Kimberely Locke changed the channel before Adam appeared on AMA's because she wanted to see a veteran performer close the show.
If she claimed to be a fan, why did she not watch it? She sounds bitter.

If She only wants to watch veterans, why did she even bother to go on Idol. Lamo! Sorry Rod Stewart was already asleep.
Ridiculous and unbelievable reason. She didn't watch him because he wasn't a veteran??? Her eyes can only gaze upon established stars? Then she says that the reaction to him was bias against AI performers?? Looks like she is subscribing to that particular bias herself. Crazy. I think it's called envy--she nor anyone else from Idol--ever got the chance he got the star treatment he's getting. She should be embarrassed by such a blatant lie and show of jealousy.
What the hell was that? She's a nobody so I don't really care what she thinks. I doubt Adam cares about her opinion.
Well it is insane that she turned the channel, but I understand what she is saying. American Idol fans are often middle america looking for a nice piece of wholesome. That is the only explanation for why Adam didn't win!! It also explains why so many viewers were surprised by Adam's performance. Maybe they aren't familiar with today's music scene, just AI fans. It is total BS of course, but AI has some very conventional fans (some, not all).

I didn't change the channel because I had waited too, too long to see him! If Adam wasn't there on Sunday, I don't know who could have taken his place..just don't know..who's that AMA superstar! everyone's kinda lo-key..we don't have those megastars like Micheal Bolton, George Micheal, Cher, Celion..don't know who could have taken that place!

why would anyone from AI not support others from
her former platform,if she never entered the AI family we would not be seeing her on tv. "Adam is very talented" most celebrities were waiting in anticipation to see Adams performance,he is off the charts amazing! and Kimberly should note when Adam took the stage everyone stood up!check out the response of the people she was talking to.
You know I used to like her on AI. She certainly is a fairweather AI alumni. "I like him but I turned the channel". Wanted to see someone more established? The AMA's, founded by Dick Clark, is about new talent also. Really,who could have topped Adam's closing? Pretty unique you must admit....
