Thank you to one of our readers, Jason90405, for posting a new video of Adam's two songs from Global Citizens' One World event with ENHANCED audio!

Brian May is interviewed by the UK's Smooth Radio and talks a little bit about Queen + Adam Lambert starting around 12:00 on the counter. The original video title on YouTube says that Brian is teasing a new Q+AL album; however, that is a bit overblown, as he does not actually do that.

LOVE that beautifully done audio of MW and SP. Adam's voice just glows!

Interesting interview with Brian. He's a fascinating person, so thoughtful and curious and wise. To be a world-class guitarist and hold a Doctorate in Astrophysics is quite a powerful combination.

Yes-s-s-s, Adam's improved audio is absolutely splendid!

Nice chat with Brian....he really is a Renaissance man.....and a true world citizen. Also, it's nice to see his and Adam's friendship and mutual respect for each other when they are together. I am always mindful of Adam telling about how Brian and Roger could have told him exactly HOW to sing their songs, and he was prepared to do just that....but instead, they told him to find his OWN way....and their wisdom and trust in Adam's musicianship paid off in his absolute brilliance as their frontman.

Brian, Roger and Adam were all SO courageous to embark on QAL! But it certainly paid off in the end....they are all superb musicians, with great work ethics....and they love what they're doing. And so do we!...and so does the world!

Hope they all stay safe and healthy. The world needs another QAL tour!

Just saw a message from Brian May. He messed up his "gluteus maximus" while gardening. Tour some muscles, was in the hospital but home now. Lotta pain. Sounds like lower back/upper butt area. Poor guy. Must hurt like hell.

Sorry about Brian May...sounds like he was doing some heavy-duty landscaping! Hope it won't cause an on-going misery, but is only a brief set-back. He needs to be well for those grueling concerts on the QAL tours!

And that reminds me about Sue Smith.... always one of Adam's most ardent and delightful fans here. I've been watching for her comments since her last entry on April 23rd (I scrolled back to check it out) at which time she said she was scheduled to see an out-of-town spine doctor on April 27th to talk about an operation to alleviate her constant pain and increasing disability.

I fully expected Sue would come back and report on the results of her consultation, and whether or not she would be undergoing an operation. But, since we have not heard from her since then, I am beginning to think she may have gone into an operation almost immediately after that consultation, and may be currently in the hospital....which would explain her uncharacteristic absence from here.

Best wishes, Sue, check back in with us when you're able.

Nanbert and all, yesterday was the first time I looked at any Adam things on the internet in a couple of weeke so you know I have been in pain. I did go to the spine doctor last week. They sent me to the hospital for bone density tests after he explained what he would operate on. He knew from my CD discs what was going on.
It's hard for me to explain I'm in so much pain right now. He finally got back to me couple days ago said he was sorry it took so long. He could only do one part of the operation and it may not hold if bones to soft. Around my spine only they are good enough the rest are bad. He can do both parts of the operation.
They will get with me to shedule it. In the mean time I also had to go to orthopedic dr. I have to get scan of my bad hip operation it may to be coming from my back. On top of that going pain dr next week.
I am tired of dragging myself around to these tests I'm in terrible pain.
I will have to go in to the hospital be there a few days to get this operation.
The dr Is a spine dr from San Antonio.
So he just comes to Victoria Texas which is 70 miles from my house few times a month.
With this Covid thing hospitals are scary. He said he had to go in and clean out my spine and lot of other things I don't even understand.
When your in pain things go over your head.
I'll let you know when I go in the hospital I do hope they get to it soon.
I let him know the other day I cannot manage the pain any more, on the phone.
I'm not explaining well Nanbert. Orthopedic dr just called me to shedule scans at hospital on my hip. My hands are going numb on me so I'll write more later.
Thank you Nanbert for always caring. Because of the Covid 19 things are hard about operations. So I hope they can get to it soon. He said they would get with me to shedule it but I dont know when. He has other patients as well. Love to all there. I think my daughters coming up tomorrow with family. I'll let you all know more later. I did see my Adam on Acess Hollywood the other day it just came on. I have things with Adam's name in it to record. Love to you all!
The orthapefic dr. Just called to shedule monday scans at my local hospital. I've got to get with pain dr. Because they want another appointment on the 13th. Same day pain dr.
God so many appointments and no relief from pain.

That was orthopedic dr. My hands are acting up. So sorry about Brian hope he will fully recover. God bless him!

Sue, words cannot express how sorry I am for what you are going through. Your pain level sounds very high. I hope your surgeries help you be more comfortable. Glad your family is coming to be with you. Hope your life will improve before too long. We are a family here, too.

Sue, I'm terribly sorry you haven't gotten rid of this awful pain yet.We appreciate that you have found the strength to write to us about your situation.
I hope to operate you as soon as possible and you get rid of these pains.

Sue Smith said...

Thank you Dee and Mi Re La. I told the pain dr another pain dr a couple years back said that about not cutting on my back. The dr said well he not the one in that kind of pain is he.
But, I do think he realized what he was referring to when he saw the bone scan.
Fortunately the bones are good enough just around my spine only.
Thanks so much for your caring it will help me get through all this junk.

Sue...Oops...don't know what happened there! I was starting to respond to you, my sister called, and I guess I accidently signed off. Sorry.

I wish I knew how to comfort you! Your family must feel helpless watching you in such pain. All I can do is hope that if you have decided to go ahead with the surgery...that your doctor will be able to schedule it as soon as possible....and he will be able to alleviate the pain you are in.

Thank you for bringing us up to date.

Nanbert just caring about me is doing a great deal. I sound like a walking soap opera or a badly walking soap opera. For some reason my legs are swelling more than usual on top of all this other stuff. Thank you for caring thanks to all who care!

Sue...you know we are all family here....and always ready to give moral support to each other when needed. You would do...have done...the same.

Glamberts, I know the Ebay Auction of some of Adam's costumes is over, but can't find the results. I'm not very good at hunting around on the internet, but I did come across the information that the green leather jacket went for over $9,000!

Does anyone have a list of the final results of the auction...item by item? I'd love to know how much money was raised. I'd also love to know each buyer's plans for what they bought, but guess that's not likely.

That was a great idea of Adam's.

Nanbert said...

Just found out the auction made over $47,000....WOW! But would still love to know how that broke down for each item.

Sue Smith said...

47,000 fabulous that will help so much.
Yes we are a family here Nanbert and that's very special. My daughter and son in law and kids just left. Just like a hurricane went through lol.

Sue, I will add to the chorus that I am sorry to hear you are going through these pains; I do sincerely hope you are able to find ways to ease them and to recover.

And about to create a new post with Adam tweet regarding the finally eBay tally and a few others things.

Sue Smith said...

Thank you broddy I am so out of it today. I haven't been sleeping. I have just been resting today from lack of sleep all week. Got a bunch of doctor stuff next week. Those trips do me in.
Thank you for all your thoughts.
I am really worried about Brian I hope he gets over this without any lingering pains.
He a good man like Adam and I have grown to love him mainly because of his love of animals. I pray he gets better soon. That kind of injury is very painful. Hopefull it will completely heal as soon as it can. Well the hands going prickly so I'll sign off for now.
