We promised a heads up and here it is...
Tomorrow night's "Playlist" -- that's Friday, 11:35 p.m. -- is already generating a lot of buzz online and on Twitter -- as well it should. Never hurts to have the Los Angeles Times spreading the word.
Rising superstar Adam Lambert sat down with producer Steven Baker last month at a New York City hotel for an intimate conversation about his musical influences.
The word from Baker is that the shoot looks fantastic and Lambert really opened up about his family and the music that mattered as he grew up.
Lambert joins other "American Idol" success stories to appear in the "Playlist" series, including Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson, whose interview is embedded below.
