Concert Review! Queen + Adam Lambert At Isle Of Wight Festival 2016

The Isle of Wight festival basks in glorious sunshine (for the most part) as its mass appeal, family friendly mix hits the right notes.
The crowd may be noticeably more sparse than previous years, but it boasts an incredibly diverse age range. From babies in arms through to their great grandparents, everyone is catered for and that might just be the festival’s greatest strength, and one it plays to well this year.
The line-up, and in particular the headliners, are pure big name safe bets, with nothing further down the main stage bill to offend anyone (The Corrs or Mike and the Mechanics anyone?). In fact there’s nothing to make them move far from the massed camping chairs and picnic blankets that take over the main arena every afternoon, giving an air of a mass drunken picnic in the park. There are even wandering strawberries & cream salesmen doing a good trade, just because we’re at a festival it doesn’t mean we’re savages darling.

Yes, great review, but be sure to read the WHOLE section about QAL. It describes Adam as well and concisely as any reviewer ever has... and pretty much the way we Glamberts see him.....

"Lambert is outstanding, vocally he is perfect, personality wise he is charming, genuine and funny, and as a showman he connects with the vast crowd in a way no other performer has all weekend".

How about that? The only thing missing is a mention about what "eye-candy" Adam is...a bonus!
