Adam Lambert's debut album "For Your Entertainment" sells 11,712 copies last week, making its total sales to about 531,000! That platinum is coming!

I think he needs around 450,000 copies to hit platinum. He'll get there!
He might get there if the average person were able to walk in a store and actually find a copy. It is still so disappointing when I check out our local store and haven't found any copies for weeks. Tons of Susan Boyle covering the shelves, but no Adam. What few copies they had sold early and haven't seen any replacements. Not everyone frequents the internet and many older people still prefer purchasing from a store.
You have to sell a million to be platinum.
