I posted on an earlier thread, but once more time, I was at the Chicago show and had a great time! Adam sounded and looked wonderful (despite a not-so-perfect sound system) and moved around the stage so enticingly. Loved his hair and outfit and those EYES! He bantered with the audience full of people in wacky Halloween costumes and swigged a little vial of tequila that someone passed him from the audience. The set list was similar to Houston but I think a little shorter. But the crowed loved him. I've never been so close to him before, about 20 ft. There was a big area for standing in front of the stage and some small tables around the edges. The place was full and really hopping! Great time!

Oki-dok, here is my Halloween story...

Halloween 2015 !

One cool evening, Bert decided he would take a stroll around the Canyon. It was so peaceful. He would have loved to have a companion to walk and talk with. He sat on a rock overlooking the Hollywood sign, and thought how lucky he was to be living in such a safe sumptuous environment on The Hills. He lay flat on a rock, stretched, and did some breathing exercise. He even practised holding his 30-second-long note, surpassing his previous 22 seconds.
As he strolled along the Canyon edge, he admired the pristine woods and then a dark object perched on a branch, caught his attention; it seemed to be focusing on him. Whoa ! A camera? No, it couldn't be, the security is very tight on The Hills. And then the dark object disappeared.
Hellooo Bert...
Bert turned round, shocked ! as he thought he was alone.
Ra-a-a-ven ! Bert stammered. 'How did you get in here...' Raven smiled and winked. Bert seemed to have got the message.
Do you remember Raven? Bert's vampire friend who taught him how to siphon blood. Bert smiled and invited Raven back to his house. They splurged tantalisingly till late into the night. Caw! Caw! echoed in the surrounding woods...perhaps from ardent genuine ravens.
Riinnggg...Good morning ! His pet Cockatoo called from the balcony outside his bedroom. Good morning ! Bert replied.
By the way, this white Cockatoo has been Bert's constant companion for several years now. Oh, but its sense of time is still very inaccurate because in the evenings, it would still call out...Good morning! when Bert returned from a hard day's work. lol! But this time, it got it right.
Bert looked around for Raven. He had left... vampires are afraid of daylight. Then what about Bert...is he a vampire or not...perhaps, but he is very human and humane.
Bert jogged down to the Canyon stream where Raven appeared last evening. He scanned the wooded area to see if there were any signs of Raven, his vampire buddy. And then, he spotted a black crow on a branch, eyeing him. But this time, Raven simply dived into the Canyon and disappeared into the trees. Ahh, this was not Raven but a real black crow which had made its home here for some years. Bert strolled back once again by himself in anticipation of Another Lonely Night.
When he got home, everything seemed at a standstill but serene; and as usual, Cockatoo called out...Good morning ! Bert ruffled its beautiful white feathers as it perched on his shoulder. Time seemed to have stood still for Cockatoo lol! Good morning Raven ! Cockatoo called out again !
Bert looked at Cockatoo which gave him a bird wink. So was his vampire friend still in the house?
Ding Dong ! The front doorbell rang. Bert looked a little bewildered as he wasn't expecting anyone. He opened the door and lo and behold...a heartwarming smile greeted him.
Amore had not forgotten their annual Halloween rendevouz. He had just flown in from his paradise island resort where they often went midnight diving. That was where Bert and Amore discovered the underwater hollow cavern...remember?
As Bert had nothing much planned for Halloween, the intimate buddies decided to fly to Amore's chalet on the island resort and might even take another midnight dip.
They arrived quite late in the evening and the first thing Bert did, was look intensely at the pier. If you recall, that was where Benson sat all night waiting for his wife's spirit to sing to him. Her voice would float ethereally in the wind at dusk.
At midnight, they decided to take a dive as a follow-up to their previous meeting with Benson last Halloween. The cavern was Benson's favourite undersea haunt, as a keen diver and also to be close to his deceased wife. Continue...

Geared in their diving suits and propeller equipment, they soon got down to the seabed. Amore, the more seasoned diver shone the spotlight around. Yes, the sunken vessel came into view...this was the watery tomb of Benson's wife who perished in the ship disaster. A lot more barnacles and corals had made it their home. They found the same entrance that led them into the underwater somewhat haunted cavern.
As they propelled further in, the labyrinth entrance widened; they climbed onto the boulders that were above water and stepped onto the cave floor. Silent...apart from the lapping of waves against the boulders. Bert was inspired by its sheer tranquility and burst out in his operatic voice...
Another day, another lonely night
I would do anything to have you by my side
Another day, another lonely night
Don't wanna throw away another lonely life...
The reverberation echoed all around the cavern, so surreal.
And then a figure in a diving suit appeared from within the labyrinth. It was Benson! He was definitely attracted by Bert's powerful singing. Bert and Amore were in awe at the sight of him. Benson was visibly touched by Bert and Amore returning to the cave on exactly the same day, Halloween, one year ago.
Benson had aged quite a bit but was in high spirits. When asked if his wife still connected with him by her wailing, his face lit up and gave a definite nod. As they caught up on old times, they realised Benson was still in grief of his wife's sudden departure and found it difficult to let go of her memories.
Before leaving, Amore, an expert undersea photographer, took pictures of the three of them with the beautiful rocks as the backdrop.
An hour later, back on the chalet verandah...Bert and Amore were sipping tequila after their enriching dive to the sea floor. Suddenly, Amore jumped up from his chair holding the two photographs he took of them with Benson.
'Hey Bert ! Take a look at these photos !' Bert looked and he too jumped up from his chair and his tequila spilled onto the floor. Bert and Amore stared at each other disbelievingly. Benson was in the middle between Bert and Amore when they took the photograph but...
Where is Benson ? Oooo-la-la ! They checked other photographs that Amore took...there was no image of Benson. Shivers raced down their spines, goosebumps popped up too.
As if that was not eerie enough, Bert spotted a peculiar photo showing two persons standing behind some rocks in the backgroud... 'Who are they?' Bert pointed at them to Amore...
At this moment, Bert's ears picked up a distant familiar wail blowing in the wind...he gazed out at the pier and said a little prayer, a virtual goodbye to Benson and his wife.
The two Halloween pals walked back into the chalet...the moonlit waves rolling in, gently lapping against the seashore...
And now to end my story...
I spy with my mind's eye
A nice caring guy
Bert would give anything
To have him by his side
His yet to surface Original High ...lwl!
