Brian May is a genius and man of many talents. If anyone can find a way to continue live concerts, it's him. Good luck, Brian!

Glad so find out what that Dec. 13 event actually is. It's been on my calendar for quite a while. Wonder when it took place? Just imagining Adam singing O Holy Night makes me get goos bumps! Remember when Adam was in China and did that big show onstage with a very funny host and co-host and Adam taught the host how to sing a snippet of O Holy Night? It was very funny. The man did not speak much English, and he made it really fun. I think they had Adam eat some very strange food, too.

Disappointing news Re: "Help Is On The Way For The Holidays XIX" being broadcast on Dec. 13....sorry to disappoint, but a clip of Adam singing "Oh Holy Night" will NOT BE SHOWN! My inept bumbling around on the internet discovered a Q & A with the charity presenting the program. They said that a "performance clip by Adam Lambert and Catte Adams", singing a duet of "You've Got A Friend in Me" will be shown. Note...that explains the listing on the "flyer" for this show as listing "Adam Lambert & Catte Adams"....not just Adam alone.

The reason for the confusion/quote...."Adam Lambert's powerful performance of "O Holy Night" brought the audience to its feet" ....came from a 2005 review of that year's "Help Is On The Way For The Holidays VII" in the Bay Area Reporter. During that program, Adam sang both "O Holy Night" AND a duet of "You've Got A Friend In Me" with Catte Adams.

Too bad we can't have BOTH clips of Adam's 2005 performances in the upcoming program! Personally, I'd much prefer "O Holy Night"! But I'll take Adam any way he comes!

That's too bad about O Holy Night. It's a real show-stopper. But we get what we can get. It was a long time ago, before Idol. As good a he was then, he just gets better and better over time. Never ceases to thrill me with that voice.

Absolutely, Dee R Gee....he just gets better and better....both in voice and performance. Maybe one of these days we'll get our "O Holy Night". It'll be even better for the waiting.

And, yes, I remember that "O Holy Night lesson" with the Chinese host. Amusing! Wasn't that around the time Adam won something like "the Most Popular Foreign Artist" (or a similar title) in China? Sometimes I think Adam is more revered overseas than in his own country!

I can't think of a single reason why next November we shouldn't be getting a Christmas album from Adam. It would be the right time.

Patria....I remembered once, in an interview, it was suggested that Adam should sing/record some Xmas songs. At the time, he pointed out that he was Jewish..and didn't celebrate Xmas. He didn't elaborate, but I felt he thought it might be improper for him to sing Xmas songs, especially religious ones. However, he didn't rule them out completely either.

He might consider an occasional song, as he has already done....but I'm not holding my breath until he does a complete Album.

But we can always hope! There's a lot of "blockbuster" Xmas songs I'd love to hear him sing....like "O Holy Night". Unfotunately most of them are also very religious.

I remember when Adam was asked that question about a Christmas album. I think his answer was kind of off-the-cuff. He has said he was not raised in a strict Jewish tradition at all. He is Jewish through his mother's side, as is the tradition. He said they had Christmas at their home with gifts, etc. I don't think he will ever do a whole Christmas album (although, never say never) but he may do a Christmas song here and there.

Heard that his 2005 O Holy Night will not be part of the program on the 13th. The other song(s) will. We'll see.

Mi Re La, is that an official BTS vid or a fan video? I love that song so much and I wish it had tons more exposure.

Attention Glitzylady and Broddybounce. While we all enjoy Sharka, would you also consider the drawings from this talented Lambert please.
