ABC cancels Adam Lambert GMA performance!

ABC Statement via mediabistro: “An ABC News spokesperson tells TVNewser, ‘given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.’”
This is not good. I'm actually furious they would do this. If you do not like what ABC had done, go to Twitter and help trend #ShameOnYouABC which is #1 right now.

If every Adam Lambert fan sent in a complaint to ABC and Good Morning America for this outrageous decision, they'd have many times more than the 1500 complaints apparently voiced about the AMA performance. We have the numbers - let's do it!! And express our appreciation to CBS and The Early Show at the same time.

ABC is crazy to think Adam's early-morning appearance would be the same kind as the AMAs. They obviously don't know who he is. Adam tailors each appearance to the venue and the song he's singing. He's more intelligent and creative than most performers that way.
After watching the whole AMA show, I fail to understand why Adam's performance has been singled out as inappropriate. I'd rather watch him anytime - any way - than listen to Eminem rap about rapes & murders.
I will let ABC know how I feel about their small-mindedness, and also will thank CBS for being smart. Can't wait to hear Adam sing "Whataya Want From Me" on Letterman tomorrow. And all you complainers who think you now know who Adam "really is", tune in...I think you'll be surprised.
ABC will not know what has hit them! Wait until Adam's (groupies) all find out. There will be a full scale RIOT!!!!! Are they banning Janet Jackson from T.V. also for grooping a dancers croch @ the AMA's, Rihanna for her S & M performance on the rotating bondage machine and the rappers that sang @ raping women & killing people etc. & the language that was SO foul that they bleeped out almost the entire song! You couldn't tell what 1 sentence was! There is NO difference from what Adam did! They have just become accustom to the other antics because it has been done on TV for SO long.
Why doesn't ABC let one of the other networks take the AMA account if they are SOOO AFRAID of PROGRESSION! ABC IS THE LOWEST RANKING NETWORK! Now we know why! I never watch ABC anyway! Was only going to watch cause ADAM was going to perform! Just wait! ADAM WILL PREVAIL!!!!
