Adam Lambert does a promo on Spotify for Queen + Adam Lambert's new single "You Are The Champions," the proceeds of which benefit the World Health Organization.  This is followed by Brian May being interviewed on BBC about his recent injury, as well as about how the new single came about and about the concern that the band and concert promoters may need to rethink logistics and make major adjustments for next year's rescheduled Q+AL European tour — and tours beyond.

Every time I hear Brian May talk, I learn something. I feel to lucky to have discovered him through Adam. They are very special people. And I didn't know that he ran a wildlife refuge.

Interesting speculations about the future of huge music concerts. They are iconic parts of world culture, a real group experience. I would hate to see them become a thing of the past. Hope we don't have to give up that joy of community that live music brings.

Maybe I misunderstood something. My first impressions were that a recording of "You Are The Champions" was being offered for purchase...with the funds being donated to the COVID-19 fund for WHO.

Then Brian said their recording company had put a stop to it, and apologized to everyone. I assumed because it violated some contract or copyright. So, I looked up the address and donated to that COVID-19 fund for WHO anyway. It's especially important since Trump stopped all USA funds to WHO (World Health Organization)!!...blaming them for the spread of the pandemic (along with everybody else he can think of)....just when they are needed most!

Now, is "You Are the Champions" being again available for sale/donation after all?

Nanbert, yeah, I was a bit confused about that video, too. I guess even Brian couldn't make the donations go directly to the WHO. I hope people realize that donations can be sent directly, just as you did.

And happy Mother's Day to all, even though the day's almost over. LOL Mine was pretty peaceful.

My Mother's Day was SUPER, because I went over for dinner at my son's house....the first I've been with him, his wife, and both sons ....or anyone else....since sometime in mid-March. My son is like a mother hen with me, and won't let anyone near me, but it was SO GOOD to BE with them. Mother's Day is also my daughter-in-law's birthday....so it was a double celebration.

But seeing them and being with them made me really want HUGS! too. Bumping elbows just won't do it for me! Oh my! Will it ever be safe to hug again? And they wouldn't even let me pet and play with my grand-dog, but locked him in a bedrooom while I was there...sigh!

Nanbert, your family sounds super careful, and that's the way it should be! Glad your day was so great.
