Security is obviously keeping large crowds at bay and with good reason. He would be swarmed if not for that. Could have gotten ugly.

yes, i have been to tokyo and other parts of japan, very pretty especially the country sides. shopping is fantastic and if you want bargains go to tokyo either mid year or after new year. genuine sales and people are extra extra nice and friendly. ARIGATO GAZAIMAS!
