They really should have been picked for this year, it would have been awesome as some songs were made for playing at a football game. I hope 2017 will be Adam's year and the same people that have already had a chance will not be chosen again. I would also like to have him sing/host and sing on Saturday Night Live. This is way overdue.

These polls don't mean a thing, of course. QAL won the poll last year but weren't chosen. (and likely won't be in the future). I predict that next year they will choose Adele. LOL! Doing the half-time show is a double-edged sword. Almost everyone who does it gets criticized big time. The SB is stereotypically a guy thing, so pretty females in skimpy outfits are chosen, along with real "guy" type guys, like Bruce Sprinsteen or Bruno Mars. Most people know and love Queen's "arena anthems," even if they don't know they're sung by Queen. QAL would kill it if they did perform the halftime show, but maybe they just don't fit the mold enough. Adam is flamboyant with Queen ala Freddie, but it's hard to say how they'd be accepted. I wish the SB peeps would have the courage to take that chance. It's the biggest gig in the world on that one day. I would love the world to hear Adam's fantastic voice.

Someone on an article comment sectionsaid that the halftime show is lip-synched and he would hate to see Queen have to stoop to doing a lip-synched show. Maybe sometimes a compromise is worth it to get a gig like that.

And you said it, Lynn! Adam as host/singer on SNL is long overdue. Just takes a REALLY BIG HIT SONG IN THE U.S. to make that happen.

QAL- 30.14. QAL was beginning to gain ground.

At 2:56, however, the vote was ...Britney-79.08 vs QAL-11.19!

I don't think Queen, with or without Adam are suited for an American football Super Bowl. I would like to hear Adam sing the Anthem, if he didn't try to make it his own, by changing the original tune. Most people don't like changes to the Anthem. Also leave off his scream, not needed for this song. Lady Gaga, was brilliant, and I am not even a fan of her.

There are a few vids of Adam out there singing the anthem. He HAS sung it totally traditionally with no frills. He does it beautifully and he could do it that way any time. Gaga added a few frills, but it still worked out ok. She's getting tons of accolades, of course.

I Don't hate me, but I think Queen is too GRAND, to play at the Super Bowl.it has lost a lot of it's credibility, it's only 12 minutes, and I just learned they don't even play their instruments live, because so many thing could go,wrong. I just don't think they would want to do it IMHO.

I can only see QAL doing it if it was live. There are so many great performers to choose from. Adele or the Foo Fighters would be incredible too. A joint performance like Sting and Peter Gabriel or Heart, Joan Jett and Cheap Trick are doing would be great. I'm surprised Taylor Swift hasn't done it.

Adele please. This horrible World (nother counting the good ones) need your 🎵🎶🎶🎶in their lives. Please do the super bowl and don't let me or any person in this mixed up planet down ( if u do , I don't blame you. We're all human 😊😊.)
