Another, keen to join them on the bill, is iconic band Queen. Famous for songs, Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You amongst many others, the group have toured with singer Adam Lambert in recent years.
He's wowed crowds overcoming the unenviable task of replacing the deceased Freddie Mercury.
Lambert was asked by the NME whether he'd like to team up with Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor to play next year's Glastonbury.
"Who knows? That would be cool," he said.
"There is potentially more work with Queen. There is a lot of talk and a lot exciting stuff to discuss next year. I'm not ready to make announcements yet but there's a lot on the cards."

Glastonbury 2017 will take place at Worthy Farm between June 21 and 25.
We will bring you all the latest rumours and official announcements when we get them.

I don't think Brian is interested in this show, because the head guy for this event, back the culling of badgers. I don't think Adam was aware of this.

I read that, too. It may not happen for QAL if Brian doesn't want to. But I also think that Adam was giving a standard, polite answer. He couldn't very well say that Brian was against it. That's Brian's responsibility. He gave a nice, acceptable response of "Sure, that would be great." Personally, I'd love to see them do it, but Brian may stick to his guns and say no.

In Brian's life, I believe that culling of the badgers, is bigger than QUAL performing. He spends most of his life protecting the killing of innocent animals. He has put time and loads of money into this. I agree, Adam , I am sure would back Brian, about the badgers and other animals. If the people organizing Glastonbury, changed their minds about the badgers, and backed Brian in his endeavors to stop this, Brian would likely consider performing there, IF, they were asked.
