I like this picture very much! Adam looks like a giant against little Pharaoh.
Helloo Pharaoh! Good morning! Going for a walk in the neighbourhood...aha, you seem to know the way and leading your Daddy. You look helluva content like plodding along with good ole Daddy who is looking so smart and energetic.
Good morning Lam-My! Yea, this is a daily ritual pounding the pavements because Daddy wants me to be exposed to and be aware of my surroundings.
Are you both heading for the store perhaps to get some pet food?
I don't think so; Daddy got a lot of cans all different flavours to last for weeks.
Maybe he's taking you for your regular grooming at the salon.
Don't know yet because he didn't tell me. Usually, he would tell me in advance and I would have some idea.
Lam-My: My dog, Judy, many moons ago understood 'choong leong' / bathe (Cantonese). When we called out 'choong leong' she would beeline under the bed to hide; lol!
Pharaoh: Why was Judy so afraid of taking a bath? I love being pampered at the salon.
Lam-My: Very perceptive question Pharaoh, and you also partially answered your own question. The difference is Judy was not pampered; I think the cold water and even soap that might have smarted her eyes, scared her. We took turns to host her in the bathroom. She was very smart, the only dog that did not need toilet training; she just learnt it by instinct; simply went to the bathroom when she needed to pee...perhaps the wet floor was conducive. Once, she foiled a robbery; the thief was chipping at our front door; 2 am, everyone was asleep. She barked and scratched at the door as if trying to stop the thief. Well, my Mom and brother woke; by which time he was gone...leaving chipped marks at the bottom of the door.
Pharaoh: I wish I could tell you my past; quite traumatic at times, being shuttled to different homes; now, Daddy's beautiful home is my permanent residence and Runyon Canyon my exploration ground. Oooooeeeh!
Have a nice walk Pharaoh...enjoy every minute; Daddy may be on tour soon. Bye!

I'm just a walking the dog
If you don't know how to do it
I'll show you how to walk the dog"
