Adam Lambert mention in MSN Article about Season 9 American Idol

First the bad news: It's been a disappointing season thus far on "American Idol." For starters, there haven't been any truly memorable performances to talk about; in comparison, by this time last year, Adam Lambert had already set the "Idol" world abuzz with an ungodly interpretation of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." Sure, there have been some masterful turns onstage, but no one's crowding around the water cooler to talk about Crystal Bowersox and Michael Lynche. Further, it seems this year's slate of contestants hasn't quite lived up to expectation. I know, I know -- each year, we hear hype that the present season's cast is the strongest yet. But this year, the disparity between what was billed and what we've actually experienced has been laughable. And it sure doesn't help that we lost both Lilly Scott and Alex Lambert last week. It all leaves me wondering: Is this the best we've got?

I'm watching this season's AI but I don't have a favorite. :( They all are mediocre at best.
After Adam, I could never watch the entire AI show each week. I have occasionally flipped over to it when NCIS reruns go to commercials,and what I've heard is awful!! I WILL watch the week they bring Adam back!
This season sucks so bad. I can't even watch it because I got bored of the contestants. I liked Alex Lambert (not because he has the same last name as our bb) but he was pretty good at singing.
Toddrick is gone. What a shame! He and Big Mike were my favorites. I guess once you've been bitten by the Adambug, you are hooked for life and nothing else quite measures up. This season, I can take it or leave, usually to do my laundry or dishes, which could pile to the ceiling last year for all I cared.

Does anyone know when Adam will appear on Idol? I keep thinking every week he will be on there but not yet. I guess they are saving the best for last.
I reeeeeally miss my Adam Lambert - He is my superhero - What a whole package! He is the all-round superstar who lifted Idol 8 out of the stratosphere. I agree with the others after Adam Lambert there is not American Idol - I will only watch American Idol when Adam returns with his band. May the gods protect ADAM!!!!

I would rather watch videos of Adam Lambert, than watch AI, or anything else. I am obsessed with Adam!!!
im sitting with my husband watching idol and say how much i miss adam being on the show. he says your gonna have to get over it cause you cant live like that. we both laugh.
Watched but find it pretty unexciting. They are trying to ramp it up, but even when they do, they just don't have the level of talent we saw last year - Adam wreck American Idol!!
it is sad, people keep comparing adam to the AI 9 but it is a fact and we have to face the consequences there is only 1 adam lambert and it will be for a long time.

i've been watching this season, because i always have, but nobody comes close to adam. didn't think anyone ever could, so i'm not disappointed in that respect. they let a lot of weak people through. there were some strong contenders during auditions that would have done better than this group. losing toddrick was a mistake. i'm enjoying crystal a lot. but anyone expecting another adam lambert was bound to be disappointed. won't ever happen again.
I watch AI every week, but it is so boring. Every time someone sings a song, I think of how much better it would sound if Adam was singing it. When I see the long stairway, I remember 'Feeling Good'. I don't even like anyone using those stairs anymore. They belong to Adam. He owned them. He owned the whole show.
