Always-unpredictable ‘American Idol’ finalist Adam Lambert will be the featured act when ‘Unplugged’ kicks off its 12th cycle on March 10.
Created in 1989 – back when MTV covered, you know, music – ‘Unplugged’ presents recording artists performing without the aid of electronic equipment. And heaven knows, Adam’s pipes are plenty profound as is.
‘Adam Lambert: Unplugged,’ the series’ first outing since Katy Perry went au naturel in October, marks the first of eight new episodes which will also feature The Script, Phoenix (to air on MTV) and Reba McEntire (on CMT).
Lambert’s booking was first reported by BestWeekEver.tv.
Lambert was a guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ earlier this week, and is set to return to the ‘American Idol’ stage around the time of this season’s Top 12 week.

I record these programs when they are on so I can watch whenever I want. Just think, I may still be watching Adam when I'm old and grey.
