Adam)..just dreaming..just dreaming..LOL

Anonymous said...

I listen to Better Than I Know Myself every day. I like other songs on the album too. If you hear a song enough often for example on the radio, it stucks to your head. I doubt one hit song is much catchier than the other, it just depends how many times you hear it.

http://www.vh1.com/shows/events/do_something_awards/2012/music-artist/

I hope everyone is voting on the Do Something Awards. With so little radio support, anything that helps keep his name out there in pop culture in very important. Besides he really deserves this award.

Odd that it appears that the Idol judgeship is still up in the air. I wonder if Adam is still on the consideration list?

Anonymous said...

I think given the chance by radio that Trespassing, Cuckoo, Pop that lock could fit fine on radio. Maybe Better Than I Know Myself wasn't the best lead single but I loved it( my opinion). No excuse for U.S. radio with Never Close Our Eyes they picked it. Must say Love the new Tatt and Adam's hair is awesome as usual. I hope he will perform Underneath when he does the trespassing tour. Wanna hear it live so badly!!!! Anne

Anonymous said...

Just voted a bunch more for the Do somethings. Isn't Adam supposed to be a presenter or something at that show? I have it written down for Aug. 21, but he's on his way to Australia then. When are the Do Somethings?

DRG

Anonymous said...

I know this is just my opinion, but I offer it emphatically: Jessie J is an amazing vocalist. Look up her old stuff on the internet, she's just sort of in her room. She is an amazing talent. Britian's Katy P, IDK, maybe, but she can sing circles around KP, circles! Opinion, I guess it's mind, but I thought she was a very good fit w/ Queen last night. I didn't think she was trying too hard to steal any limelight whatsoever. Her vocals were better than most, it's a tough venue, obviously! She's not for everyone, absolutely, but the girl's got vocal prowess to die for (just like Adam).

Anonymous said...

@1:11 PM.. apparently Pharrel Williams is getting a spot on AI..but, since Randy is going to mentor and not judge, that leaves one more spot..several people have been mentioned lately..but, alas, none of those names are Adam Lambert..I so wish it was cause I am convinced it would do his career miracles, not to mention up his album sales..such is life tho..we have to take our disapointments with grace (but I am so mad!!!)

My sister and her husband live in Emeryville, CA, so he can ride his bike to work. Sis called me this morning and said Something big is planned for Adam. She won't tell me any more right now and there's no way i can pry it out of her. Her husband works for Pixar. I'm looking at his business card right now and it says Voice Casting and Dialog Director. I'm hoping that Adam's been cast in a Pixar animated movie or a Pixar/Disney collaboration. I don't know what else it could be.

Holding my breath.

Anonymous said...

Well, some of us have said over the past few years that it would be GREAT if Adam did a voice in an animated film. If this is the case, it's wonderful news! Pixar does AMAZING movies, lots of hits. What a neat way for Adam to "break into film." Let's keep our fingers crossed.
So, Pharell is in for sure, huh? Well, he will be different from what they've had. I'm not counting on Adam as the third.
Agree that Jessie J has a great voice, just not a voice suited to Queen songs, IMO.

@3:27PM

I think ADAM's voice will be used in an animated film!
I hope the animated character is a rock singer!

Just watched Access Hollywood today and Joe Jonas was a guest and he was asked about Nick being a judge on Idol. He said he hopes so and that they (Idol) should make up their mind soon. I'm just paraphrasing here. So, it's still hanging and dangling but nothing is done deal.

Anonymous said...

3:27 that sounds far fetched. won't everyone know your brother in law dropped the dime by you stating his business card info on the internet?

nick J. has the best chance because they are heavy on the retired Disney kids as judges. Britney and demi and Chritina so far. Might as well add NJ to the clan.

JAK here...a momentous occasion, I have just added my first blond Adam performance to my favorites list.

However I have a question and an admission. At the end of the Trespassing video from Japan a pop up showed a song by Justin Beiber, As Long As You Love Me....since I have NEVER heard him sing a song (that's the admission) I decided to listen. My question is has he always sung like that? I mean is his voice changing or something?
I heard a lot of klinkers and it really wasn't good at all. Other than being a cute boy....does he sing well-usually?

daydreamin said...

I saw a lot of the tweets coming through last night and so many were saying that Adam Lambert would have killed it (in a good way) and tons of "Where is Adam Lambert?" It was so good to see these as they were not regulars saying this and many were male.

anon 3:27 that is cool! My bro in law works in Emoryville too. He works for Gracenote, which is a subsidiary of Sony. They liscence the lyrics to artists songs as well as perform checks against music to make sure artists musoc and lyrics are not being copied. They also do television side which is the side he works on.

Found this next article from here: http://www.timeout.jp/en/tokyo/feature/6054/Summer-Sonic-who-to-watch#.UCiyYJHZuT0.twitter

Glamorous, theatrical and possessed of a truly bombastic voice – not for nothing did Adam Lambert get recruited to fill in for the late Freddie Mercury at a series of Queen gigs in Europe last month. Pretty good for a former American Idol contestant, and we suspect that Lambert is going to blow away Ke$ha and Rihanna's shows on Sunday. Sonic Stage, 8.05pm

@Lammy I had that "let down feeling" also when Brian walked out alone on that stage without Adam :(

Now that you brought it up, to tell you honestly, I felt a tear and a heartfelt flutter. It was a complete mismatch with no chemistry whatsoever; a complete roundabout turn from the love-fun-filled EMA performance when Brian was running after Adam in little steps to keep up with our dashing rockstar, waving and brandishing to the audience. I cherish that moment and that's why I felt so bad. :)

@Lam-my I also felt like Brian just was really happy when Adam was up on that stage pulling him in and even singing to him, arm on shoulder etc. There was definitely somethin' there and it was missing with Jesse J. Nothing against her, but Adam was just so powerful (and I mean visually as well as vocally).

@ 2:47 P.M......JAK here

I'm not on twitter so can't pass info about new pyramid possibilities on to Adam. However, you gave me some busy work. I've been an Egyptophile since I was 11 years old...I went to a small school completely financed by a multi billionaire Egyptologist...it was near St. Louis. He poured money into the school with the stipulation that first thru 8th grade classes curriculum be based on info about Egypt. Weird but wonderful! Math, English, History and Geography were all to do with Egypt. I went there almost three years and vowed I'd grow up to be an Egyptologist...didn't happen but it's been a life long interest!
I'll make sure to follow up on this discovery....more tombs....Khufu, Menkaure and Khafre will have neighbors!
Party with the Pharoahs!

BTW....I think Pharrell Williams who seems to have a reserved seat on Am Idol has the look of an ancient pharoah....from glyphs I've seen!

@ August 13, 2012 4:52 PM, this is 1:37: so glad to see your post. Yes, indeed, aren't those older Jessie J "room" vids amazing... Linda R.-Yes! :). I really wish more Adam fans would look her up and see, even if they don't love her new stuff, see what an amazing raw talent she is. Her innate talent is soooo reminicent of Adam's, I think people would appreciate her on a whole new level if they took the time to watch her vids... and in those "room" vids, she talks alot, and what she says, her POV, her life POV, is also reminicent of Adam's, a lot to like and admire in Jessie J as a woman, as a person. I know this is an Adam site, but he admires her so much, for good and warranted reasons in my opinion, that I don't think it's too far off-topic. Anyway, glad you posted 4:52.
